Camden Springs truly is "Gracious " Retirement Living. Everything from apartment and community amenities offered to the basic services included for all residents is exceptional. What is most exceptional is Chris and Laurie, on-site managers and their staff. Everyone from housekeeping, dining, transportation and maintenance are friendly, caring and supportive. As soon as we walked into Camden Springs, we knew this was the place for my sister-in-law. If you are looking for a retirement community or have a loved one who is transitioning into senior living, Camden Springs is outstanding!

It's a lovely place to spend your second half of life. They are fully staffed...residents have three meals per day, there is a salon on site, lots of activities and helpful staff. Family & friends can join the resident for a meal for a nominal fee.

My mom has lived here 5 yrs and really likes it. It's what you make of it.. you can stay in your apt., Or join others for meals in their dining room. If you like you can play games with the other residents. My mom is 92 and this is the best decision she ever made. She was getting lonely and depressed at her house. This place keeps her going. She's a happy camper.

My father-in-law lives here and the place is super clean, they have many activities, everyone is super friendly, the office, cleaning, kitchen staff are very friendly, they show a lot of attention to the residents, I highly recommend it

My contact with Camden Springs was all positive. Excellent customer service is in short supply these days but it not only lives it's thrives at Camden. In my apartment search I was invited to come by and made to feel most welcome. Clean, bright, comfortable. Residents are happy to be there and the staff from housekeeper to director are as well, there is pride in this place. It was real, I know when people are faking. I can feel it and I could feel that this is a caring, supportive and safe place to live. It was above my means at this time but I would recommend Camden to anyone looking for a real all inclusive residence. The grounds were beautifully kept, rooms bright and comfortable, freedom to do as much or as little as you wish, good food, activities, pull cords in every room. I would not hesitate to recommend Camden Springs to anyone who can afford it. It would be worth it if I did.

I only drove by there. It looks nice from the outside though. This wouldn't leave me alone till I left some kind of review about it. I was at my cousins down the street.

This is a very nice place! My parents lived here for a year and a half. There are many amenities, theatre, weight room, library including large print books, chapel, laundry facilities, pool table, cable in the rooms, organized activities and much more. The meals are prepared and served in a beautiful dining room. The thing I really thought of note was the management knew every resident and treated them with respect even when they were obviously tired. This is also a safe place with the residences having multiple call cords in each apartment to which the management respond day or night and summon the fire department which is literally across the street.

I had my mother-in-law stay here for a period of time, everyone was great to her and our family. I highly recommend this place, staff, residents, food and activities. My mother-in-law moved closer to her daughter.

Very nice INDEPENDANT living facility. Great activities for residents and socialization. Meals are great and a few choices for the residents to choose from. Its beautiful inside and out with a movie theater and hair salon. I was very impressed.

All is well except the food. This isn't bad for everyone, but if you have any food allergy or an exception - dream on. Having weekly meetings with the kind head chef and caring management, their incapable kitchen staff is in absolute chaos on the weekend, when their head chef & management has time off. Life isn't perfect when management & chef are in either. My mother lives here, and I visit and experience everything first hand 3-4 times a year, for a week or two at a time. My mother only asks that ONE of the three meals served each day be something without ingredients that she is DEATHLY allergic to, but nobody can get it right. Her one meal a day is often just completely forgotten. We don't wonder why her lunch is cold the majority of the time since it arrives at 1:45pm, because everyone else is served at 12:00 pm. All her allergies are written and reviewed every week, and I have yet to see or hear of ONE single meal ever served warm, and without something drastically wrong. She asks a week in advance for: One unseasoned tiny grilled chicken breast, some steamed unseasoned spinach, and some cooked rice-pasta which she provides and pays extra for. She is deathly allergic to the seasoning salt mix & garlic they dump on everything, deathly allergic to corn, and deathly allergic to wheat (just for starters). The result served at 1:45 pm: cold corn, green beans & carrots heavily seasoned and an equally seasoned piece of chicken - no pasta. The Kitchen is closed and cleaning by this time, so she just asks if they can microwave a potato. They return with cold spinach (couldn't heat it up) and Wheat pasta which she is deathly allergic to. No potato. Rent for the tiny two bedroom exceeds $3,000 a month, and no way in hell is there a refund for any food problems, and no way to just rent the place without having any meals. It's mandatory that all 3 meals are paid for with rent. This establishment has had over 7 months to resolve this, and nothing has changed. Why not move? Because my mother's delicate health is just that; delicate. It practically killed her to move here, where we were promised there would be no problems accommodating her food restrictions.

My father moved from his home to Camden Springs on November 22, 2013. He loves this facility, loves the staff and the food. I have visited this facility approximately 30 times during this time period and have always found the staff kind, attentive and willing to work with us on special requests (not food related). Since my father has no food restrictions I cannot address the kitchen staff''s willingness to accommodate allergies. However, in visiting with the waiters, the management and the activities director, I could not be more pleased with my Father's new home. I strongly recommend Camden Springs at every opportunity. In fact, my Father has had numerous visitors to not only spend time with but also to share meals with and they all speak very highly of their experiences while visiting.
