As a vendor who visits Brookdale Lodi each month to service their air fresheners, I’ve had the chance to see the community behind the scenes, and it’s truly exceptional. The staff are warm, attentive, and consistently go above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, cared for, and valued. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do and cares for the residents. Based on the outstanding care I’ve witnessed firsthand, I can honestly say I would trust Brookdale Lodi with my own father. It’s a remarkable place filled with remarkable people.

I would like to thank the kitchen staff at Brookdale Assisted Living Center for the delicious meals that they prepare for my mother-in-law. She has been a resident there for the last two years and I have never heard her utter one complaint about the food. My husband and I ate lunch with her on her birthday and the food was delicious. The chef and staff went out of their way to make her birthday special and we are both so very grateful. Keep up the great work Mr. Vega and staff! We give you FIVE STARS!

DINING REVIEW: My mom has been at Brookdale Lodi for four months now. She finds the menu sufficiently varied and the taste and quality very good. The kitchen and dining room staff are always friendly and helpful. We were told at the beginning that the chef is very accommodating---just talk to him. It took us a while to do that, and to find out just how willing he is to meet your needs. He can make substitutions that you are unaware of , and you can give him your favorite recipes to make. Ask and you will find the kitchen eager and willing to meet your requests. Not every meal that you eat is going to be the best meal that you have ever eaten, and I think it is easy for residents to play the "Find Fault With The Food Game". I would personally find myself sufficiently content with the dining at Brookdale if I were a resident.

I am always impressed and appreciative of the staff at Brookdale Lodi. They are so knowledgeable and helpful when trying to find the right place for seniors to call home. The decor is nice and homey, but it really is those that work there that make it the outstanding place it is! I will continue to recommend it for one of my favorite assisted living buildings in the area. Thank you for all you do!

Brookdale Lodi is truly one of the top assisted living facilities in the area. The staff takes immense pride in the care and compassion they provide for their residents. Their dedication to ensuring that each resident receives the best possible care is evident in everything they do. I've seen the staff form meaningful relationships with both residents and their families, making the transition to assisted living smooth and worry-free. The staff is exceptional, and there are so many wonderful aspects to this place. The facility itself is impeccably maintained and exudes beauty both inside and out. There is always a fresh and clean scent, making it feel like home as soon as you walk in. The residents are active and engaged in the community. They enthusiastically participate in events hosted by Brookdale. For example, Brookdale Lodi hosts a "Trunk or Treat" event every year, where residents come out to join and interact with the community. Overall, Brookdale Lodi is a delightful place and should be a top consideration when looking for a warm and inviting home for yourself or your loved ones.

My parents moved into Brookdale 10 months ago. They have thoroughly enjoyed living there - the staff, activities and food. Every time I’ve been there, the staff is friendly, knows all residents’ names and are patient responding to questions. Excellent place for them to live.

The young blond who's seems to be the front office receptionist for memory care was unkind and seem judgmental. She was very short and quick with her responses. Another person check in behind her and she was very kind and welcoming...didn't make sense why I was treated differently, when I walked in kind with a smile. Customer service is important and each person walking through that door should be treated properly. She left a bad impression

Brookdale Senior Living is a wonderful community! The staff is dedicated and always ensures that residents feel cared for and comfortable. The community itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds and a lovely courtyard that anyone would love. I highly recommend Brookdale Lodi to anyone looking for an assisted living community.

My dad was cared for at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lodi and I must say, I was highly impressed with the facility and staff. From nursing to maintenance to the executive branch to the front desk staff to the hair stylist, everyone was professional, compassionate and highly skilled. Everyone is so friendly. I felt like dad and I were part of a large family. The facility was stylish and clean. The grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend Brookdale Assisted Living.

I am unwilling to recommend Brookdale (mother has been a resident for 3 years) for the following reasons: - [ ] the food is often, canned, bland and unappetizing and poorly plated; - [ ] Brookdale advertises "Fresh, nutritious food, able to accommodate dietary restrictions" - which I have never witnessed or received; - [ ] the chef is unwilling to respect and observe my mother's dietary needs regardless of many conversations; Brookdale is understaffed and does not provide back-up when assistants or management staff are out sick; - [ ] when new staff is brought on board they are sent out without proper training; - [ ] the complaints about food and staff shortage are brought up at every resident meeting and the same answer is given: "we're working on it"- for the last 3 years! - [ ] When new nursing staff is brought on board, they are not quickly knowledgeable about individual life/death directives. - [ ] When the last two new assistant-directors were hired and they appeared to be making headway in creating change, residents were told that they would be leaving soon. Requests go unanswered or passed to another party, and are only attended to when I "copy" all involved staff naming how often I have attempted to contact them; When requests, complaints or suggestions are brought to the Director, she listens well, is very compassionate, but there is NO follow-through. ***The majority of the staff, caregivers and assistance are warm welcoming friendly and very respectful! As I review this list, it occurs to me that the majority of these issues would be resolved w new, strong, organized, leadership.

Our mother came to Brookdale with some serious health issues and my family and I were very concerned about her care needs. From the beginning the entire staff at Brookdale Lodi, were professional, informative and compassionate. They listened carefully to our concerns and answered all of our questions. Anytime we phoned we received a quick response from a polite and professional staff member. If they didn't have an answer for our questions they quickly found another staff member to assist. Our family is so very grateful to the entire staff for taking excellent care of our mother during her difficult time. Their job can be a difficult one and they take care of the residents with a smile and with compassion. Thank you all so very much for the terrific work that you do! Brandon,Cathy,Vanessa,Anglea,Amber,Mary-Margret&Raymond and all the other staff members, you are truly amazing.

My 101 year old mom came to Brookdale dementia and Alzheimer’s care facility for her final months. There was not one minute of any day that I wouldn’t give this facility a 5 star rating. The staff was unbelievably caring, professional and over the top kind. Without exception each and every care giver took excellent care of mom AND the family. I will always recommend this facility with great enthusiasm. The care our mom received was 100% consistent, caring, detailed and delivered with sensitivity and respect. My entire family was treated the same - especially during the final days. We NEVER expected but will always appreciate how kind and sensitive they treated each and every one of us. Our experience greatly exceeded all expectations. We are all so grateful to this amazing facility and the angels-on-earth staff. Thank you, Brookdale ’’’ Terry Wyrsch and family
