I am incredible grateful to have found Savant of Woodland Hills Assisted living for a Family member. Avi Kapur one of the staff directors was very attentive helpful and supportive in the transition from a SNF facility to Savant. The staff are very welcoming supportive caring and friendly and Sofiya the staff nurse arranged for his visit to the hospital when he was not feeling well and followed up with a phone call. It 's been a great experience so far, he is loving it, has made some new friends and has given me the peace of mind needed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an Assisted living for a loved one. Thanks

Finding the right place for your loved one is an extremely difficult and challenging task. My elderly mom lived alone for the past 40 years, but due to a bad fall, she spent 8 weeks recovering in the hospital and a skilled nursing facility, before transitioning to assisted living at Savant. I can’t say enough good things about Savant of Woodland Hills, especially Jeanette. She’s kind, caring, and compassionate, and the one person who kept me sane during this tough transition”she always made herself available when needed. The friendly staff checked on my mom regularly, and Sofia’s experience and knowledge of elderly residents gave me peace of mind. Savant quickly became MY second home, as I was able to spend every day visiting my mom, due to the close proximity to my own home. The food was great, and my mom couldn’t get enough of their delicious sweet potato fries. She quickly became friends with another Japanese resident too. Sadly, due to my mom’s condition and family differences, we had to prematurely move her out. All of the positive aspects of Savant made it difficult to leave--it was heartbreaking to move my mom. I’ll truly miss this place and its staff. If you’re looking for an assisted living facility for your parent or loved one, I highly recommend starting your tour at Savant of Woodland Hills. Andbe sure to ask for Jeanette. She’s an amazing, caring person, and one of a kind! Words can’t express how much she helped us during my mom's stay.

I can’t say enough about the staff at Savant of Woodland Hills. 5-star, A-plus! From the moment we made contact with Jeanette when we were researching the best place for our 95-year old mom, Savant has provided my mom and our family with the comfort, care, and compassion that we were looking for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there are lots of activities and opportunities to live a full life. In addition to Jeanette and her welcoming presence and energy, Avi Kapur partnered with our family to assist us in moving through what can be complicated and frustrating processes with insurance and financial aid programs. He guided us through the process, led with kindness and compassion, and was successful in getting us to the end. I can only sing the praises. This has been one of the most challenging times having to put my mom into Assisted Living. My mom and I toured a handful of places and we felt that Savant Woodland Hills was the best choice. Jeanette has been a blessing to me and she is the silver lining. She made such a difficult decision and process so much easier. Jeanette is just an amazing human being who is so compassionate and caring. My mom and I both adore her, and having Jeanette at Savant makes this life transition more tolerable. I also want to give a shout out to Avi. Jeanette and Avi made this process so much easier for me. I can rest better at night knowing my mom is being taken care of. Also, my mom likes their food and they have such great activities that my mom partakes in.

I am very Happy with our choice of Savant Senior Living for my brother. The people there are very friendly and take great care of my brother Rick. The food looks wonderful and he loves it! My brother’s quality of life improved dramatically the day he first joined the memory care unit at Savant Woodland Hills, and I am so grateful for the compassionate care and support he has received since moving in this summer. It takes a village’ to meet the many needs of loved ones facing social isolation and challenges around daily personal care and I have found that village in the supportive community at Savant Woodland Hills. Among the 18 memory care facilities I contacted in greater Los Angeles, Savant’s dual commitment to both quality care and affordability was unmatched. From the first introductory meeting to my brother’s move-in five weeks later, senior staff member Jeanette Hernandez provided kind and expert assistance at every stage. Six weeks have passed since my brother moved in and he is visibly more cheerful, peaceful, conversational and actively engaged with his world than he has been in months. And I am more relaxed, secure in the knowledge that he feels at home and safe in the midst of such a caring and supportive community and is receiving the 24/7 monitoring needed at this stage of his life. Selecting a memory care facility isn't something you want to do, it's something you end up needing to do. And it is usually a very stressful experience, but I must say that from the moment I came into this place to tour it, the staff was so comforting and friendly. Kevan the director has a very kind and calm demeanor and he immediately made us feel safe about placing my dad here. The next several staff members we had to connect with for some additional steps before his acceptance, were also very comforting and supportive, they helped us every step of the way. And now that my dad is living there I feel a sense of relief knowing he is being cared for by great people. When I visited him this weekend he was dancing and happy, I haven't seem him like that in a while. The first floor is assisted living only so it has a very light and independent feeling which helps the energy of the entire facility. The 2nd floor is secure and locked with staff only access, which is where my dad is due to his dementia. But they have a nice open patio and they entertain them daily with activities. I can't say enough great things about this place so far.

What a great experience I had while visiting The Commons. The staff are so inviting and friendly. The community made me feel like I was a part of the family. The Residents are so active, they have activities everyday. Kevan the Executive Director is so supportive and available for questions and concerns. The Sales and Marketing Team, Samantha and Jorge gave the best tour of the facility. They answered every question I had. The front desk concierge greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. The dining room was beautifully decorated and the food was absolutely delicious. Just an overall great experience and I would recommend anyone that’s looking to place their love one in a loving and family type setting. The Commons of Woodland Hills is the best place.

I have to say that the Commons has impressed me tremendously. My mother has always been particular about all affairs of her life and at 87 that has not changed. Naturally I was concerned about possible issues with her accepting things once we arrived. I was pleased to see The Commons was a well maintained and clean facility. Jorge and Samantha (our liaisons) met us at the door. As soon as we walked in Mother was greeted by Alma their friendly receptionist. I asked to meet the Executive staff to explain my mothers needs and to see how Mother liked them. Vanessa the Business Office Director and Kevan the Executive Director were so kind and down to earth they eased mothers usual defensive posture right away. Well, she said yes to The Commons! Thank you so much Commons staff! Im grateful and appreciative of your making what could have been a difficult transition into a smooth and pleasant one!

Julie and the rest of her staff at the Commons Woodland Hills provide a welcoming atmosphere. They are a great group of individuals who make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The community is beautiful with awesome views for the residents. I would recommend this community to all looking for a place to call home.

I came to tour The Commons with Julie Sagal to explore options for my grandparents. We sat out at the beautiful patio area (pictured) to discuss my family’s needs. I also got a sneak peek of some of the meals the residents were enjoying and the food looked delicious! Walking into the lobby I noticed this unique piece of art (pictured). Julie told me the story behind this piece of art and it’s worth sharing: During the peak of covid when residents couldn’t socialize, they would come down a couple at a time and draw/paint on this huge canvas. Each resident participated and they ended up creating this piece of art that is displayed in the lobby. This story was so heartwarming and I think it’s a great art piece to display! The tour was great and Julie was very helpful! Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to working with them in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for senior living.

I have been doing a lot of research on the communities around the valley recently once we began searching for my grandmas next home. I was starting to feel like we may not find the right fit for us until a friend recommended that I check out The Commons. I called the community and they transferred me to their sales department where I had the pleasure of speaking with Julie. She was so kind and took the time out to explain their process to me. She answered every one of my hundred questions and even offered to have me come in for a tour that same day! Throughout my tour, Julie introduced me to some other staff members and we even stopped to chat with a resident. My family and I quickly decided this was the place for my grandmother and I am so happy with our decision. Thank you Julie for taking so much stress off our shoulders and making this a seamless transition for all of us.

This facility was such a disappointment. We had to move my aunt out of here due to the apathy of the staff and the poor care she was receiving. We were paying top dollar for advanced care but the staff was doing the bare minimum. Do not put a loved one in this facility. You will regret it.
