This has been a great choice for my mother. Being in an out of state location, not able to visit much, they are always attentive to our needs. Staff keeps us informed and Mom is active and happy. Highly recommended.

I love how everyone is so friendly and caring towards their residents. Celine drives the transport van for my mom's doctor appointments and gets her there on time. Diane, the Executive Director is prompt with returning emails. The caregivers are very helpful. I love having a meal with my mom in the dining room. The food is always great!!

My mom has been living at Alta Vista for nearly 3 years now. Im so pleased with the care that she gets. They have taken every precaution during this scary time with Covid and I trust them to keep my mom safe. The staff is patient, kind and attentive. They have many activities and shes encouraged to be involved with exercise classes, arts & crafts, etc. I wouldnt want her living anywhere else!

I have been living at Alta Vista in the assisted living since Sept 2020. I have a nice studio apartment. I enjoy the delicious food prepared by Chef Miguel. I always participate in the morning exercise and daily bingi. I highly recommend this community. and

We checked out a lot of places for my mother and Alta Vista Senior Living was so far the best fit home for my mother because its not such a big place and just right for every body to know one another , its like a family there . The staff are all friendly and very caring. It was just unfortunate that when we moved my mother there was when COVID-19 started and they went onLockdown but everything went okay and they took care of our mother. Hoping this Pandemic will soon be over.

All of the staff and caregivers at Alta Vista are very competent, helpful and kind. They go out of their way, especially during these difficult COVID times, to provide excellent care. Mom moved in in July 2020 and has been very happy. Safety and wellbeing are priorities at Alta Vista. I am very happy we chose Alta Vista to take care of Mom!

Weve had the opportunity to visit this senior center on multiple occasions (pre-Covid) and we were so impressed with their huge list of activities for seniors. We were able to volunteer and partake in some events and decided to follow them through the Covid lockdown. Ive been truly inspired by the actions theyve taken to maintain mental, emotional and physical development in their center during these trying times. We hope to be able to volunteer again in the future when it seems safe but in the meantime, we love seeing all the regular pictures of our friends that weve made there.

I wanted to post 4 - 12, because nothing is ever perfect.I have written reviews on another part of this site regarding a few stellar staff members.Walking into our front door, onr enters a small lobby - a gather4 place for readers, those waiting for friends or family & those just wanting to be part ofhe on-going activity.Those entering the premises are warmly greeted by Sherry, our concierge, who capably directs visitors, venders, outside care staff etc.to their destination. I think the front office staff (Sheri), Recreational Coordinator (Rachel), Caregiver Cecelia, Medtech Reina and Director David go above and beyond the requirements for the job. And whats even better, you can tell they genuinely care about people. They have a personal standard of just treating the residents like they are their own relatives. Finding a perfect home for a loved one is not easy! Alta Vista is an amazing community and the staff cares so much for the residents and families. The community has a great activities program each month for both assisted living and memory care. Holly, the Marketing Director is an outstanding advocate for her community! Our loved one enjoys engaging activities at Alta Vista Senior Living. Especially during this time of quarantine, Rachel, the activities director has made it possible to FaceTime our loved one! Alta Vista Senior Living is incredible. The staff are caring, qualified, hands-on and personable. I knew the moment that I walked into the facility that this was a place to call home for our Mom. Everyone had smiles on their faces. The staff, the residents...even during a difficult time during the pandemic. My family cant thank you enough for welcoming Mom and our family into you community. I am finely at ease that Mom is finally being well- taken care of. She is happy too and hasnt looked this good in months. I recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for help with an elderly parent.

I feel so lucky I found Alta Vista Senior Living for my Mom! I was really worried about finding a place she could afford and still be well taken care of, and most importantly, happy! I love that AVSL is on the smaller side as it has a more intimate feel vs. some of the larger places. Every time I visit her, she tells me thank you and how happy she is to be living there. All the employees that I have come in contact with are wonderful and major kudos to Rachel, the Activities Director - she is an absolute angel and its very obvious that she loves what she does! I cannot say enough great things about Alta Vista Senior Living!!

The staff is exceptional. Very helpful and caring. I feel at ease knowing my mom is being cared for especially during these trying times when i cant see her or take her out. Very thankful to the med techs, caregivers, activities director, housekeepers, cooks and front desk greeters.

Three years ago, it came to a point where my mom needed more attentive daily care. I remembered a long-time friend was extremely happy with the facility her mom was living in. I gave her a call, and she referred me to Alta Vista Senior Living (formally Vista Village). We were given a tour and immediately felt comfortable with the facility. I have been pleased with the attention, care, and kindness shown to my mom by the staff. It certainly gives me peace of mind knowing my mom is being well cared for.

I visited this retirement community and am very impressed. The people are friendly and Holly provided me with all the information I needed. She is wonderful! Everyone was happy, and the upgrades from the remodeling look terrific. Great place!

Ive been to a lot of senior living communities, and this one definitely has the best activity program Ive ever seen. Rachel is amazing, creative, and a wonderful activity director. She appeals to all residents and their picky needs when it comes to fun ideas and gatherings.The building is being remodeled and already looks 10x better than before. David is an awesome ED and really cares for his staff and residents.
