The Brookdale in Monrovia has been a wonderful experience from the beginning! Everyone of the staff members that I've met at The Brookdale has been professional, kind and very considerate. Susan was there to assist us during the interview/move-in process, but her door has always been open without any hesitation! She is definitely a gem! Without a doubt, I would recommend The Brookdale to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility in the area.

Unique group of people working in Brookdale Monrovia, it is like a big family. The community is clean, very friendly, it has a great atmosphere that make them stand out. My In-laws moved to Brookdale from Florida. It is a learning process for both sides. The staff really cares about my In-laws, it is greatly appreciated. They are constantly provide a warm loving family environment. Thank you all.

A year ago, I moved my mother to Brookdale Monrovia. I wanted a place where she would be safe and also have a social life. My decision was not easy but after touring the community and meeting with Danny Vera, Executive Director, and Nadia, Activity Director I new this was the perfect place for my mother. They both answered all my questions and concerns. I never felt pressured. I was very impressed with all the services they provide for their residents. They welcomed my mother with open arms. Her primary language is Spanish and I was worried that my mother would not feel comfortable because the community has few residents that speak Spanish. But I felt at ease knowing that majority of staff speak Spanish fluently. I always wanted my mother to live out her golden years in a safe and happy place. Brookdale is the place!

My heart is truly full when I think of this place and how they've helped our family. This transition was challenging for everyone, but Brookdale has restored my faith in quality caring healthcare professionals who value and understand the needs of this aging population. This is long overdue but we want to take the time now to thank everyone at Brookdale for helping make our parents transition to Brookdale as smooth as possible. It was difficult for our mother to give up her independence and coupled with all the COVID shutdowns and restrictions, it was even more difficult for her. We feel very fortunate to have found them a home at Brookdale where they are safe and cared for in such a personal way. Every staff member we have met or worked with has been wonderful to our entire family. A few who have been particularly helpful to our family, begins with Danny Vera in Sales who helped in countless ways to ensure a smooth transition, Hannah who seemed to move mountains to get all the necessary forms and medical requirements figured out, Hollie who became my go to person and showed endless patience and caring, Gail at reception who helped us figure out the lay of the land, and Abraham who has taken very special care of our mother in a way that exceeds his years. And, of course the Director, Alison, for her personal touch in the way she communicates to the families and makes sure the residents are kept busy, safe, and happy. Unfortunately, we do not know everyones name and this is not meant to leave anyone out. There has not been one person weve come in contact with who has not been friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. We didnt want another day to go by without letting you know how appreciative we are. In researching several Living Assistance facilities and I found Brookdale Monrovia to be exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and such a pleasure to work with that they make the entire environment feel a little more like family. I have to give Ralph and his staff a huge THANK YOU. They make every effort to make sure the residents needs and comfort a priority and have gone above and beyond for my uncle and his daughter. Every time I visit, I hear from both of them how well things are and how much they enjoy living there. I find myself very happy in knowing we have made the best decision going with Brookdale Monrovia.

I cannot say enough good things about Brookdale Monrovia Assisted Living. The Staff is wonderful and special shout outs to Allyson, Nancy and Ralph for being so kind, caring and respectful. As a resident of Monrovia, I researched many facilities for my Mother so she could live close by, have a good-sized personal living space, maintain her independence, have activities available and feel welcome by her new community all within a budget she could afford. Brookdale Monrovia exceeded all our expectations. My mother shared with me often how she loved her apartment, how everyone was so kind to her and how she wished she had moved here sooner. I highly recommend this facility!
