Where do I start OMG We just rented an apartment here for my mother in law Jacquie. We worked with Abby She is so friendly and awesome we looked at and called several other properties for assisted living. This place was by far the friendliest and most reasonable place we saw. The staff is awesome. Melanie was great she assessed my mother in law so we could know what level of care she will need. Our family was welcomed with open arms and had lunch with some of the residents. What a great experience. The food was great. I will update this review when she moves in and experiences the staff and the whole living experience. Thank you guys so much for the awesome place for our seniors.

Sunny Crest has been a very welcoming community for my in-laws. We had to move them from their home quickly and Sunny Crest has been more than accommodating to us. They made a sensitive transition very pleasant. Abbey has been great to work with; She has always gotten right back to us and has provided many resources for us. The very friendly staff has made my in-laws feel very much at home. The pricing at Sunny Crest is very competitive, the food is good and the care is compassionate!

my dad and i toured awhile back and we loved it! Great colors and great vibes. The staff and residents were Super friendly and smiling. You could tell everyone was happy. My father decided not to move to California until next year but this will be where he moves to. Very well-kept and clean and he loved how he was treated by the staff

I have been at Sunnycrest Senior Living for over 4 months and I love it here. My apartment is comfortable and bright, the meals are tasty and nourishing and the people - both residents and staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. If a problem should pop up, it is quickly identified and solved. There are many activities to satisfy every taste, whether it is bingo, games, dominoes, cards, jigsaw puzzles, exercising, movies and more, or simply time to chat with other residents and share our lifes stories. In addition, outings are scheduled to local restaurants and places of interest. One of the things I like most about Sunnycrest is that it big enough too offer us residents a wide variety of personalities and activities for our enjoyment, but small enough that we can get to know each other and no one gets lost in the crowd. If you are looking for a place for yourself or for someone you love, do take a look at Sunnycrest Senior Living. I think you will like it as much as I do!

I dont know what a four or five-star facility is but I can give you an idea what its like at SunnyCrest senior living. I wont call this a facility because I call this my home. Ive been here a little over eight years and have seen it grow into what it is today. Its not like a high-rise office building like some places but is a spread out two story building with one part facing a beautiful horse and walking trail and other parts opening into courtyards and one in particular wraps around a beautiful garden courtyard. Theres a sitting area at the entryway into the building with a separate area designated for family meetings. The dinning room is arranged for a friendly eating experience where residents can choose what area they desire to sit in and a separate large room where activities such as music, bingo, arts and crafts, card games and other games are held. All these features are probably available at other places but what makes SunnyCrest different and makes it stand out are the people. Ive seen the management staff change over the years, getting better and stronger and today they are first class. Heather is the main manager of SunnyCrest and is a warm outgoing person and is always out mixing with the residents and is easily accessible to answer questions and take suggestions. Ryan, who is also a manager but in charge of new business , is also much like Heather, very accessible and helpful to residents. There are also others but these two stand out . There is an outstanding support staff. An example is our wonderful receptionist staff who direct individuals to their destination , receive mail and packages and direct calls and go crazy answering countless questions by residents about just anything or everything. SunnyCrest also owns and operates a bus for outings to places like Walmart, CVS, restaurants and other places, but most importantly, to Doctor appointments. Theres a staff member that operates the bus and also helps in the activities which includes music, arts and crafts and games just to name a few. Our dinning staff is exceptional from the Chef to the cooks, to the food severs and dishwashers and these individuals will do whatever it takes to keep the kitchen and dinning room running . If you have special diet requirements the dinning staff will work with you to meet your needs for any of the three meals a day. What makes the dinning experience personal and pleasurable is that the food severs take the time to get to know you and call you by name. The better the dinning experience the happier the resident but thats my opinion. Every week our rooms are cleaned and some of us have our laundry done by our very friendly and exceptional housekeeping staff . Of even greater importance is the maintenance staff. They not only keep this place running , usually behind the scenes, but also do all those other things for us residents like hanging tvs, putting things together, installing fixtures and many other things which are way too numerous to list. These individuals probably get called to do more things than any other support staff members. By now I hope you are getting the picture that SunnyCrest is a people place. My son, who lives in this area and is a local physician, found SunnyCrest for me. He surveyed many places and found that this place was in the best location and was by far the most cost effective. He was certainly right but he surly couldnt have know that the people who work here would become like family to me and they are the ones that make me feel like SunnyCrest is not only a home but my home. You cant beat the great living environment along with the cost effectiveness and location of. Ive had opportunities to move to other places but I feel I would have far more to lose than to gain. Do I think SunnyCrest is a five-star place, it sure is to me. PB Resident

Ive been at Sunnycrest for the past five months. The rooms are beautiful with large layouts and great accessibility. My room on the second floor has a beautiful balcony and a view of the center courtyard. My apartment is kept very clean by the house keeping staff. The food is great with the variety of different options. The care staff is friendly and ready to help. The activities department with the name vibrant life is true to its message. We are very active and theres always something to do. The music groups that come in and the weekly outings are a great change of pace. The management is easily accessible and very friendly. Theyre ready to deal with questions and take feed back. The Team here is continuously making the community even better. If you are looking for an Independent and Assisted Living community you need to check out Sunnycrest.

I am providing this review for Sunnycrest Senior Living and especially for Ryan, their director of sales and marketing. I am a certified senior advisor and I work with the families of the seniors on a daily basis helping them transition their loved ones to assisted living communities such as Sunnycrest. Naturally I interact with a lot of marketing staff at various communities to have a good sample size of individuals I work with and comparing the quality of their services to my families. I have known Ryan for nearly two years and have worked with him on several occasions. My most recent collaboration with Ryan was extremely productive and seeing how he helped a family with extreme care and compassion is worth my high praises. In addition to his transparency and availability to address my clients questions before they decided to move their loved one to Ryans community, he has continued to stay in touch with the family (who lives out of town) working with them patiently and updating them continuously on every aspect of the care provided to the resident. My client recently told me Ryan goes above and beyond to help me even during my last conversation with her. As I continue to work with Ryan on other prospectus senior families needing help, I look forward to providing more feedback on the quality of his work. And lastly, as I keep in touch with my families and the residents after they move in, I have to emphasize that Ryans community has been taking care of my client to the best of their ability which I am grateful for.

THANK YOU to all the staff for the care they provided my mom, Julia Medina, while she lived at Sunnycrest, but most especially in her last days until she went to heaven. I dont think we realized how quickly she would go once she was under hospice care. We know though Gods timing is perfect. The kindness and tender care provided by Alena, Rosie, Gloria, Roger, Jessica, Stephanie, Lourdes, Audrey and so many others encouraged our hearts. We were comforted knowing our mom was in good care. Also a special thanks to Heather Yost (director) and the others including Raeven, Jessica, and the gals at the front desk—Debbie, Pamela, Dora. Your smiles and warm greetings were always what I-we needed. Ill be honest, Im going to miss seeing the staff at Sunnycrest Senior Living.

She had been there several years and has made many friends and has enjoyed the facility. She in an independent senior that wants to be independent. I am grateful for the staff who have become friends that check on her and keep her spirits high during this trying time. It was a great choice when we picked it and it still is the best.

I wanted to share, too often we forget to share good experiences. I live out of town, as such I do not have the opportunity to visit So. Cal but a few times a year. My Aunt is happy living at the Sunnycrest, with her "other" family. Everyone is kind and helpful. She has lived there almost 2 years now, and she has made many friends. When I arrived, I went to her apt. and she was not there, we found her playing cards with a group of ladies, laughing and having a good time. At first, she didn't need much help, but now she needs assistance. Everyone we encounter is helpful, the building is always clean and neat. I am treat with such courtesy - such a positive experience. Being responsible/POA and living far away, it brings such serenity knowing she is well cared for and safe. I'm amazed to get those calls that start with "everything is okay, we just wanted to let you know how your Aunt is doing today..." Thank you Sunnycrest! D. Ross

Sunnycrest is a wonderful option for senior living! I am always greeted by friendly residents sitting outside the entrance. The community has vibrant and updated decor and a lovely central courtyard. Staff members are helpful and seem to enjoy their work. Great proximity to Physician offices and St. Jude Medical Center too.

Walking into the lobby of this place made me happy. It's so cheerful with bright colors and a wall of windows that look out upon a lovely courtyard. It doesn't feel like most senior homes I have visited but instead like nice apartments with the added benefit of having your meals made for you and great staff that can assist when needed.
