Our experience with Savant of Jurupa Valley was extremely disappointing. Both of my parents were residents here, and we ultimately made the difficult decision to move them out due to ongoing concerns about their care and safety. The facility appeared to be consistently understaffed, which affected the quality of care they were able to provide. Communication was also very poor. We frequently sent messages with questions or concerns and often received no response at all. There were multiple incidents where both of my parents fell while being assisted with transfers between their wheelchairs and a bed or another chair. This was very concerning, especially since they were supposed to be receiving assistance. My mother's call pendant was broken and remained nonfunctional for a week, leaving her unable to call for help when she needed it. During that same period, she was left sitting in a soiled diaper for more than four hours before anyone attended to her. In addition, we observed that soiled linens were not handled according to proper protocols, raising concerns about hygiene and infection control. Throughout our time at the facility, we raised our concerns with the executive team, including [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]. Unfortunately, our messages often went unanswered, and our concerns were never meaningfully addressed. When we made the decision to move both of my parents out of Savant of Jurupa Valley, no one from the leadership team reached out to ask why we were leaving, discuss our concerns, or acknowledge the issues we had experienced. That lack of communication and accountability was deeply disappointing. We understand that caregiving can be challenging, but families trust assisted living facilities to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at Savant of Jurupa Valley, and I cannot recommend this facility based on the care my parents received. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements for the well-being, dignity, and safety of its residents.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Savant Senior Living “ Jurupa Valley. As a marketer with Home Instead, I visit many senior communities, and every time I come here, I’m genuinely impressed. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth”every single time I visit, the seniors look happy, engaged, and truly cared for, and that speaks volumes about the culture of this community. A huge shout-out to Charlene in sales. She is absolutely amazing”professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She makes families feel comfortable and supported during what can be a very emotional decision, and you can tell she truly has residents’ best interests at heart. I also want to recognize Sophia, who is always so helpful and consistently provides excellent service. She goes above and beyond, and her kindness and attentiveness never go unnoticed. It’s clear that this team truly cares, and it shows in the environment they create and the smiles on the residents’ faces. Savant Jurupa Valley is a beautiful example of what senior living should be, and I’m always happy to visit and collaborate with such an outstanding community.

I live nearby and my granduncle lives at Savant of Jurupa Valley. He uses a wheelchair, and I’ve been very impressed with the level of care and attention he receives. The team is patient, responsive, and genuinely kind. Marc, the Executive Director, and Danielle are both very involved and approachable, and it shows in how well the community is run. Debbie, the Activities Director, does an amazing job keeping residents engaged and included, regardless of mobility level. As a family member, it’s reassuring to see leadership present and residents treated with dignity and respect. We’ve had a very positive experience.

I can’t thank Charlene enough for the incredible care and support she provided during our transition to the assisted living facility for my mom. My grandma has been at Savant since 2023. We absolutely ADORE all of the staff and are so grateful to each and every one of them who provide such loving, genuine care to Janet. From the med techs, to caregivers, to dining room staff, and front desk/activities - all of them treat her with such kindness and compassion. Liz and Audrey are always willing to answer all of my anxious texts/emails and never make me feel like I’m a bother. It’s always hard leaving a vulnerable family member in anyone’s care but I am able to sleep at night because I know she’s in excellent hands. They caught that she was having a heart attack and sent her out immediately, which I’m sure saved her life. Janet was also telling me about the sweet girl who was reading her Bible to her to keep her calm and how there were so many people loving on me and helping me when I was scared - I’m not sure who exactly it was or who was in there with her but it made me cry that she was treated like she was their grandmother and that she felt safe and loved. Thank you all times infinity!!

my name is BRANDON KIMBLE, i was a resident of this facility in early-mid 2024..........i had a heel injury & was sent to the hospital & when it was time for me to be discharged, the hospital staff told me that they would be sending me elsewhere BECAUSE SAVANT HAD TOSSED ME OUT(without previous knowledge, clarification OR comprehension of WHY)..........let me face THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM first:..........THE TYRANNICAL, MEAN-SPIRITED, "TOO BUSY FOR ANYBODY BUT HIMSELF, UNLESS ITS TO GIVE BAD NEWS TO YOU"..........:.....PATRICK..........MANY TIMES i would go to him for CLARIFICATION & COMPREHENSIONS of life & living at SAVANT & it was either HALF-HEARTED ANSWERS.....OR..........in his own very rude n snarly way, walk away from you while given a smartassed halfassed answer,OH, & BEFORE I FORGET..........i called MAAAAAAANY times to retrieve my personal items there FOR MONTHS..........UNTIL, i was told that, "WELL YOUR ITEMS ARE GONE, WE ONLY KEEP THEM FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME & THEN DISCARD THEM(i had IRREPLACEABLE FAMILY PHOTOS & A BASEBALL I HAD RECEIVED FROM THE FAMILY THAT WAS MY DAD's)..........TOSSED AWAY?????, ARE YOU SERIOUS?????HE, HIMSELF gets -100..........let me slide over to the activities ladies: SWEETHEARTS, GREAT COMMUNICATORS, they see a great idea from residents, they implement it AUTOMATICALLY(karaoke, lol)..........VERY GENEROUSLY, i might add, they helped me get to my "step"dad's burial at riverside national.....AAAND convinced(slick-talked me into) covering saturday bible for my duration there(with assistance from "THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE").....i miss them so much..........& as apprehensive as i was about going into a new place, my reputation having preceived me..........RESIDENTS became FRIENDS that i WILL NEVER FORGET..........AAAND the morning staff of ANGELS (nurses) that took such GREAT CARE OF ME to make sure i GOT OUT OF bed(so i wouldnt be depressed)..........MY NIGHT NURSE BRENDA she was 100% OUT OF THIS WORLD EXTRA SPECIAL ANGEL WHO ALSO CARRIES THAT "EXTRA SPECIAL PLACE" in my heart..........i REFUSE to let ONE BAD APPLE spoil the whole bunch..........PLEASE dont insult my intelligence & give a generic nonsensical & BS response to my first comment, as it was MY truth..........

This place is very under staffed. My mother in law is always waiting 5+ hours to be changed. They never answer the call light or the front desk phone. She had mice in her room for months before they put a trap in her room. The mice were on the bed crawling on her. I can go on and on. Please do not move in here!

We worked with Kenny to get my father in law situated here. We came across them through A Place for Mom and are we ever grateful for this place and for Kenny! I tirelessly called several dozen places to find an assisted living that could take care of my father in law and work within his tight budget. It’s been quite the process and Kenny went above and beyond in every area. I made the initial call and within the hour he was able to get back to me and share what Villa De Anza had to offer. He worked closely to help us find a way to make things work within the tight budget my father in law was working with. Kenny helped work with all the moving parts (and there were a lot of them!) to make things seem seemless. He worked with the case worker and social worker at the hospital and even when the hospital discharged him before things seemed fully in place (that’s a story on its own), Kenny worked his magic to get things set up. We had a unique situation where we relocated Ronnie from Northern California to Riverside and he didn’t have a whole lot of things to move with him. Kenny found a way to get his room set up so it felt like home when he arrived. We literally cannot thank him enough for all the work he’s done. My father in law was in the hospital since April of last year - it’s been a long journey, and now we’re confident with him at Villa De Anza. We know he didn’t have to do a lot of what he did - but man are we thankful ! I hope this falls into the right hands of recognizing just how amazing Kenny was and is!
