Both of my parents have been residents at The Manor of Ojai for seven months and I am very pleased. Halina & the wonderful staff are very attentive to every detail concerning each of their needs. I have volunteered as a trained Ombudsman in the past so I knew what I was looking for in a care facility. The Manor meets all of my criteria with delicious home cooked meals, clean surroundings and caring, efficient staff. I know that my parents are well cared for there.

Manor of Ojai is a wonderful home with excellent care and compassionate, attentive caregivers. Halina personally trains all of her caregivers with love and maintains a high standard. My mother has enjoyed being there since the first day she arrived. The meals are delicious and the care she has received is excellent. This is truly a home with a family atmosphere. The dining room is large and pleasant, as is the living area. The residents enjoy watching the Hallmark Channel. There are also games and other interactive activities available. The front balcony is lovely as is the large, enclosed back patio area. What I have liked best is that the caregivers put all of their attention into engaging with the residents and are happy to do so. This is truly a home you can trust to take consistently good care of your loved one.

My father was at the Manor for a few months before his passing, and although I live out of state my local family was very pleased with the care he received at the facility. I was able to meet Halina at my father's memorial and she seemed a genuinely caring person.

My first impression of the Manor was that it looks and feels like a home. It is in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood with mature trees and landscaping that make for a happy, comfortable, home- like environment. My family member has been at the Manor since 2023 and she is thriving. She loves the food and the parrot and it is clear that she is being well cared for. It is incredibly difficult to moved a loved one into a care facility, and my family feels comfort knowing that she is in Halina's caring hands.

These are hard times for assisted living homes! My 88yr old mother requires help with all activities. She has lived at The Manor since 2019. Owner Halina provides a cozy, safe environment for this fragile population and really gives 110%. My mom has been calmer, less anxious than observed at her previous placement in Ventura. We feel fortunate we found The Manor for her care.

My 97 yr old Aunt Amelia stayed here in 2020 for a mth before she passed to Glory with the Lord & she looked happier than she had in yrs. She sat with the owners dad & enjoyed his company. She did exercises with the other ladies as the owner text me pics comforting me that she was enjoying her life as I worked. She did crafts, watched tv, ate real good. She was happy there in her last mth of life. Grateful for this place & the experience, attention & love that my aunt received here

After several years of caring for my 94 yr old mom at home, I recently had to move her from that home of 20 yrs to The Manor. After touring several other facilities in Ojai, I decided the best place for her was The Manor. Comfortable, quiet, and caring all describe this place. Halina the owner/ operator is wonderful in the way she really cares for her residents. Each time I leave after my visits I feel at peace knowing my mom is getting the same care I provided for her. I would highly recommend this facility.

Our father, Dr. John Henderson Stewart III, MD, US Army Surgeon Battle-of-the Bulge, now resting in Arlington, was taken care of by Halina Garcabz and her Manor for four years and he loved her and she loved him. Her love of all residents and families is well known in the Ojai Valley of California. We would highly recommend Manor of Ojai to any family looking for independent or assisted living in the beautiful Ojai Valley. Her European-styled food, friendship, love, and care of residents, family, and staff are notorious. Look for Halina and her convertible in the next 4th of July parade in Ojai once this virus has left us all. She and her staff and residents still wear their masks for now, following CDC guidelines, but we all look forward to the day when we can have another Ojai 4th of July parade, with Halina leading the parade and her Veterans too! When it became time to move my father down from Carson City to Ojai to live closer to family, we needed to choose an assisted living facility. I toured all the facilities in Ojai and chose the Manor of Ojai. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting in getting my father relocated. We initially chose to do a two week respite stay so that my father could also tour the other facilities in the area and make the final choice. After touring the other facilities my father decided he liked the Manor and wanted to stay there. We converted his stay into a permanent living arrangement and were never disappointed with the choice. The facility is clean, the staff very nice and helpful and the administration made sure my father was well taken care of. The facility is just the right size to provide privacy but not feel like a hospital. My father liked the food and a lot of the other residents. The care he received there was excellent. My father passed away about a year ago but I have remained friends with the administration staff and often go by the facility to visit. I wholeheartedly recommend the Manor of Ojai to people looking to ensure their loved ones are in a safe, secure facility and that their needs will be taken care of.

My mom has been a resident at the Manor for the past year. Helina was very gracious in helping me and my family during this difficult time. Its a lovely facility! My mom is always dressed and well cared for. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Very homey environment ! Ana is a wonderful staff member and very good with my mom.

My mom has been a resident there for 2 years. She is very well taken care of. The facility is smaller than others I have visited, so there is more time for individual care for those that require it. The cost is very affordable and there are no hidden fees. One price covers laundry, giving meds, rides to doctors appointments, etc. The beauty salon is extra but reasonable priced. The facility is very clean and the staff are all great.

My mother, 88 years of age, has been living in The Manor of Ojai for 7 months now. I can not write enough positive reviews about her living situation! She is so happy, which makes me happy. My mother was a cook for the Ojai Elementary Schools and understands how difficult it is to shop, cook and serve delicious meals to multiple people at one time. At The Manor she can honestly say they serve 3 healthy, creative, home cooked meals a day. The Assisted Living home is spotless. The caregivers are very CARING and my mother, along with her little chihuahua get loving care. Halina, the owner makes sure everyone is happy and making the most of their LIFE. Now my mother sleeps well, knits, reads, has many new friends and feels she has a life again. *everything is indoors so she can safely go to listen to visiting musicians, multipurpose room or get to meals safely year round.

My Aunt Betty became a resident of the Manor of Ojai in early March, 2015. She needed a higher level of care than what was being provided by an in-home care giver so she moved into the Manor. The facility provides a clean, peaceful, home like atmosphere at a reasonable cost, while providing the 24 hour services she was unable to obtain at home. The staff is friendly and caring providing delicious home cook meals three times a day (plus snacks my Aunt loves). The activities are engaging and fun! Aunt Betty loves the games and crafts. I would recommend the Manor of Ojai to anyone who needs a loving, caring atmosphere for a friend or loved one in need of 24 hours services.
