This community is the best in Stockton! Oakmont of Brookside is a beautiful community inside and out. The times I have visited the community staff and residents made me feel very welcome. I had taken my grandma here for a tour with the family and the staff was so wonderful, the lovely lady who gave us the tour was very informative and helpful. We sat down for lunch which was so delicious, I hope my grandma has a wonderful time here.

The rooms are nice, The common areas are beautiful. The activities are fun, and the staff encourage the residents to participate in them. The staff has given my dad a few responsibilities which give him a purpose in life and so much joy. The meals are very good. The staff are responsive to my dad and to me. I recommend Oakmont of Brookside.

I am very pleased with the care my 91 year old mother is receiving at Oakmont of Brookside. She is continually checked on, has lots of in-house activities to keep her busy, as well as on-the-road excursions. She enjoys the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and has a good number of other residents who are her new friends.

Being at Oakmont of brookside and seeing firsthand the outstanding care and compassion that is given to each and every resident from the staff is something you wont find anywhere else. Each staff member goes above and beyond to make sure the residents needs are met. The children in our family call the elders in our family "the great-greats". And one of our "great greats" has been living at Oakmont for more than eight years. At one point in time, we had three of our "great-greats" living in assisted living apartments there. It was wonderful to be able to visit them all at once and the staff got to know each of them very well. The staff has always been warm and welcoming - working to accommodate the various requests of so many family members coming to visit. They have arranged birthday parties (from colorful decorations, to delicious buffet meals for our extended family), cooking parties (we brought the ingredients to create an old family favorite with our "great-great") and they provided the space and refreshments for the work party, and during Covid they organized a drive-by car parade so that we could wave and share shout outs with our loved one. Last year we moved our "great-great" into Traditions, Oakmont's Memory Care facility. The same warm and compassionate care that our "great-great" experienced all those years in assisted living followed suit in memory care. Oakmont has a knack for choosing warm and knowledgeable staff who are willing to help in any way they can. But this is not an accident; I think it is a direct reflection of the warmth and competent oversight of their director, Patricia Holguin. She has shown a genuine concern for the well-being of the residents who call Oakmont home and she leads her staff to demonstrate this same commitment in their daily interactions with residents. The memory care unit has an additional layer of challenges and requires a special understanding of the needs of the residents in their care. I have learned a great deal from observing the way in which Nadya Rosales, the Director of Memory Care, and her staff interact with the memory care residents. They artfully provide activities, gentle guidance, and thoughtful distractions to support a positive environment for those in their care on a daily basis. There are many staff members that deserve recognition for their numerous acts of kindness in the service of our "great-great". I wish I could name them all here, but I hope they all know that they do very important work and are tremendously appreciated. When selecting a facility for the placement of our "great-great", we didn't understand that we would also be choosing a facility that could support us in coping with the challenges and complex emotions that accompany life's transitions. We lucked out - Oakmont surpassed our expectations and we are forever grateful!

people are very friendly haven't had problems with the employees they greet you everytime you visit, a few people I like to mention are Elain, Armando,Cameron and aron. if you have any concerns they check and take care of it. actually all the employees should be recognized.

I am writing on behalf of my Uncle, Henry (Jeff) Schuller. I am his nephew and closest family member and am actively involved in his care and his affairs. In the past my uncle has been very hard to please when it came to his living and care issues. Since he arrived at Atria, he has really been pleased and as his overseer I am also pleased with every aspect of the Facility. Special appreciation must go to Cameron Burgett. My 92 year old dad lived by him self in the California mountain town of Groveland. My once a week visits was not enough to assist in his physical and mental health. I started to notice him "slipping away". Living in Stockton I started looking for an Assisted Living Community for him to live at. I received several recommendations about Atria Bayside Landing from co-worker's who's relatives lived there . I took a tour of the community and fell in love with the atmosphere, the staff and how the residents spoke of their life there. Everyone was happy! I relocated my dad to Bayside Landing and in the short time he has been there I have seen him improve physically and mentally. He is a much happier man! He enjoys the food, activities, staff and neighbors at Bayside Landing. Thank You Atria!

My Parents are new members of the Atria Bayside Landing Family, Marcia & Gene and they are so happy and content and so well taken care of by all of the wonderful Staff. They are all nestled in their beautiful one bedroom apartment and just love it!! There is one Staff member that has in my opinion gone above and beyond the call of duty... Cameron Burgett you have made a very hard and emotional time for me and my family in moving my parents to Assisted Living, But you have made it so much easier and have put all my fears and uncertainties to rest. My parents are both living in a beautiful one-bedroom apartment. They are extremely happy with the community. I have asked them who they would like me to acknowledge as their favorite care givers.. They like them ALL, but to narrow it down... (very difficult) Maria ..wonderful!! Leah terrific!! Cameron.. so cute!! and very helpful and Elaine so happy at the front desk all the time..then there is Armando, Lisa, Angelica...all wonderful!! A+ to Atria Bayside Landing !! Thank you for making my parents so happy and content in their senior years!!
