I have the pleasure of visiting the Atria weekly as I have a family member that lives there. From the moment you walk in, not only is it extremely clean but there are always beautiful flowers on the table, everyone that works there is exceptionally kind, caring, loving gracious, easy to talk to and an overall fantastic place. Christina goes above and beyond to make every resident feel comfortable, they have a really good time! She offers daily activities that are so much fun, from going to see a movie, having jewelry class, playing bingo everyday, providing the most incredible entertainment for every holiday, seasonal activities, she oversees just about everybody! She is so kind and so loving, if I could give them 10 Stars I would! All of the residents get along so well, as I mentioned, the place is extremely clean the dining room is always beautiful, if you're looking for a place to retire and enjoy the rest of your life this is the place to go! Today I got to experience a movie with Christina and some of the residents and it was so much fun, I can't wait to go again, they invite family and friends to all of the activities making the experience so much more intimate and pleasurable. Thank you Atria for taking such great care of my sister thank you for taking care of all the residents and thank you Christina for all your hard work and everything you do on a daily basis! The difference in attitude and service on dining room since we arrived in February has changed remarkably for the better. Staff is kind caring and professional things that have made a difference 1.written orders are taken 2. We no longer have to beg for water 3. We want to thank you all for the wonderful support and care that you provided to our 100 year young Aunt. Your Red Carpet Welcome Event was a wonderful and memorable experience. You all were so patient, caring, kind and made for our Aunt a peaceful, comfortable and compassionate experience. Knowing she was in such caring and capable hands put us at ease. The entire staff’s professionalism and patience exceeded all of our expectations. On a scale of One to Five, you are all 10’s. On our many visits to Attia, we saw and witnessed many smiling faces of other residents and were 100% always greeted by the staff. Atria Palm Desert is such amazing community. My mother in law has been there almost 2 years now and is thriving. We are welcome to come visit day or night and are often invited to family events. The food is wonderful and there are lots of choices. The administrator Cheree is hands on and very responsive to any situation that may arise. I recommend this facility to anyone looking. If I ever need assisted living I hope they have room for me.

My Grandma is resident at Atria Palm Desert, and has thoroughly enjoyed her time her. The staff is also so pleasant to her, they are very patient with her and her conditions. Our 91 year old Mother has been living at Atria Palm Desert for almost 18 months. She is very content. The rooms are spacious and she really enjoys her patio and outdoor space. The staff is very kind to her and believe me she can be quite difficult at times. We were quickly contacted when she took a tumble and needed to see a doctor. We are thankful for all they do looking after our Mom as we are all in different states.

The staff at Atria really care about their residents. Christina is very helpful and always smiling. Ashley and Tabatha are especially caring and loving towards my mother and give her great care. Marie, at the front desk is thorough and very personable. Maria, in housekeeping is as helpful and sweet as she can be. There are always activities for the residents. I'm glad my mother is at Atria.

Atria Palm Desert has been a true blessing for our family. From the directors to the frontline staff, every single person there delivers excellent, compassionate service. My dad is genuinely happy living there, something I didn’t expect as he was never very social, especially in recent years. Since moving to Atria Palm Desert, he’s become more active and engaged than I’ve seen him in a long time. He enjoys outings to new restaurants, participates in activities like bingo, and even joins community events. There’s a driver who takes him to appointments and shopping when needed, which has been incredibly helpful. One thing that really gives me peace of mind is the responsiveness of the management team. Anytime I have a question or concern, they get back to me immediately and take it seriously. I’ve seen such a positive change in my dad it’s truly heartwarming. We are beyond grateful for the care, community, and joy that Atria Palm Desert has brought into his life. Thank you to the amazing staff and residents for making this place feel like home. We moved my mom into Atria in April after living independently until she was almost 92. From the moment you walk in, everything is immaculate and everyone has a smile and warm greeting. Noticeable immediately when we toured was that the residents all seemed happy. My mom settled in nicely, not being much of a joiner she was encouraged to take yoga, exercise classes, join bingo and reluctantly went only to come to look forward to those things. She loves the food, and the staff. Everyone knew her name within a few days, and her dog’s name. Through a difficult few weeks for my mom including multiple ER visits, the staff stepped up in ways I wouldn’t have expected. Right down to hand delivering her left behind hearing aides to the hospital. Caring for her dog in her absence. This is our second experience with assisted living, and hands down I wish we had moved my father here when it was his time. I cannot say enough about the staff’s communication, responsiveness, care provided, smiles, thoughtfulness, suggestions of adding some fruit with her bacon and going above and beyond. From management, to nursing, to dining staff and aides, we couldn’t ask for a better team.

My Mom moved into this community last year and she’s adjusted so well here! She has a cheerfulness in her voice I have not heard in years! Many call these places facilities I call it a Community! I’m sure years have been added to mom’s life with the social activities she’s involved in and the nutritious meals! I’m very Grateful for all the staff that have helped to make mom’s new home safe, secure and a happy place for her!

My good friend is a resident there and is very satisfied. There are lots of activities, Joselyn senior center is across the street also offering activities. The staff are all so professional, they look after WS when we can’t be there. The food is good (I’ve dined there too). I pop in 3-4 times a week, he needs are always met. They keep us informed without us asking. Even some residents have befriended us & keep us informed as his short term memory is very very short, so that’s very helpful! Overall, he’s in great hands!

After visiting a number of "retirement communities" we (mom too!) chose Atria Palm Desert as mom's next home. The entire staff from Brad & Andi on the business side, to all the health aides, housekeepers & dining staff, have made mom's transition an easy one. Atria is quickly becoming part of our family. My brother at 67 had a stroke. He has aphasia and right side difficulty with his mobility. After his stroke 3 years ago, I moved in to be his full time caregiver. The time finally came where I felt it would be in my brother's best interest to move into an assisted living facility. I did the research and found that Atria Palm Desert was the best fit for him. The staff is always friendly greeting him with a smile as he walks by. The staff gives my brother the attention to all his needs and requests. Events are happening all the time for the residents to enjoy and have fun. The layout of his apartment is great and the fact that it has a patio was important to my brother. The location is perfect as my brother enjoys riding his electric wheel around the neighborhood. I am quite satisfied with Atria and both me and my brother are happy campers with our independence!

We moved my mom to Atria Palm Desert in early 2021. The staff has always been courteous, knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful. Cheree, the executive director, returned my calls, on her own free time, to discuss my initial questions and concerns. She put any concerns I had to rest. The entire staff does a wonderful job and there are a few that I have had direct experiences with that really set the bar high for exemplary service. They are: Debbie at the front desk. She always is thoughtful and greets us with a smile. Debbie is a great initial introduction to Atria Palm Desert. Daniel, in activities, always has high positive energy and works hard creating and engaging the residents in daily activities. Mike, in maintenance, is always willing and able to fix things. He added a patio fence, at our request. Memo, the driver, even got a new battery for my mom’s watch. Atria Palm Desert is clean, friendly and engaging. The staff make Atria a wonderful place for our mom.

In her early seventies, my blind sister Laurie, moved from Berkeley to Atria Palm Desert. We looked for a place that had a pool and hot tub and accepted small pets, and an apartment with a private patio and quiet and convenient location. During our tour, the Sales Director asked Laurie her interests and then shared about recreational activities offered”walking, writing, and musical improvisation. Signing the Agreement was straightforward and the Business Director provided us with useful local resources. The rest of the Atria team”the Recreation, Maintenance, and Executive Directors as well as cooks, gardeners, and housekeepers”all made us feel welcome, from putting up balloons and rolling out the red carpet to matching Laurie to another resident as her own personal ambassador. Laurie highlights, The caregivers are very nice and accommodating. She sums up her first few weeks in her new home: Paradise.

A dear friend lived at Atria Palm Desert until her passing. She had a lovely apartment with a wonderful view of hummingbirds and other native wildlife. The staff were caring, prompt and compassionate. The Activity Director, Daniel, is always getting residents involved in exercise, games and just plain fun! Debbie, the receptionist is a marvel! Answering phones that constantly ring, scheduling rides to medical appointments, chatting with lonely residents, arranging for meals to be delivered to those not up to the dining room that day. The Executive Director, Cheree is not one to stay in her office! She is out in the halls listening to residents, answering emails on all sorts of subjects from family members, checking on her flock at all times. The Staff here obviously like each other, respect each other and genuinely get along. Nobody wishes to move into Assisted Living, but if you have to make the move, Atria Palm Desert is a great place to live!

I would like to give special mention to Elaine Gamer who has been absolutely wonderful, helpful, caring and considerate with helping me with getting my friend into Atria. She is very organized and on it. Believe me I cannot say this about many people. All the other staff at Atria that one has dealt with have been friendly and helpful. Atria is very clean and beautifully kept up. Thank you all for keeping a beautiful place for all the lovely seniors present, past and future.

It has been an excruciatingly difficult and stressful time for residents, family members and staff since COVID. I genuinely believe all staff have done their very best to keep residents safe and as content as possible. It was wonderful to finally be able to visit my mother inside the facility and inside her apartment. The entire facility looked beautiful, bright, airy and immaculate! The common areas and the inside of my mother’s apartment were spotless and very inviting. All staff was all smiles and my mother enjoyed taking me around to greet staff. Front desk, kitchen and dining staff were very friendly and welcoming as we said hello. Cheree, Jennifer, Lisa, Daniel, your chauffeur ( I don’t recall his name) and Michael have been wonderful and have put much energy into accommodating the residents. Present and past administrators, including Denise have worked so hard during such a terribly stressful time. I’m very grateful for everyone who has touched my mother’s life to make it better. I look forward to more good things happening for my mother and for my visits there. Thank you everyone!

I've been performing physical therapy services for the residents here for over 10 years, and in that time I've always been impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. They have always been friendly and personable. The property is beautiful and in a convenient location with the senior center across the street.

Wonderful experiences at Atria-Palm Desert - esp. when dealing with Carla at the front desk. She is always very pleasant (phone as well as in-person) - and most helpful with any questions or help we may need. My husbands mother is a resident there and we have had many occassions to contact Carla and have always found her to be more than helpful.
