Reports of horrible food continue for over a year from multiple residents High staff turnover. Poor internet corrections that don't reach every room that are included in rent and poor cell service. Understaffed transportation for residents that is included in rent. Despite reporting these things to every manager that has come through in almost two years the problems persist and the cost continues to increase.

We toured the Atria facility today with Karolina for the purpose of sharing with family members our impressions of the facility and whether or not this place would be suitable and affordable for Mom. We were initially opposed to the idea of placement in a memory care facility since she currently lives with us. However, family members pointed out that we need to research other options should we no longer be able to care for her. We peppered Karolina with questions and she was thoroughly prepared to cover every aspect. She made us feel comfortable as she showed us around and introduced us to staff members. We were impressed at the longevity of the staff members there and their willingness to talk about their positive approach to their work. In addition we found the activity and dining rooms to be clean, bright, and cheery. We have definitely changed our opinion of what a care homes can be. As first impressions go, we would give it 5 stars.

Karolina was such a kind and supporting person to work with while I explored options for my dad's care! It can be overwhelming trying to place a parent in assisted living, but Karolina's caring and informed support from my very first encounter, through numerous phone calls, and ultimate decision made the experience so much better. She took me through a detailed tour and I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how many have been there for a very long time and seemed to really enjoy their work. The environment is thoughtful, rooms are wonderfully staged, and the setting by the creek is beautiful. During the tour we even had we even had some residents come up and share fun stories with us. There are many factors in choosing and being admitted to assisted living and ultimately Atria Evergreen didn't work out for my dad, but I’m so grateful for Karolina’s support throughout the process and I highly recommend anyone considering it to get in touch with Karolina to learn more.

One of the hardest decisions we had to make was moving our aunt into senior living care. However, once she moved into Atria Evergreen Valley and we saw the transformation in her lifestyle and happiness, we knew we had made the right decision and chosen the perfect community for her. Atria’s staff are well-trained and very accommodating of our aunt’s needs. She says the meals are delicious, she feels fresh and well cared for from being bathed regularly, her room is well-maintained and clean, and she enjoys the wide variety of daily activities with her new friends and staff. Unlike before, she now takes far fewer naps during the day, and everyone there knows her by name. She is truly well taken care of. We appreciate the peace of mind that comes from knowing she’s safe while we manage our busy work and family lives. It’s definitely a five-star community! By the way, we’re currently in the process of moving our other 85-year-old aunt into Atria Evergreen Valley as well.

The staff at Atria Evergreen Valley are so warm and friendly. Rachel from sales was so helpful and considerate when explaining room options and the application process to us. She really made my mother, my sisters and I feel at ease with this very difficult move. JR from maintenance patiently listened to our requests for my mother’s new room and addressed all of them immediately. We have toured other places in the Bay Area and like Atria Evergreen Valley the best. Not only are the staff all friendly but the residents really made my non-English speaking mother feel welcomed. It is a wonderful place!

The staff and residents at Atria Evergreen Valley make it a great place. Everyone from management to facilities is sincere and kind. There is always a warm greeting from both staff and resident when we cross paths. I appreciate the staff making time to listen to all my concerns about my mom. They also are pro-active in reaching out to me when there is a concern. The place is also very well maintained, clean and new with lots of light. My dad moved here last year. Atria Evergreen Valley was the first place we toured. From the initial meeting and tour with Rachelle we were impressed with the facility, the staff and the food. We toured multiple other facilities, and nothing compared to the warm feelings we felt when we were at Atria Evergreen Valley-it felt like "home". Dad moved in last summer and has been living his best life, has many new friends, attends exercise classes and multiple other activities such as ceramics, art, blackjack, poker, and bingo. One of the other things we liked about Atria is it offered the flexibility of being in an independent living apartment that could flex with him as needs change to an assisted living apartment, where he is allowed to stay in his "home". Thank you Atria, for taking care of Dad!

I took a trip back to my homeland San Jose to help my sister-in-law and niece view options for my other niece who now needs to move to an Assited Living Property. I felt that Evergreen would most probably be the least favorite of my choices. I was totally blown away for a number of reasons: 1) From meeting the very friendly young lady at the front desk who greeted us while answering the phone 2) Rachelle was totally organized in her presentation 3) The property was in great shape, and with their location on a fairly busy street, as Rachelle indicated in our phone conversation, there was no street noise even if in a room on the street 4) All of the staff that we came into contact with were very friendly and acknowledge not only the 3 of us but also all of the residents that they came into contact with. 5) From my professional history, I checked every area shown to us (or not shown to us) for the detail of cleanliness and they passed the test. Evergreen is definitely a property to consider as a new home for anyone in need of making that critical change to assisted living.

The residence is very clean and well managed and there are numerous activities throughout the day. Further, they are open to residents organizing new activities to suit their interests. My father is new to living at Atria. After 60 years living in his own home it was a big transition for him to move. The process for us to find a place for him was long, and we met over 6 months at various times with Atria Evergreen. They were always welcoming and accommodating tomy father; until he was finally ready to move. And when that time came to move in, the management team at Atria Evergreen did everything they could to make it easy for him. And now ... he couldn't be happier. When searching for a safe, clean, friendly and enjoyable residence for your senior loved one it is very stressful and worrisome. The day we walked in to tour Atria Evergreen was the day I was able to have peace and security knowing that my 96 year old grandfather would be more than taken care of in an assisted living setting. He would be happy, well cared for, and respected as an individual. In the last year that my grandfather has lived at Atria Evergreen I have been more than pleased with all staff. They all have a cheerful, welcoming smile at all times of day and night. They are quick to be of any and all help we may ask them for and are always able to answer any questions I may have. My grandfather has been caught telling others about the top notch, first class place he lives! He thoroughly enjoys the outings, the activities, the friendships of all his kind neighbors, and most of all the poker he plays (and wins)! He is always excited to tell us what he ate for his meals and desserts. He never complains so it must be good! I can not say enough about the entire staff and residents of Atria. The residents are also a big part in my grandfathers happiness! Everyone is so friendly and they all seem to really care for each other. My grandfather feels as if they are all family to him. I also would like to mention how great Jett has been in the care of not only my grandfather but the work he has done at Atria. He is so kind, generous, caring, and dedicated. It’s not often you see someone in his position that is so involved and invested in all his residents well being and happiness. His dedication to his job is absolutely admirable. He truly feels for his residents and family and will do everything he can to make sure his staff, his residents, and their families are happy. I am more than pleased with the excellent care my grandfather is receiving at Atria Evergreen! We are so lucky to be a part of the Atria Evergreen family!

Moving my mom into a memory care facility (at the Atria) was extremely traumatic for both her and me. My mom was miserable being torn away from her beloved and familiar old home and I was wracked with guilt and stress for taking her away from it. Even though I felt it was the right decision, it was a very, very rough adjustment as we struggled to settle my mom into her new home. The wonderful Atria staff to the rescue!!! Jett Cabuena (Executive Director) and his staff recognized that my mom and I were overwhelmed and jumped in to suggest some strategies that might help us adjust to life at the Atria. Yes, the facility is just lovely with elegant d©cor and beautifully maintained, with game rooms, a theater, a hair salon, an ice cream parlor (my mom's favorite), and more! And although all of that is wonderful, it was the loving and caring staff who was there for my mom and me during a very difficult adjustment, answering every question and calming every fear that confirmed to me that I had made the right decision in placing my mother in their care. My mom has settled in well and she is treated with kind wonderful care every day with focused attention on learning about her as a person to better cater to her personal likes and needs. I cannot thank the staff at Atria (each and every one!) for all they have done and continue to do to make sure my mother is happy, comfortable, and most of all SAFE!!

Atria of Evergreen Valley stands out amongst many others my Family toured, prior to moving Dad here. The community areas such as the library, game room ice cream social room are inviting. The dining is a wonderful setting and a great social environment. Top marks especially to the care staff who all are attentive , friendly and always "there" when needed. Nice touch is the wall of pictures honoring Veterans Holidays are also special at Atria as the staff throws BBQ's too!

Before Atria this was Regency of Evergreen Valley, and it was a great place. After Atria took over, things have only gotten better. The kitchen has been upgraded and the food has improved. All the caregivers are very helpful to the residents: in every capacity (service desk, maintenance, bus driver, activities coordinators, etc...). The executive director, Jett, is very much in touch with all the residents and he has led his staff to make this community a truly great environment for seniors. Thanks to the staff, I have no worries. I know my mom is happy and well taken care of. Thank you all for that.
