I have to say that the Commons has impressed me tremendously. My mother has always been particular about all affairs of her life and at 87 that has not changed. Naturally I was concerned about possible issues with her accepting things once we arrived. I was pleased to see The Commons was a well maintained and clean facility. Jorge and Samantha (our liaisons) met us at the door. As soon as we walked in Mother was greeted by Alma their friendly receptionist. I asked to meet the Executive staff to explain my mothers needs and to see how Mother liked them. Vanessa the Business Office Director and Kevan the Executive Director were so kind and down to earth they eased mothers usual defensive posture right away. Well, she said yes to The Commons! Thank you so much Commons staff! Im grateful and appreciative of your making what could have been a difficult transition into a smooth and pleasant one!

Julie and the rest of her staff at the Commons Woodland Hills provide a welcoming atmosphere. They are a great group of individuals who make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The community is beautiful with awesome views for the residents. I would recommend this community to all looking for a place to call home.

I have been doing a lot of research on the communities around the valley recently once we began searching for my grandmas next home. I was starting to feel like we may not find the right fit for us until a friend recommended that I check out The Commons. I called the community and they transferred me to their sales department where I had the pleasure of speaking with Julie. She was so kind and took the time out to explain their process to me. She answered every one of my hundred questions and even offered to have me come in for a tour that same day! Throughout my tour, Julie introduced me to some other staff members and we even stopped to chat with a resident. My family and I quickly decided this was the place for my grandmother and I am so happy with our decision. Thank you Julie for taking so much stress off our shoulders and making this a seamless transition for all of us.

I came to tour The Commons with Julie Sagal to explore options for my grandparents. We sat out at the beautiful patio area (pictured) to discuss my family’s needs. I also got a sneak peek of some of the meals the residents were enjoying and the food looked delicious! Walking into the lobby I noticed this unique piece of art (pictured). Julie told me the story behind this piece of art and it’s worth sharing: During the peak of covid when residents couldn’t socialize, they would come down a couple at a time and draw/paint on this huge canvas. Each resident participated and they ended up creating this piece of art that is displayed in the lobby. This story was so heartwarming and I think it’s a great art piece to display! The tour was great and Julie was very helpful! Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to working with them in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for senior living.

Finding a place for my grandmother was really stressful. I didn’t know where to start or who to speak to. Then, I was introduced to The Commons. Their entire staff was so welcoming, understanding, and knowledgeable. They really care about what they are doing. This really put my mind at ease. Julie got me in for a tour same day and even on a weekend! She was warm and quick to respond to the many questions I had. From the staff to the community itself, The Commons is amazing and I highly recommend it!

This facility was such a disappointment. We had to move my aunt out of here due to the apathy of the staff and the poor care she was receiving. We were paying top dollar for advanced care but the staff was doing the bare minimum. Do not put a loved one in this facility. You will regret it.

The staff take good care of mom. They are encouraging, attentive and they are open to making changes to keep her happy. They offer a lot of activities including a spelling bee. There are people from a church that come in on Wednesday and Sunday. The food is really good. The community is clean and they have a patio with a fountain. She has a nice room that feels like a small apartment with a full bath and a refrigerator. This community is a good value and I would recommend it.

I am happy to know that my mom is in a good community with great staff members who are attentive to her needs. The community is clean and maintained. The menu is very good and she is pleased with the variety. We like knowing that they have activities for her to participate. We would recommend this community for good care and good value.

I have my mom living at this community. She enjoys her meals given, although she has a small appetite and don't have half-potions available. The staff are great and car for my mom very well. The staff also do a good job keep the facility clean. My mom likes to play bingo and go to social hour. I would recommend this community for the good benefits.
