I am extremely grateful for the exceptional care my grandma has received at Smith Ranch. From the moment we toured the facility, we were impressed by the clean, welcoming environment and the professionalism of the staff. The caregivers are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. They understand this can be a drastic change for the future resident and their family. My grandma's transition into the nursing home was smooth, and she has been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The nursing staff has been available and responsive to address any concerns and provide updates on my grandma's health. Same goes to the administration: they never left us hanging or looking for answers. I highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

2024 and I needed a place for a family member to get Physical therapy and Occupational therapy … So happy to have been able to have her placed here. The care is wonderful, and very respectful. Her insurance is Medicare and she will have PT & OT every weekday. When I was there years back I had wonderful care too. The physical therapy and OT are absolutely fabulous… The CNA's. are soo wonderful and as long as I am saying this…all the nurses are great too… What they do need is a separate room …besides the dining room to read…hang out etc… so many people just sit outside their rooms, in the hallway… Thank you Smith Ranch

They may try but their nursing skills leave much to be desired. Not treating UTIs in an elderly pt and causing him to almost die from urosepsis. Time and time again ignoring this pt's symptoms. Disgraceful!

This is my third time here in 5 years. Contrary to all the negative reviews i think it is great! Both PT and OT are excellent. the food is perfectly fine and the room attendants come quickly on most occasions. i honestly do not understand all of the one and two star reviews. it is a solid 4 and likely more like a 5. absolutely no complaints at all.The nurses, room attendants, and everyone else are friendly and attentive. do NOT believe the negative reviews. I find it hard to believe that any are grounded in reality.

Twice once after my back surgery for 28 days and I got exceptional care good occupation therapy very friendly people and I chose to go there a secondTime in 2018 the first time was in 2013 I would go back here as a first-choice.

Thank you, Smith Ranch! I finally got to take my mother home this last Friday after she was placed here to recover from her hip replacement surgery. The therapists got her up and moving faster than projected, and the nurses took exceptional care of her throughout her stay! My grandmother discharged home from Smith Ranch a week ago. She went there after surgery for a fractured hip. I cant say enough about the care she received. She became very close to a couple of CNAs and nurses. The physical therapists and occupational therapists were gentle but pushed her to do her best. Without them she wouldnt be home now. Her only complaint was that she didnt like a few of the meals that were made, but shes picky so I wont hold it against them. When it was time to for her to come home the case manager helped me get all the stuff that she would need at home. Overall, from her admission (which btw, the admission director was super helpful and knowledgeable) to discharge things went pretty smoothly. She said if she has to go back to a nursing home again it will be Smith Ranch.

Brought my grandfather home from Smith Ranch yesterday. He enjoyed his stay there. He liked the nurses, the therapists, and the nursing aides. He said everyone was very kind to him. This really meant a lot because I was so worried about him going to a nursing home, but Im just not capable of providing 24 hour care, which is what he needed. But after receiving therapy he can walk, shower and do most things on his own. He wasnt independent before he ended up in the hospital, and needed a lot of my help. Hes still not independent and will never be, but hes able to do so much more than before. Thank god for good physical and occupational therapists. Thank you Smith Ranch!

My mom is nearing the end of her stay at Smith Ranch. We were very worried about her going to a skilled nursing facility because of Covid and not being able to visit. Unfortunately we didnt have a choice because my husband and I both work and were unable to take care of her until she could walk again. So we chose Smith Ranch. We are beyond happy with her care and so is she. She was pleasantly surprised at how nice the nurses and CNAs treated her (shes old school and thought nursing homes were terrible places that people go to live forever). After her first day of therapy she called me and told me that her physical therapist and occupational therapist assured her she would be going home. Needless to say this motivated her to work hard and have a positive attitude about being there. Shes been there about 6 weeks and will be coming home next week. We were able to start visiting last week and I was able to meet one the nurses and CNAs that she speaks to highly of. Her only complaint was the tv size but it has all the channels she needs so she made it work. Thank you Smith Ranch for taking such good care of my mom.

This is the best rehab that Ive ever been to and Ive been to a few. The treatment, the people, and their mode of operation has really impressed me. Sadie, Ryan, Allen and the two Brendas have gone above and beyond treating me. All the rest of the staff is great too. The food could use a little tweaking but Its clean, its nicely presented. What more can I ask for? The service and the respect that they afford the patients is above and beyond.

Everybody has been so kind and nice to me here. It has made this long stay very special. I will miss everybody but I am very glad to be leaving after 8 months. I will always think kindly of everybody here.

Throughout my stay at Smith Ranch I have received excellent care, most especially in occupational and physical therapy. My programs were specifically tailored to my physical condition so that progress was consistent and met my goals. Staff were highly professional, caring and compassionate.

Best Rehab! PT, OT and speech in are very experienced and capable. Rehab staff has been the same for over 10 years great fun and friendly group of therapist. My mom was able to to return home by herself after 2 weeks.
