I have a family member who lives in this community and when I tell you it's top notch, service and amenities. They live up to every word. I was recently there for a brunch and it was beautiful. Residents were humming with joy. The food was absolutely superb. All the management staff and other staff members were very helpful and accommodating as they always are. I wish I had gotten a picture of the food, again amazing culinary team they have there.

As a healthcare provider, I have had the pleasure of visiting several assisted livings in Orange County. Oakmont of Fullerton is one of the best. They provide not only an exceptional living environment for seniors, but numerous activities and great food, according to several seniors who I have spoken to who live there. One of the things I focus on when I'm visiting communities is the wellness team. The current wellness director Jhoana is very proactive in anticipating the needs of her residents and leads an amazing team by being very hands on. Would definitely recommend touring if you are looking for an Assisted Living or Memory care for your love one. I also have had a couple of meals there - their chef is excellent!

From the moment you drive up to the entrance this community already feels like home. The reception was so welcoming and the staff was so attentive. I popped in and had an amazing tour with Maria Kauten. We toured assisted living and memory care. The community is absolutely breath taking and you feel like you have stepped into a upscale hotel, I've never seen such a beautiful community. I was really pleased to see the beautiful water features in memory care and all of the natural daylight throughout. We had lunch in the Assisted Living dining room and the food was SO good!! The rooms are so big compared to other communities I have toured and it really is leaps and bounds from what is out in the area. The atmosphere feel like beachside, classy elegance with a very calming color scheme and pallet. All the residents were so happy and talkative and really looked like they loved their home at Oakmont Fullerton.

My parents who are 90 have lived at Oakmont for two years. The residents are wonderful people and my parents have made many friends there. The leadership team and staff are remarkably kind, supportive, understanding, and patient. We know my parents are safe and well cared for. My experience at Oakmont of Fullerton began six months ago. My family and I began to research places for my mom to become a resident. We visited Oakmont several times before she actually decided to become a resident. Each time the entire staff was extremely helpful with our questions. Cassia Thiele spent time with us to answer each and every question my family and I had. She spent great care listening to my mom's concerns and answering her questions. The entire staff was welcoming as we visited. After my mom became a resident everyone on staff has been wonderful. Each member of the team from the housekeeping to the caregivers staff in the kitchen to the nurse and the director have been so supportive. Any questions we have are addressed in a timely manner. It is truly a community that my mom is comfortable and supported.

Oakmont staff especially Jessica R.(front desk secretary), Johanna (medical technician nurse), and Chris (sales) they have been there since before my parents made the transition to independent living to assisted living. Upon just checking out the location Chris was very welcoming and super sweet and patient with my parents. On mornings they'd go down for meals they'd stop and say good morning to both Chris and Jessica as they both enjoy talking with them and seeing how they are doing. Being I am the only local family around they have helped me tremendously with tasks and helping me and my parents adjust to a different way of living. I work a lot and also trying to repair their home. So I just couldn't balance caring for them and getting work done. My parents absolutely love these 3 people. They were sad when the executive director left (Lindsey). And since then things have been a little wonk of adjusting to the new schedules and options available to do while there. They have a amazing staff member there that help with events and ensuring my parents know and participate. My parents were very antisocial since even before 2020. Probably cause a lot of their friends and family moved away. This location brought them out of their shell and made them healthier and more active. For me it's a super helpful and informative of events and any important things that I should be informed on. It's the staff that makes the place a amazing place. Makes the location unique and special not just like a typical place. Hoping the corporate office doesn't change things and force or make their staff leave based on treatment and lack of staffing as a result.

Oakmont is a wonderful and caring luxury senior living facility. The staff there take amazing care of all the residents. I'd like to call out Chris O., Mike M., Joanna, Oscar, Lupe, Osiris, Barbara and I could go on. The people there give 110% of themselves everyday. Thank you all for making my dad comfortable and going above and beyond. The folks at Oakmont are creative and my dads dog Tommy wrote a letter to the residents. All the residents loved the new celebrity in the facility. Just a top notch group of caring and loving people. I also have to call out the residents. Stu, Margaret, Linda, Bill (and his cat), James and many more again were so welcoming. Sign me up! I'm ready to retire here now! Thank you all for being there for my dad.

It has taken me a while to write this review as its been super busy in my life. I am not a google review type of person, more of a yelper to be frank. Anyhow, let me start with sharing a piece of our life with you all. So everyone out there can understand how hard it is to put your loved one in a nursing home... It ain't easy!! My grandmother is our ENTIRE WORLD AND UNIVERSE! However, its not easy to take care of an elderly person on top of having kids! We decided as a whole to look around for a Nursing Home that would suit her! We took a tour of Oakmont and FELL IN LOVE at first sight! When walking inside, its like a luxury hotel that you're coming too! The layout is beautiful and the library is AMAZING!!! The front desk that day had fresh cookies coming out as we arrived and they were delicious!! Here is the main reason we decided to place our grandmother at this location! Take into consideration, every ones experience is different! Ours was one to remember 🙂 Cassia - she is the marketer at this establishment and she is so sweet and kind. She talked us through the entire process and made sure we understood what cost would be and what is covered at there facility. For those of you reading, know that it is NOT cheap to place your loved on in a home! It is also NOT cheap for those who take care of our loved ones! Please be mindful to those who come to work everyday to take care of your loved ones when you are working or cannot manage your own life! Just a quick thank you to all the care givers out there!! Lindsay S - Thank you for listening to our concerns when we were in doubt about your facility. Everyone does turn to google and yelp to read all the good and bad! Sometimes its an escape goat to go to a cheaper place if you think about it! Our family made our decision based off your attitude, your kindness and the fact that you sat with us and told us a little bit about yourself and life. We appreciate you taking the time to sit and make sure all our worries would be melted away! We are super thankful! Kitchen Staff - Thank you for the wonderful lunch you prepared that day. We know you are prone to serving all the residence every day, but knowing we asked for a different item, and yet you accommodate - meant the world to us! Lastly - Thank you for taking care of our grandmother. She is our world, we haven't had any issues since she has moved in. The studio is a very large and comfortable living space for any one over the age of 65. We love how we can visit any time, how we can sit in the game room with her, how we can enjoy some of their food and drinks LOL... What we really enjoy the most is the fact that everyone is super sweet and thoughtful! I am not sure about anyone else's experience, but ours is one for the books! Shout out to Oakmont of Fullerton for their amazing customer service skills. We shall be back to visit grandma sooner than later!

I recently took a tour of the property with Krystal. I'm debating on placing my mom in the facility. I'm really nervous about the kind of care she will receive. Krystal made the entire process so easy and was so kind and friendly that I think I will come back to tour again with my brother. Placing our mom in care is not something I'm taking lightly but with someone so warm and comforting giving us guidance along the way makes this scary journey much easier to navigate.

Oakmont should receive five stars, but because this has been our first experience at a senior living facility, and there were a few minor hiccups, plus the learning curve, I gave four. First and foremost, thank you Oakmont for the hospitable and kind welcome. The transition for our folks from Home-to-Oakmont---like it is for so many---was rocky and traumatic. But this was a transition that was necessary for the well being of our parents. Dad wanted the move; Mom did not. And Mom was who needed a safe, healthy environment the most. What made that transition go as smoothly as possible was the courtesy shown by the excellent, professional Oakmont staff. Even more, as difficult as it was for us as family, Oakmont management and staff were not rattled or annoyed. They poured on the welcome with smiles and warmth. So beyond the facility itself---which is outstanding---the people made the critical difference. The minor critiques of the experience are, to be sure, minor: Occasionally, it could take too long for meals to arrive as they tried to manage residents coming in at typical times, and it seemed they were slightly under-staffed. Silly unimportant things like not monitoring the Bistro area to ensure it was stocked (but most times it is!!). Recommendations: I'd like to see more 'therapeutic' options provided; where experienced social workers or psychologists would intentionally seek out residents (ie, my parents) and offer a 'therapeutic listening ear' (ie, counseling); not to mention, the human companionship with someone who is not necessarily elderly, yet with empathy and concern. This journey needs to be accompanied by gentle, kind people, and experts in psychology and gerontology would be a great benefit. Similarly, it would be good to have more proactive and intentional engagement with those who are in early-to-moderate stages of memory and cognitive decline (this is occurring with one parent). All said, these recommendations and critique pale in comparison to the sense of gratitude and relief we feel, now with our folks well cared for, interacting in a community of new friends, and with staff who can respond in case of any significant medical emergency. Well done, Oakmont!

I had the opportunity to help a family with Oakmont Fullerton. She absolutely loved that community. The care and amenities were just wonderful for her husband. She enjoyed the kind and caring staff that always made her feel welcomed. She also had lunch a few time's with her husband and loved there menu and food. Thank you Oakmont Fullerton for giving the wife a peace of mind while taking care of her husband!

Oakmont at Fullerton is a newer facility (1 year old) with great amenities and some wonderful staff. My parents really enjoy the people they have met and live with as well as helpful staff. Finally with the pandemic becoming more normal, activities and outings have been implemented making daily life more fun for everyone. So they have the potential to be an 5-star facility. Unfortunately, there continues to be inconsistency in food quality, service and communication. The Oakmont standard or tagline of luxury senior living and industry-renowned dining have never been met. The turnover in staff makes it difficult to deliver consistent service and this is enhanced with a lack of manuals and standard operating procedures. Fullerton is not the first facility for Oakmont but it seems like it is.

Oakmont has been the best thing for my parents. Although a transition from complete independence to assisted living is very difficult, the staff at Oakmont of Fullerton made it much easier for my parents. Lindsay Schroder has done an amazing job at upholding the mission statement of Oakmont. Chef Jay has been a tremendous addition to the staff and continuously prepares delicious meals for the residents. Activities are plentiful as well. I highly recommend this beautiful facility.

Wow! So sad to see these lousy reviews and most of them by previous employees. My parents have been there since they opened and let me tell you, the facility is as nice as it was when it opened. The staff is Uber Friendly, they care about their residents, the food is great as stated by my parents. They are always there to help and keep family advised. They have a new Director and Chef as of recent. The Director is on top of her game and the Chef is turning out gourmet style meals for the residents. The cleaning staff is always in my parents room wether it being that they are cleaning, doing laundry, making beds or anything else my mom and dad need. The care givers are there to help my parents with their needs as well. So far, Oakmont Fullerton is a well oiled machine and I couldn’t be happier. So x employee said “don’t bro g your parents here”, I say do bring your parents here because these people care. Nobody asked me to write this. I am writing this because it needs to be written. Thanks Oakmont Fullerton for the great care and love you have shown my mom and dad.

I would highly recommend Oakmount senior living . I had to find home to take my mom I wanted to make sure she would have the best care . I have found Oakmount when I first walked in the place is clean it didn’t smell. Very welcoming staff. I met Kara Kemper the manager Coordinator she’s very pleasant lady . I was confident my mom is in the best hands of care . When come and visit her I have had no complaints from my mom . She loves the staff and the food is great. Her room is very well kept. I had the pleasure of taking my grandmother here yesterday for a tour. This place is absolutely stunning. I have been in contact with their administration office for a few weeks now and they are extremely responsive, caring and made sure to answer all questions we had , in full, before we came to visit. Oakmont is in a secluded, quiet location right next to some hiking trails, the inside of the building is gorgeous, in terms of architecture, design and staging they have truly done their job. Even my 95 year old grandma was impressed. We put down out deposit yesterday and looking forward to moving in next week.

This place is nice I will admit it but I'm having my doubts after only having someone I know after a year. They didn't tell me completely what was going on to that person until I found out several days later from my cousin and she told me everything. The doctor that works here isn't the greatest either. It took my cousins husband who's a doctor to tell him what to do and straighten him out instead of him or her to make the right decision
