If you're close to retire age and living off your social security, this may work for you. I've been here for 4 years in April. I hated my firat 2 years here. Management had poor control over the building. Too many junkies. Homeless drug addicted woman sneak in to find a resident with the same habits. They've been flying under the radar for a while. Our current management has made significant changes with out community. We no longer have smoking on our property. We've seen several problematic residents evicted. No one wants to live next door to a tweaker who brings druggies off the street into our building.. Crazy 60 + year old seniors and they're still hitting hard drugs. The building is solid. It's beautifully maintained with a new and improved management office. Our current building manager has flipped this place, showing its true potential. There are studios and one bedrooms. AC and heating included with your rent. We have a small gym, a spacious community room and a library on the 16 floor with a panoramic view of Downtown Riverside. We are next to White Park that holds so many festiviites. I had to be patient. It was worth waiting for. There is a 2 year waitng list. Fill your application out early and see what comes your way.

The age restriction has been lifted for people coming off drugs, out of jail and homeless. They bring in more homeless, "possibly" sell drugs, and bring criminal activity to our building. I have been threatened, confronted people "possibly" selling and using drugs right outside my door. I have cleaned up human waste off my stairwell, rinsed it off our sidewalk, and let management know the was some more in the a bucket, by the door, in which they use to block open to let other non-residents in. It can be scary sometimes.

My father lives here, every time I've gone to visit the premises have been clean and tidy. Staff has always been welcoming and courteous. During the past 48 hours I could not reach my Dad so I called the main phone number. They did a wellness check and were able to locate him. I really appreciate the staff for doing that. Thank you.

I moved here June 6,22 n so far most of my neighbors are pleasant n gladly gave me furniture for my empty studio apt. So far all is good some nosey bad souls here that lie on people they don't like for no reason at all n work hard in having them kicked out of the complex I'm immobile n all I do is sit quietly and watch all the chaos they do to them but I stay away they don't know I'm watching n it's fine n dandy cuz I don't want to be on their bad side, they are mean, n have spiteful lying ways . Some past employees were like that and stil are being used these IHSS worker's for back up n they will hook them up with more people that don't have providers, Unless someone ask me personally if I know who went to the manager so they can defend themselves I won't get involved. I report when I see wrong; because I want to live in a safe gated community especially since I'm disabled and wheelchair stuck. I like Robert in maintenance He is a hard worker, n gets to the problem very fast, actually he is the only one that I know, see working.

I wrote a comment earlier this year this is not an assistant living. it's an apartment building through housing. I live in a studio and it's very clean and it's gated community. the staff is really friendly and helpful for one person she works in the front now. even my grandkids don't like to go come and see her. she's kind of rude. she doesn't even say good morning. at least not to me. they're very picky of who they like and who they don't like and trust me they make sure you know it and that's not something I need since I'm sick most of the time and bedridden. I just wish you wasn't rude to my grandkids. they don't like coming around her. that's not good cuz they usually do my little store runs and all that people are friendly except for the people that have lived here a while. they treat other people. very mean they talk about you. they gossip a lot and I'm too old to be got. you know gossiping want to live my rest of my life peaceful and I'll probably going to get retaliated on because I wrote this comment on certain lady cuz she likes to goss up with the other people that live here. she's not supposed to. she's an employee talk about others that live here cuz she sees what she sees and she does because when I first moved here I see here all the time just to do her work and not be mean to people or don't work around people especially as seniors. we're very sensitive because we're mostly always sick okay thank you and if I get kicked out you know why I'm writing this review.

This place is well kept, clean and quiet. There is a grass area outside the sliding glass entrance with a designated smoking area. However this place is housing to seniors and disabled people and unfortunately the management is very strict. You have to escort your guests on the grounds, they can only stay with you for 14 days per year. The residents are very nosey and turn their nose at you if you're new or a stranger. The post several activities throughout the month for the residents to participate in. The views on both the East and West sides of the building are incredible. I have several friends who live there, which I visit pretty often. Oh the kitchen is poorly laid out. There are no drawers for your utensils etc. With minimal cabinetry. They have a laundry room and a few organizations bring food monthly. Also the Dale's Senior center is right behind the building.

We have homeless people jumping our gates or just pulling hard on one "secure" Broken) gate and coming in. Our security ( if one is there) have been caught sleeping on multiple occasions. No housekeeping on weekends so our elevators and lobby's are usually very dirty. Spills are not cleaned up until Mon We have had no front desk person in months. They have locked down the office and ask to make an appt to talk to management. The studio apts are very small in my opinion. Just two weekends ago 3 members of management used the residents transport bus to go out to eat but have not resumed resident shopping trips I would tell any of my friends or family to try and find a different housings location. If I could move I would. I do appreciate having HUD helping me have a roof over my head tho
