Hello All, I was recently plunged into the world of senior home care after my 96 year old aunt fell and was released from rehab after a 6 week stay… I am so thankful my online search for in home care services lead me to Amada! The owner, Rick, spent a lot of time on the phone with me discussing options, pricing, the ins and outs of home care in general and patiently addressing all my concerns… It is refreshing these days to find a business so well run and centered on delivering quality services at a time when they are truly needed the most! The caregivers were kind and professional and Rick was highly adaptable to what turned out to be some unforeseen shifts in levels of care and services that my aunt required! Communication was excellent, as were all the solid suggestions for my aunt’s situation he offered which were obviously based on solid experience and compassion! I highly recommend Amada without reservation!!!

When my dad fiercely wanted to stay independent, Rick and Michelle at Amada Senior Care San Fernando Valley were the key to making that possible. Caregivers drove my dad to doctor appointments and helped him with groceries, housekeeping, and washing clothes. They listened to his needs, honored his requests, and always treated my dad with dignity and respect. I am so grateful for Rick and Michelle. We were with Amada Senior Care for 18 months. We had 2 family members go into hospice care the same week and it was devastating to our family. A nurse advocate recommended Rick Hagins, owner of Amada as someone who had 24/7 quality caregivers available. Within 24 hours Rick was at our home and a quality caregiver started that evening. For 18 months someone from Amada was with our loved ones 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They never missed a shift and even Rick would fill in where needed. Amada was a very real life saving operation for our family. We would recommend Amada Senior Care to any family who found themselves in need of quality caregiving.

Working Here Has Been Nothing But Great Days. They say when you do something for a long time you kinda lose your love for it and that was me before I was employed by Amada. I pick up shifts and go to work on time, give my best even when people arent the best because I know behind the company, there are genuine people who uplift, and try their complete best for you. Some employers I worked for would make you feel guilty for taking a day off. If I ever took a day off, Michelle or Rick didnt give me a long winded guilt trip into staying on my shift. Its always okay, well find someone to cover followed by a genuine get well or do your best- when I was losing my mind over testing for my career. If you decided to work here, theyd make you feel covered. I havent been put into a situation that I know they havent been in first and that to me is very important.

I couldnt recommend Rick Hagins and Amada Senior Care more highly. I was in a desperate situation and needed very last-minute care for my mom we could afford, who not only was extremely difficult to care for, we were in Koreatown with no access to parking, which was another added challenge. I was referred to Amada by Barbara Wogh, RN of Keeping Your Parents Safe (another blessing), and Rick was able to get me in-home support the next day. After explaining all of my situations particulars, he went above and beyond to meet our unique-complex needs successfully within 24 hours. The caregiver who cared for my mom was skilled, compassionate, and helped with cleaning, which we were deeply grateful for but didnt expect since my mom was herself a full-time job. I will be forever grateful for such excellent help and support during such a challenging time for us.

They take the time to ensure that their care givers have that same mind set, they hand pick them based on your environment and work closely with you to ensure the care that is given is as if it was family. Timing is everything. The owner, Rick Hagins, came into my office to introduce himself and his services. 24 hours later my 89 yo father was discharged from the hospital, and Rick was able to get me help immediately. The care givers he sent were terrific and the process was easy. He really came through for me and my family, and saved us a lot of worry.
