My mother in law was at Sunnycrest for a year. We were very happy with her time there. She loved the staff, they took excellent care of her. Her doctors were very happy with her care there. Her doctors said Sunnycrest did a great job overseeing her medically and they could see it in her labs, tests and overall improved health she experienced while living at Sunnycrest. The staff was kind and caring. My mother in law felt safe and cared for at Sunnycrest.

This review is for the tour, onboarding, etc process. Diana has been amazing and is an advocate for her residents. My grandma moves in tomorrow and Diana has made the process as seamless as possible. I have high hopes that my grandma will love the place and our experience will continue to be great. If the experience so far is any indication, I think my wishes will be granted. My father had a great experience here for more than 6 years. He made many friends, including staff and nursing team whom he adored. The rooms are large and well maintained. The kitchen is generally pretty good and invites families to participate in meals and enjoy the food. The med-tech team is second to none and I credit them with many life saving actions on behalf of my father. We consider them all part of our family. I highly recommend Sunny Crest in Fullerton.

My husband stayed at this location for a short time on Respite. It was very clean and fresh. I greatly appreciated Diana Robinson and Blanca for giving me the attention that I truly needed at this time? They and the staff quickly addressed any concerns I had during my husband’s stay. Sunnycrest was a wonderful place to visit. I Took my friend to visit during the grand reopening. Sunnycrest is a beautiful community. We enjoyed seeing the apartments, how beautiful the rooms were. The outside space so pleasant and inviting. We had some tasty appetizers and snacks. The staff were all very welcoming. When my friend is ready to make the move Sunnycrest is definitely a top contender.

Sunny Crest is a bright & beautiful residential place ~ I came to consider it for my elderly folks [who are not quite ready to enter assisted living], but I would love to see them enjoy such a positive & caring environmentall the lively activities, and getting to social with those in their age group daily!

Both my parents have both lived at sunnycrest. Although my has passed since last year, the staff are very communicative, and are very friendly. They have recently upgraded and refurbished the facility as well. If you have a loved one that needs a high quality, affordable independent living facility, you will not go wrong with sunnycrest.

I’ve lived at Sunnycrest 11 years going on 12. I’ve seen the facility go from family owned to company owned. I’ve seen major changes in Executive Directors, Directors and Managers. Major changes in Med-Techs, Caregiver, Dining staff, Kitchen staff and a prior and complete facility upgrade. So, I felt I’ve seen it all with my tenure at Sunnycrest until about two years ago this July, when Melanie Washington arrived at Sunnycrest. At that time we had no Executive Director, and only a few other managers, no Chef, and shortages of cooks, kitchen staff, dining staff, Med-Techs, Caregivers and Housekeepers. The shortages were made up with agency personnel which was a disaster. This was partly due to Sunnycrest recovering from Covid and the rest was from the terrible mismanagement of Sunnycrest. Over the past two years Melanie has put together an excellent management team who are well qualified, accessible and, most importantly, providing a friendly environment for Residents. We now have a 5 star Chef, kitchen and dining staff also, top quality Med-Techs and Caregivers and no more agency personnel. We just went through a major facility upgrade that was almost transparent to residents and this was because of Melanie’s excellent management skills. The workman were very friendly and accommodating to all Residents and tried to make the impact on us minimal. The Executive Director, managers, and all the staff are the best I’ve ever seen at Sunnycrest, they are all accessible, and extremely friendly and helpful. Considering these people completely filled all positions over the past several years, and are now a well-defined operating group today, is amazing. The management and staff are what make Sunnycrest great. What does this mean to me? I love this place! I don’t just live here, I call Sunnycrest my home, and always will under the leadership of Melanie Washington. Paul Brunner

Sunny Crest has been a very welcoming community for my in-laws. We had to move them from their home quickly and Sunny Crest has been more than accommodating to us. They made a sensitive transition very pleasant. Abbey has been great to work with; She has always gotten right back to us and has provided many resources for us. The very friendly staff has made my in-laws feel very much at home. The pricing at Sunny Crest is very competitive, the food is good and the care is compassionate!

Where do I start OMG We just rented an apartment here for my mother in law Jacquie. We worked with Abby She is so friendly and awesome we looked at and called several other properties for assisted living. This place was by far the friendliest and most reasonable place we saw. The staff is awesome. Melanie was great she assessed my mother in law so we could know what level of care she will need. Our family was welcomed with open arms and had lunch with some of the residents. What a great experience. The food was great. my dad and i toured awhile back and we loved it! Great colors and great vibes. The staff and residents were Super friendly and smiling. You could tell everyone was happy. My father decided not to move to California until next year but this will be where he moves to. Very well-kept and clean and he loved how he was treated by the staff

My mother is in the process of transitioning to assisted living, and we’ve been working with Ryan Ziegenbusch, who has been just outstanding in working with us on every detail of the process. I’m so grateful knowing that my mom will be in such good hands. It’s a lovely place, and I’m looking forward to spending time at Sunnycrest with her and the other residents of the Sunnycrest community. If you are considering this move for a loved one, I couldn’t recommend Ryan and his team more highly!

Our family is very grateful for Sunnycrest's comprehensive care and welcoming community. Starting with Ryan the Marketing Director's introduction to all that Sunnycrest had to offer my mother and father to Heather the Executive Director's hands on approach-they have exceed our expectations. Mom's apartment is perfect. She enjoys a view of the bridal trail and has had modifications made to her family room that make her feel right at home. Both Nick the maintenance person and Christine her house keeper have gone above and beyond to make her feel cared for. We highly recommend Sunnycrest!

I've been at Sunnycrest for the past five months. The rooms are beautiful with large layouts and great accessibility. My room on the second floor has a beautiful balcony and a view of the center courtyard. My apartment is kept very clean by the house keeping staff. The food is great with the variety of different options. The care staff is friendly and ready to help. The activities department with the name vibrant life is true to its message. We are very active and there's always something to do. The music groups that come in and the weekly outings are a great change of pace. The management is easily accessible and very friendly. They're ready to deal with questions and take feed back. The Team here is continuously making the community even better. If you are looking for an Independent and Assisted Living community you need to check out Sunnycrest.

THANK YOU to all the staff for the care they provided my mom, Julia Medina, while she lived at Sunnycrest, but most especially in her last days until she went to heaven. I don’t think we realized how quickly she would go once she was under hospice care. We know though God’s timing is perfect. The kindness and tender care provided by Alena, Rosie, Gloria, Roger, Jessica, Stephanie, Lourdes, Audrey and so many others encouraged our hearts. We were comforted knowing our mom was in good care. Also a special thanks to Heather Yost (director) and the others including Raeven, Jessica, and the gals at the front desk”Debbie, Pamela, Dora. Your smiles and warm greetings were always what I/we needed. I’ll be honest, I’m going to miss seeing the staff at Sunnycrest Senior Living.

I wanted to share, too often we forget to share good experiences. I live out of town, as such I do not have the opportunity to visit So. Cal but a few times a year. My Aunt is happy living at the Sunnycrest, with her "other" family. Everyone is kind and helpful. She has lived there almost 2 years now, and she has made many friends. When I arrived, I went to her apt. and she was not there, we found her playing cards with a group of ladies, laughing and having a good time. At first, she didn't need much help, but now she needs assistance. Everyone we encounter is helpful, the building is always clean and neat. I am treat with such courtesy - such a positive experience. Being responsible/POA and living far away, it brings such serenity knowing she is well cared for and safe. I'm amazed to get those calls that start with "everything is okay, we just wanted to let you know how your Aunt is doing today..." Thank you Sunnycrest! D. Ross

Sunnycrest is a wonderful option for senior living! I am always greeted by friendly residents sitting outside the entrance. The community has vibrant and updated decor and a lovely central courtyard. Staff members are helpful and seem to enjoy their work. Great proximity to Physician offices and St. Jude Medical Center too.

Walking into the lobby of this place made me happy. It's so cheerful with bright colors and a wall of windows that look out upon a lovely courtyard. It doesn't feel like most senior homes I have visited but instead like nice apartments with the added benefit of having your meals made for you and great staff that can assist when needed.
