Horrible place. Moved my mom here from Sunrise of Pleasanton, which was 5 star. This place has a horrible nurse named [name removed]. If she is still there stay away. All she knows what to do is medicate the residents till they are basically shells of them selves. Please stay away and keep your family safe!

It was my sincere pleasure to have my partner stay at Sunrise of Fair Oaks. The staff is unbelievable kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and honestly cares about their residents and visiting family members. I have looked at many Assisted Living Facilities in the Fair Oaks, Orangevale, and Carmichael areas, and Sunrise of Fair Oaks is by far the best of the bunch! It is also very impressive to note that they allow pets and even have their own bunny rabbit (Smokey), dog (Tucker), and assorted gorgeous Maine Coon cats that have adopted their lovely back patio. Meals are terrific and staff attention to detail and client desires are always handled promptly and courteously. My partner is returning to Sunrise for another long and productive sojourn where walking, exercise , fun events, and fellowship are high priorities. I can only give Sunrise 5 stars on this recommendation -- but it really deserves a perfect 10! Bring your cat, dog, bunny, hamster, parakeet, and yourself -- then head for Sunrise if you need an astonishing ALF!

I have worked closely with the Sunrise Staff over the past eleven years. This team is outstanding! They always put their residents and families first. You can’t buy employees that have a “service” heart and somehow Sunrise of Fair Oaks has found people that truly care. Perhaps this loyalty is reflected in the ethic of their leadership. Thank you Lyndee and the Sunrise team for reminding me why we do what we do every day. You inspire me.

My husband and I looked at multiple senior homes for my mom, who needs memory care. We are so glad we chose Sunrise of Fair Oaks. The facility is wonderful and relaxing and the staff are so incredibly nice and they feel like our family. My mom has been there almost two years now and it's just as wonderful as when my mom entered. They do such a great job.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care that has been provided to my family. There was an emergency situation with my Mom and I had to get her in somewhere quickly. Sunrise management was extremely helpful and welcoming to myself and my Mom. They walked me through the paperwork and had a place set up with furniture by the next day. Lyndee, Joli, Erica, and Katie all worked together to make the transition as smooth as possible. The front desk staff was also vital to making my Mom feel comfortable at a very rough time. Her meds were managed immediately by a combination of staff that knew how important that aspect of the care was. In three weeks, the staff has talked, walked, and even sang with my Mom. They have done her hair, cared for her hygiene, and comforted her through this difficult transition. I could go on and on about my appreciation for their flexibility and understanding. If you are looking for a senior care facility, this is your spot! Fairly priced, great rooms, gourmet food, excellent care, and a staff that works very well together. What else could I ask for...thank you Sunrise!!!

The Sunrise Senior Living of Fair Oaks has an extraordinary special group of caregivers. Their kindness, expertise and care were evident in my mothers last few years and magnified in her last few days. There was a period of her stay when my mother needed more help with showering and toiletry. The staff had an amazing ability to help her overcome her reluctance to shower while allowing her to maintain her dignity. The caregivers sang with her, listened to her stories and laughed with my mom. I saw the same dignified care given to other residents in this facility. She loved sitting outside in the rocking chair surrounded by the flower gardens and oak trees. I often found her in the backyard watching the cats or petting Tucker the dog. She was involved in the exercise group, balloon volleyball and listening to live music. She went to the church services provided there. On her 90th birthday the staff allowed us to use their recreation room for a family gathering. The staff has always been generous and out going to make sure we felt at home. Mary at the front desk always welcomed us. If you wanted to know where mom was, she knew. Often while I sat with my mother, a staff member would stop by to chat with us and to make sure I was comfortable. Over the years the nursing staff and caregivers kept me informed on my mothers needs and condition. The called us if there was ever a medical concern. Whenever I left I knew my mother would be well cared for. My mother was very happy living there. She called it home.
