My brother and I searched over 8 places in the Sacramento area to find a place for our father. Our decision, Oakmont of Fair Oaks. We could not be any happier in his arrangements. From the moment we walked in my father felt welcomed. I felt welcomed when I went to visit him weekly. My father was exceptionally happy with Oakmont of Fair Oaks. The care staff were extremely helpful with our father. There were daily activities he could be involved with, there were bi-weekly performances brought in, "sing-song" as he called it. Bingo was his game and our family had to keep him in dimes so he could play. During the seasons, there were themed decorations that made him feel like he was home. Everywhere he turned there was assistance to keep him engaged and included. The dining facility was phenomenal in the variety of meals that were provided. It was never the same thing over and over. The chef, who made it a point to get to know his clients and my brother and I as guests, excelled in the meals and food preparation and presentation. It was not restaurant food, it was gourmet dining that truly made a different. And if our father chose to sleep in or took a nap and missed a meal, the dining facility was open all day for a snack. Our father had a standing breakfast order that the young servers all knew because of the relationships they formed with him and other clients. Our father spent his final days at Oakmont of Fair Oaks and he was very pleased. Each of the caregivers gave him the attention he needed. They also were extremely thoughtful to our family as we too were a part of the journey, staff or family it didn't matter. The level of compassion for his care and comfort made the final transition so easy.

My loving best friend (nils the Border Collie) didn’t know what to expect when coming here. The build building is beautiful inside and out. I was pleasantly surprised at how all the staff took to Nils (who has become a favorite with the staff as well as the residents). I couldn’t be more surprised and pleased with my experience here

The management team and caregivers have been very attentive and responsive to my requests and addressed any concerns that has arisen during my mother’s stay. It is a very difficult decision when selecting a safe and comfortable place for your elderly parent and to know that I could always contact the facility and speak to a Supervisor or med tech was reassuring. The ambiance is pretty and the facility is very clean. The staff genuinely care for the residents and if you are facing this type of decision, I encourage you to go visit Oakmont of Fair Oaks and judge for yourself.

Oakmont has been very good for my 89 year old Mother. She had real problems at Esk. with them giving her lots of anxiety over her meds and Oakmont has been very accommodating and I've heard no complaints since the move. Food is also much better with a fine ambience and pro wait staff, Rayne has been fantastic to my Mom as has most of the staff.

I moved my father here from Southern California. I looked and interviewed 6 places. This was the only facility that felt like home. My dad is in Traditions and we are both very happy with the care he receives. I am a retired nurse so I am very picky and Oakmont of Fair Oaks answered all my questions. The move in was painless and we are both very happy. The staff goes above and beyond for my dad. He considers this his home.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is so much more than the thoughtful amenities it offers to its residents. It is a dynamic community where people care about each other. I visit the community almost daily to see my parents. My mom lives in the Traditions section of the community and I am continually impressed by skilled and compassionate team that assist her as she navigates the complexities of living with LBD. It is a privilege to see the Traditions team in action as they provide care to all residents. with dementia. If you are a senior that wants to be part of a thriving community where everyone knows your name OR you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your loved one(s) will be safe, and cared for in your absence please consider visiting. My parents moved to Oakmont from a nearby assisted facility and I have never looked back. I trust the Oakmont team with the 2 most important people in my life.

Review of Oakmont of Fair Oaks Assisted Living Facility By a grateful son I am writing this review to share my experience with Oakmont of Fair Oaks Assisted Living Facility, where my dad has been living for the past month. My dad is 92 years old and has some health and mobility issues that require constant care and attention. I was looking for a place that could provide him with the best all-around care available, and I found it at Oakmont of Fair Oaks. Oakmont of Fair Oaks is a beautiful and spacious facility that offers a variety of living options, amenities, and services for seniors. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and secure. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and balconies. The common areas are inviting and lively, with a fireplace, a library, a movie theater, and a salon. The outdoor areas are stunning, with a fountain, a garden, and a gazebo. The facility also has a fitness center, a wellness center, and a memory care unit. The staff at Oakmont of Fair Oaks are amazing. They are professional, friendly, compassionate, and attentive. They treat my dad with respect and dignity, and they make him feel like family. They are always available to help him with his daily needs, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and taking his medications. They also engage him in various activities, such as games, music, art, and exercise. They monitor his health and well-being, and they communicate with me regularly about his progress and any concerns. I would like to give a special shout-out to some of the staff members who have made a difference in my dad's life and mine. Tamara Zawaideh, the marketing coordinator, who gave me a tour of the facility, and answered all my questions with a professional and positive demeanor. Kelly Nanthasaeng LVN, the Health Services Director, who oversees my dad's medical care and coordinates with his doctors. Anyssa Hill, the marketing director, who helped me with the paperwork and the move-in process. And Pouya Ansari, the Senior Executive Director, who leads the team with excellence and compassion. They are all wonderful and caring people, and I am grateful for their work. I am very happy with my decision to choose Oakmont of Fair Oaks Assisted Living Facility for my dad. He is receiving the best all-around care available, and he is enjoying his life there. He has made new friends, learned new skills, and improved his health and mood. He always tells me how much he loves Oakmont of Fair Oaks, and how much he appreciates the staff. I would highly recommend Oakmont of Fair Oaks to anyone who is looking for a quality assisted living facility for their loved ones.

Spent this morning on the restaurant patio at Oakmont Fair Oaks with my Mom enjoying the sunshine, conversation and coffee. The Oakmont staff was ever so gracious, making sure our coffee was bottomless and we had ice for our drinks. Shout out to Jayden, Kayla, and Vanessa. Fan favorites for their attention and compassionate care!

Mom moved into Oakmont in May of 2023. She was welcomed by staff and residents overwhelmingly with what has turned out to be the biggest transition of her life. She receives the highest quality of care along with genuine concern for her wellbeing from staff. We no longer worry hourly about Mom and have the freedom to travel and do activities that take us out of immediate reach. It has simply given us the peace of mind to enjoy our lives again while incorporating Mom into our daily living. Oakmont was the best and the right choice for our family.

My siblings and I visited several homes looking for a place for our parents and asked for tours. We got exactly what we asked for until we got to Oakmont. We were met there by Anyssa, who invited us into the library while she grabbed her notepad. We sat down, and she wanted to know everything about my parents, and not just what their needs are... but what they enjoy, and what a typical day for them was like, and anything else that we thought she should know... AND THEN we took the tour. The interest and time she took to do that already sold me. However, while on the tour, I noticed that she knew most residents by name, and they smiled back at her when she said hello. This was not the case at the other facilities, and I was impressed. But then we moved my parents in and I got to know a lot of the staff and also a few residents. I'm gonna avoid more names because I don't want to forget anybody, but everyone (residents and staff) seems to have a positive outlook and, to me, that speaks volumes. The care staff take great care of my parents, and the management staff have open door policies. I believe that negative feedback is far too common, I also believe in positive feedback when it's earned. I couldn't be more pleased with Oakmont, and I'm happy to say that I'm glad we put my parents there.

Since March 2023 i’ve been living in oakmont of FO, it is like a 5 star hotel with all wonderful staff and residents, the dining room is charming, great food, the movie theater is a treat everyday, the gym is amazing and care staff are great. I love every minute of it. If you are looking for friends, care, food, surroundings, come to oakmont of fair oaks.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is a great place to live! We moved my grandmother in 2 months ago from another senior living place and she is so happy, wishes she did it sooner! The move in process was smooth and the team there really helped with the transition! Anyssa and Tamara were wonderful. All services from the caregivers, med techs, housekeeping and activities are wonderful! The food is delicious and the Executive Director is great! Highly recommend it!

I was lucky enough to tour this building before it was officially finished being built. The thought and care that goes into creating these communities shows. The entrance and first impressions are warm and inviting with friendly staff. There’s always residents doing activities or lounging at the bistro, and everyone is so happy. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking in the area.

We are so grateful to have found Oakmont of Fair Oaks for my Mom. The team was so helpful to get her quickly assessed and find an apartment that worked for her. Big thanks to Stephanie and Anissa for all their help. Since she has moved in, I keep receiving photos of her wine tasting, painting and even teaching poetry which is her passion. She can’t say enough about the great food. She’s really picky and loves great food. We highly recommend Oakmont of Fair Oaks! It’s beautiful and even though she needs Assisted Living she feels independent again because she has the care she needs.

My brother and I moved our Mom into Oakmont of Fair Oaks in September of 2020 and could not be more pleased. The entire staff is so attentive, follows protocal to keep everyone safe and they make my Mom so happy. She has a few favorites who always make her smile.Their laughs are contagious and the facility is gorgeous and yet, very comfortable. I would highly recommend Oakmont of Fair Oaks. We looked at several facilities and could not be happier with our selection !

We have lived here since June 2018. There is a kitchen garden looked after by the Executive Chef who grows all kinds of vegetables for salads, soups, pizza and other uses in preparing meals for the residents. This is greatly appreciated by residents. A nature area for native plants encourages pollinators and nest building insects. Last year we attracted several Monarch butterflies The National Wildlife Certified Wildlife Habitat sign at the front entrance assures visitors that Oakmont of Fair Oaks takes as great a care of nature as it does of residents. When the Media Room is open some residents organize programs for all to enjoy. These programs have been very successful.
