I would like to recognize Alder Bay Assisted Living for its commitment to excellent care as provided to my mother and its other residents. My mother became a resident in 2014. In addition to the well-trained staff that does a great job looking after the residents well-being, Alder Bay also provides other services such as on-site med techs, transportation to and from medical visits, delicious healthy daily meals and even an on-site hair salon. The facility, situated within beautiful surroundings, is well taken care of and has lovely spacious rooms. Alder Bay also gives its residents a stimulating environment with activities such as exercise, art projects, movies, visiting musicians, excursions, parties as well as the companionship that exists among its residents. This facility is very sophisticated looking and they look more like condos. It was a very upper crust community and it didnt feel as homey to me. The staff was okay and they offer a lot of activities like bingo and exercise. It is a lot more expensive here and they werent comparable to what the needs of my Mom are. I would recommend this community to other families.

At this point, Alder Bay Assisted Living seems to be the one that would be best for me. I'd pick them if I have to go into assisted living. The people that live there seemed nice. The apartments were very nice. If people wanted, they could have a small kitchenette in their apartment. I did not meet the staff other than the nice lady who took me around.

I really liked Alder Bay Assisted Living. It was clean, and the staff was very nice. I had lunch with some of the residents there, and I felt wonderful for them. I would definitely consider my father going there. They had a nice sunny room that had books, and it led out to a patio where the residents could go sit outside, as well. They had an exercise room and a room where they could play cards. They also had a nice living room where they could all gather and just socialize. I liked that they could wash his clothes for him, and they would give him assistance on what he needed. As far as I could tell, it was really a nice place.

It is an awesome community. They have been so good to our loved one. They are very helpful and accommodating. The have not faltered a little bit. They are open to suggestions and they really listen to the customers. I have nothing but praise for them right now. Monthly is about $3,200 for semi private. I would recommend this community to anyone.
