I can't recommend an Assisted Living home more than the Carlton on Pleasant Hill Road. The vibe is about happy people. Busy socializing, game playing, and dining. The environment is welcoming and cheery. The staff helped my mother through her end of life process with such dignity and care it was amazing. Our entire family could not say enough about the staff. If you have a loved one that needs to move from being on their own to a place that welcomes them and respects them please check out the Carlton on Pleasant Hill road.

My father was at the Pleasant Hill-Martinez location for about a year. Throughout his time there, I was always so impressed with the quality of care he received, whether it was high or low need. From the med tech team to the caregivers to the restaurant staff, I will never forget how they cared for him - not just on a needs level but on a deeper personal level. He also loved the food which was so important to him and a difficult feat 🙂 Near the time of his passing, everyone met us with an amazing amount of support and warmth. I couldn't have imagined a better place for my father during his final phase of life. Forever grateful.

The Staff at Carlton Senior Living are absolutely wonderful. They are kind, courteous, and extremely caring. Every need is quickly addressed and handled with care and each residents' health and safety is paramount. With every visit to see our relative, we are greeted with a smile, addressed by name, and feel at home. Could not have found a better place for the care for our relative and highly recommend Carlton Senior Living.

All I can say is WOW! Amazing service! My 73 year old mother has been living at Carlton Senior Living for about a year now. Our entire family has been so overwhelmed by the warmth, consideration and kindness of the staff. My mother always talks about the front desk staff and how sweet they are to her. One front desk worker, named 'Roxanna' makes her day daily. My mom always makes remarks about how kind, helpful and loving the staff is. My mom loves all the options of things she can do while living there. There are so many activities she participates in. I would definitely recommend this as an option for anyone who has a parent who is elderly that wants a change of scenery.

My pa-in-law is 98 and lives there now. He considers it jail or prison. He complains about the food and it is true that he never gets fresh veggies or salad. Staff seems friendly and approachable.

My grandma lived here for nine years and I can't remember her ever being happier. She past away many years ago but the memories I have of her during the holidays are some I will cherish forever. Thank you guys for doing such a sincere and heartfelt job. Seniors are very lucky to have such wonderful care... I wish it for everyone...

My father had the pleasure of living in Carlton SL Pleasant Hill prior to our move to Arizona this month. The Carlton team is excellent in every aspect of creating a safe and enjoyable living environment for their residents. My father always mentioned how friendly the staff is/was and that he knew they really cared about his well being. Kudos to Carlton!! You have built and maintained a wonderful "brand". Keep doing what you are doing!! I would highly recommend Carlton to any person(s) seeking an environment where all of their needs can be met and where the staff works very hard to maintain and healthy and happy community. Thank you Carlton Team - my father is happy thus far in his new community here in AZ; my wife and I chose it because it seemed to embrace and promote the same value system as Carlton. My 93 year old father has been living at Chateau Pleasant Hill since Spring 2013. Our entire family has been so impressed by the warmth, consideration and care my father has received since living there. My dad always remarks about how kind, efficient and patient the staff is. Dad really enjoys the variety of food, activities and exercise classes he participates in. He has made some good friends and has been able to share his love for music by playing his accordion at various activities. Our family is so pleased that Dad has a safe, healthy place to live. In the last few months, the administrative staff has really gone out of their way to help him with an apartment move. All was done quickly, with no delays and we were supported all the way. I enjoy visiting several times a week and have always been treated like part of the family. Everyone is cheerful and eager to help me with anything I may need. I always feel confident that my father is in good hands! Thank you for being such a great senior facility!!

I may fall short of words to express my great appreciation to Carlton. The service is top-notch in everything taking care of your people, getting them engaged in regular healthy activities, and helping them build a positive, independent sense of control. I have had a couple of experiences with this center and I must admit nobody can ever match the wits with this one in town. Kudos!

Very courteous and friendly staff people at Carlton! We have our uncle here for his Alzheimer care and trust me; this place has done wonders for him. Absolutely grateful although he still misses certain things but I am more than happy to see him better so much! These guys have seriously bettered his condition make sure that hes taking participation in every other little activity and of course, running around the clock to assist him. Glad, truly glad!

I can't thank much you guys for caring and loving my mother just like family. She never wanted to be in an assisted living. And in some ways, we had given up any hopethat her condition will improve. Our GP had already advised her to stay in an assisted living, as she was not fit to be left alone at home. But with the expert guidance of the manager at Chateau Pleasant Hill, this big transition was like a cake walk for us. These guys are taking good care of her, just like family. Thanks a lot!

We can see significant improvements in my mothers memory and see her health getting better and better with each passing day. There are five CSL communities that render inclusive memory care for people suffering from dementia. Ensconced, secure areas have a private courtyard too to help treat dementia-related challenges better. My mother is getting better nothing could ever mean more than this. Very generous staff people! Went here a while ago to inquire about a couple of things and well, they were so very warm and kind. It felt so great like seriously, all you need is real people treating with oodles of warmth to melt your heart away. Thats what Carlton has got! Very nice!
