The facility is absolutely beautiful and kept up very nicely. Residents are able to safely walk the grounds, viewing numerous trees, plants, roses and birds. The pool has been a great activity this summer. My dad loves to swim and it's fun to join the other residents there for lots of fun and laughter. The caregivers and staff go above and beyond. They are warm and friendly, always making life at the Gables cheerful and homelike. The management listens to feedback to make the overall Gables experience ideal for everyone who is there. They strive to meet the needs of the individual and they do a GREAT job at theat. My dad resides there now, and someday I will be sure to follow in his footsteps.

The Gables is one of the very special treasures of the Ojai Valley. I have had the opportunity to visit the Gables for a variety of events and am consistently impressed by the magic feeling the campus has. I call it campus because it must be about 6 or 8 acres of beautiful cottages, fruit trees, and mature landscaping. It is peaceful and very refreshing to visit. I have visited with a few of the residents there and they seem to really enjoy the events the community hosts. I was a part of a oil painting class that was just top notch! I also got invited to lunch once and they gave me the most delicious vegetarian option I have had in a while. Just a treat! If you are in the area I recommend walking through the campus. Its very special!

The Gables provided a great place for my husband's mom to live. The staff became part of the family and were very helpful and kind. I liked that the facilities were varied to meet her changing physical needs.

Visited my friend Shirley LaBarre when she stayed with her husband Loren for a bit. Lovely, clean and more then that they always have lovely get togethers for the people who reside there along with their visiting guests. When and if I feel it is time that is where I would choose to reside (if they would have me) ☺

The Gables of Ojai excepted my parents, George Finn and Arlene Heller, lovingly with open arms. My parents house burned down on February 23, 2018. There are so many valuable attributes to the Gables. Compassion and love being first and foremost. The staff from front to back or wonderful! Thank you so much!

Oh my gosh! Gables of Ojai was beautiful. I saw the dining area; it was beautiful. They were having activities -- an art class -- with people that live there, and they seemed so happy. It was clean. It looked like the people there were well cared for. Overall, it was a good experience. The woman that took me on a tour was very nice. Everybody looked happy. It was clean, and it looked like it was professionally run.

My sister stayed a while at the Gables of Ojai. It's a lovely facility, but she needed 24/7 care, and they had no availability there, so we couldn't stay. We were there for six weeks or so. I stayed with her because she couldn't be alone. We just stayed in one of their buildings. We ate their food, which was wonderful.
