I moved into Pacifica Poway two weeks ago. It was a pleasant experience. The apartment is spacious, the food is tasty, and more importantly the staff members are caring and thoughtful. I feel like I now have a home away from home.

Everyone here is so friendly!! It all started when we met Joanne, she set the tone that has continued months into living here. Joanne went above and beyond helping us find the right unit and ensuring our on boarding was top class. The entire staff has continued to exceed expectations and the residents are nothing but welcoming!

Took a tour today, as we were investigating if we might move there. The apartment was very nice, clean and move-in ready. The amenities were nice, but a bit dated. However, a remodeling project is coming in the next few weeks. We enjoyed a nice lunch and talked with Joanne about the pricing. We are very excited about the possibility of making Pacifica, Poway, our new home.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facility was very clean and did not smell. The rooms were a good size.

The staff is attentive and friendly. The management of this facility does not operate into the best interest of its residents. They have been without water from 10am and it might be working by tomorrow. Issues arise - that's understandable but do the right thing and bring in cases of water for the residents . You hold community meetings - and the residences concerns fall on deaf ears.

As an outside a provider of supplemental services to Senior Living Communities throughout San Diego. I can honestly say that Executive Director Cameron Azemikhah and his team do a stellar job in creating a welcoming and caring environment for senior to thrive and enjoy their senior years.

Executive Director Cameron Azemikhah has made my mom's transition to assisted living easy and pleasant. Cameron was very helpful and patient as we looked at different units and toured the facility and answered each and every one of our questions genuinely and with patience. Cameron continues to be very helpful and supportive in any and all of our needs. Skip has been amazing getting my mom to classes, checking on her, keeping her spirits high. The med techs are great and very pleasant. Great facility!!!!!

Executive Director Cameron Azemikhah And activities director skip continually go out of their way to make my mom feel welcome, respected and cared for. They create a welcoming, inclusive environment. From an administrative perspective, Cameron has been so flexible in accommodating my mom and her needs, whether it be painting her room, fixing her A/C, allowing her to move rooms, dispose of an old bed…great people.

I am very impressed with Pacifica Senior Living. From the staff to the maintance and the communication behind the scenes. I have had my mother in other facilities and know the difference between good and bad. This property is well kept, the kitchen is always clean and the staff very attentive. I definately give them a 5 star. and mom is happy here.

Whenever I visit I am always pleased with how nice and pleasant it is. The grounds are always well kept and clean which is a plus for me and my family. The staff is always friendly and helpful too. If anyone is considering Pacifica, I would make it my first choice.

My mother has been at The Gateway (independent living) for 4 years now and is glad that she chose this place. She repeatedly tells us, her daughters, that she is very happy here. When I visit her I find the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The menu selections in the dining room and the waitstaff are awesome! Due to Bingo, Poker, Bridge, and special events we have a hard time making contact with her! She is always out doing something!

Ive been at the Gateway for 9 yrs now, the staff is friendly and helpful and treat all residents with respect and compassion. Residents are active and happy to live here and thats one of the reasons why Ive stayed so long!

I wish I could give 5 stars for the caring and compassion of the dedicated staff of care givers. They are so committed to each of the residents. Unfortunately, the management and systems are not as they should be. Language and accents are difficult. Assistance is under-staffed and care givers are over worked. Menu and meal choice in assisted living is only barely passable. Activities and enrichment is minimal. High staff turnover and lax supervision complicates the consistency of care.
