My situation was Greatly helped by CHT, taking care of my mother. It's a difficult job---and I know they try as they can. They worked with me pretty good overall, kept me informed of any issues or requests. We worked together to keep mom comforted and safe. They do a decent job considering the difficulty. Personally, I'm More than appreciative for their efforts, as the home situation was tenuous due to other persons needed help at home and taking care of my mother by myself was very hard, but I did the best I could. CHT came along at the right time and I've no complaints, just praise.

My daughter is currently resides at CHT, she is 57 years with several caregiving problems. The staff is very patient and keeps her comfortable as possible. They consistently keep an open communication with us about our daughter. i would highly recommend this facility.

My mother has been a resident since December 2024. She says she is happy, food is good and she is well taken care of. The Administrator, Veronica, and staff are kind, courteous and responsive. We are satisfied with her care.

Citrus Heights terrace is the absolute best home for my mom their staffs and caregiver team take real good care of my mom with patience and i truly have my respects go out to the staffs and each member of the team and gratitude as well

Tina our administrator is very professional, has a caring heart and always puts her residents & staff first. The staff are also very warm and welcoming, the facility is clean and spacious. I definitely recommend it for family and friends.

My parent is not here yet, we are in process. But if the kindness and consideration that has been given to my daughter and I so far by Tina and her staff is any indication, my parent will be well taken care. This is not an easy process or decision in my case but I feel like this is the right place. I look forward to a positive collaboration.

I needed to find a place for my Mother that was close and easy for my siblings and I to visit. I developed a great rapport with the director "Tina" while waiting for an opening, when one became available Tina was very helpful in securing a place, Mom's been there 6 months now and there have been no problems, my mom is happy ,clean and her needs are being met. My family is very satisfied with her care.

Making the decision to move my mother into the next level of care was in itself initially difficult. But the help that both my mother and I have received from Director Tina and her staff have made me sure that I made the right decision. My mother has been in Assisted Living for over 8 years now but during the Covid crisis her physical and mental capabilities greatly declined. Being isolated in her room for a year, albeit for her own safety took a toll. A subsequent health crisis meant that I could finally see her in person when she went into the hospital and with that came the realization that she had changed. It was tough to accept but my mother was now operating at the level where she needed more assistance and that Memory Care was the best next option. So here is what I have observed since my mother moved in to Citrus Heights Terrace. Note: There is always resistance to change, understandably. It took a few weeks at the start for her to adjust to her new surroundings. But the transition has since been successful. While she felt comfortable and safe in her prior care home, she is now expressing happiness with her new residence. Both her room and bathroom are pleasant with lots of light. She says the food from her last place was A-ok but she likes the food at Citrus Heights Terrace more. She is adjusting well and the staff provide her with a lot of patience and kindness. The great thing for my mother is that she can still have some pleasure and engagement with life. She is in a good environment which shows because now she is smiling and opening up more. That is the way I would like her to spend the last of her days. Thank you to Tina and her staff. I have experience with a few facilities in the Sacramento area. This is definitely at the top of my list.

A letter about the Terraces from my mom, who is a resident there: "I am writing this in favor of the Citrus Heights Terrace, an assisted care facility, at 7952 Old Auburn Rd., Citrus Heights, CA. The outdoor and indoor maintenance is excellent. The landscape is beautiful. The crews are quick to repair plumbing and electrical problems or any other physical dangers. The dining halls, bathrooms, salon, and hallways are cleaned up promptly often and very thoroughly. The caregivers do a great job, seldom complaining about their endless task. I have never seen or heard any inappropriate treatment of the memory care residence. Rather, I have seen actions of great patience, compassion, and a sense of humor. The caregivers have a knowledge of each one's personal preferences and needs. There is a good rapport among the boss, the management, and the staff. The boss does not hesitate to remove anyone for miss behavior at any level of employment. No one is fired or laid off without good reason. It shows a strong sense of respect for human beings. All the staff are cheerful, practical, down to earth hard-working people who are dedicated to their professions. The terraces a Citrus Heights exemplifies a solid, loving community who understands memory care and its challenges. I feel loved. I am safe here. I enjoy life again. My father was a resident of Citrus Heights Terrace and I highly recommend their care home. My father had a terrible experience in another care home as well as a not much better experience in a board and care before arriving to Citrus Heights Terrace. There was a noticeable difference in him once he got to CH Terrace. He was happy and never once complained about various things like he did at his prior places. He was treated as if he was a family member and so were we. The care home is well kept and clean. All the employees were very caring and patient. Tina runs a great care home. I just wish we had found them sooner.

Moving a parent into a memory care facility is stressful and emotionally trying to say the least. Tina and her staff are awesome! They made the move in process very easy and have been so supportive of the family. But more importantly, they have taken such good care of our dad...especially during this past year with COVID. We are very grateful to have him cared for by such kind and professional staff.
