My mom lived at Copper Ridge during COVID, the most frustrating period for all of us. Surprisingly, her continence improved with the consistent caring staff. There were no rotations and she was able to really get to know her caregivers, and they knew her well. At the time she passed, I think she was their longest resident, five years! When there were problems, (and there were!) the staff and administration were so respectful and responsive. I visited very frequently (even with my dog), and was always welcomed; some of the residents and staff became like family.

I wanted to compliment the staff at copper ridge. My mother is there and the attention she is given and the care she's given is a huge piece of mind. Our family is more than greatful of the care and attention she receives. In all honesty, I am absolutely bias as my mom is the best mom ever and no place is good enough for my mom. But, having said that, I do know that the reality is that she can't have someone standing over her for her every move 24hrs a day. However, the nurses and cna's are more than caring and attentive to my mom. No one is perfect but,overall this staff is pretty great. Britney, Roxanne, Nissan, Amanda and Cathy go above and beyond. I can't name all of those who take care of mom as remembering names is not something I'm any good at. Thank you to all the staff that helps take care of the best and sweetest mom ever!! Sandi Hall

They take the time to know each resident by name, forging meaningful connections that are rooted in trust and respect. What sets Copper Ridge apart is the exceptional dedication of every team member. The nursing staff provides personalized, attentive care, and they never hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure residents feel at home. The activities department is also a standout, offering an array of creative and engaging activities that enrich the lives of the residents daily. One of my personal favorites is the "Around the World" experience, where residents are immersed in the culture of various countries through music, educational presentations, and a beautifully themed meal that includes decor in the dining room. Additionally, the seasonal decorations throughout the halls bring joy and a sense of celebration to the entire facility. Everyone here takes immense pride in their role, and it truly shows in the quality of care delivered. I was at this location, for almost 2 years and they did their best, very professional in treading me with the rehab, Issues that I had and with the infections in which, trust me, It was a lot. If I ever needed to return 4 further rehab or something else. This would be the first place I would look at, again very professional, very friendly from the top to the bottom

My mom was in rehab at Copper Ridge from Nov 2023-Feb 2024. I am pleased to say she is doing well and living independently with IHSS help and truly this would not have been a possibility had it not been for the wonderful care she received. The Physical/Occupational Therapy Dept was exceptional, they truly went the extra mile on several occasions and in different ways to make her not only feel special but encouraged in the most positive of ways to get better. We would like to give individual recognition to Mike and Curt & Ashley - they are excellent therapists. There were so many Nurses and CNA's who took great care of her and we want to thank you all, but are sorry to say we have forgotten many of your names though we will never forget the care and concern you showed. Trevor & Holly were nurses who went above and beyond. Through her contracting covid and everything else there were fantastic girls who delivered the daily bread paper every day which was such a blessing. Her CNA's were all so fantastic and we would like to say a special thank you to Blake and Zane who made sure she was taken care of with utmost respect and Denya whose kindness and exceptional care made her feel like family. Thank you everyone.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the ability to reach Copper Ridge after the hour of about 5 p.m. if I can't call and check on my mom at the end of the day to see how she's doing when she is already confused and upset I don't like it.. more evenings than not the phone either gets answered and they put you on hold indefinitely and then you get hung up on - or you call and the phone just rings and rings with no one answering.. the business hours are supposed to be 24 hours, on top of not being able to reach someone when you call the visiting restrictions are becoming so ridiculous that it's not doing the patients any good, they're already scared and confused and then they can't see their loved ones except twice a week, with an appt... IF they're vaccinated, boosted and tested... I am my mom's advocate, a lot of things are not getting done unless I'm calling and checking on her care constantly and it's tough to be someones advocate when you have little to no contact with them due to all the restrictions placed upon us.

I'm becoming increasingly wary of this place the longer my loved one is in here. Due to Covid you cannot visit without making an appt, which means you play phone tag with a woman who has multiple jobs so isn't always available to take a call. Then there is the fact that once you do arrive for your scheduled meeting you will usually wait around ten to fifteen minutes to actually see your loved one. Why make an appt if they won't have them ready?? What's the actual point of making the appt? You will pull teeth before a dr will see your loved one, and once again due to Covid administration has found the perfect solution of paying one person to do the job of three, so they make money, the staff becomes overworked and overwhelmed and your loved ones care suffers. They lost my loved ones clothes. All of them. As in took the laundry and then just lost it and it was a too bad so sad situation. I'm trying to stay upbeat, I'm trying to keep my love one upbeat but when someone is being taken care of by an overworked and under scheduled staff, you get sub par care. I think this place fell prey to Covid greed and everyone but the owners have suffered. Also expecting humans to be grateful for two showers a week is horrid. Why don't I take the staff and only let them bathe twice in seven days and have them tell me how "standard practice " that is.

My grandma has been here about 7 years. The staff does a great job, my grandma is cared for, but parking is the worst. Parking is so minimal and rarely are there openings in their very small lot, and all surrounding establishments; banks and other offices that dont ever utilize their parking, threaten to tow you, for visiting your grandma. Its a big issue, if you can't park, visitations go down. Not beneficial to the people who have their loved ones there and always been my main complaint. Its frustrating.
