A very helpful visit to check out options for future care for my Aunt. I particularly appreciated the honest, candid and very helpful experience shared over the dilemma of organising safe care for a relative with advancing dementia, but in denial.

We landed at Sunrise Beverly Hills after several other experiences and are glad we did. Although it is pricey, I wouldn't change locations because they care like family for my mom, communicate well, prepare foods like a gourmet restaurant and allow us to have our own private caregivers 24/7 due to mom's blindness and dementia. The intake sales team are warm and professional, and avail themselves to assist with move in and settling in. The floor care team are affectionate and professional, the Executive Director is charming and attentive to all requests and offers options to continue to satisfy my mom who is a challenge and the Wellness staff is ready and willing to do what ever it takes to manage meds and respond to advancing care needs with a great respect for privacy. All around, very pleased and highly recommend; nothing is perfect, but I feel my mom gets the best care possible outside of her home which became unsafe for her to remain in. I am guilt free having her live at Sunrise.

My mother had an excellent overall experience with Sunrise during several years of residency. Staff were generally caring and responsive. It's a comfortable facility, which feels almost like a luxury hotel. There is a broad range of programming suited to different interests and physical/cognitive capabilities. During our mother's unfortunate decline, we got to see how Sunrise operated as she needed more and more care. (She was lucky also to have extensive assistance from personal aides not provided by Sunrise throughout most of her time there.) Initially in the Assisted Living unit, Mom was able to take advantage of greater freedom and programs like concerts, movies, and discussion groups. Staff, led by caring manager Sam, were very responsive at working with the family to support Mom and balance her needs for safety and independence. As her cognitive state declined, she needed to move into the Memory Care (Reminiscence) unit, a more self-contained unit with more staff per resident. Manager Nancy worked hard to see that Mom got good care tailored to her needs, and she was very responsive to family concerns. The building has a convenient location and nice facilities, including a dining room, lounge, and movie theater, and not surprisingly it's quite expensive. Maintenance and cleaning of individual rooms was not always ideal, but staff usually responded to family reports of concerns. The nursing staff did a very strong job overall of supporting Mom's medical care. It's not a nursing home, and during evenings and weekends nursing staffing was limited, with no nurse at all for long periods.

You will not find a better Assisted Living Community in this price-range or of this caliber on the Westside. I consider them an extended family. A must-see before making your decision.

The staff is very professional, caring and thoughtful. The price tag is high but the service is great and you can feel as safe as possible having a loved one there. I toured different facilities personally and virtually. This is by far the best.

We moved my father from St. Louis to Sunrise after my mother passed away nine years ago. While I tried to make an informed decision, it was really closing your eyes and throwing darts at the a dartboard. Fortunately, we hit a bullseye. The past nine years my father spent on the Reminiscences Floor at Sunrise were as happy as any time in his life. The care, love and respect he received were extraordinary. It was beyond any level of care I could hope for and certainly more than I could ever give him. Thank you Sunrise

The executive director Jason Malone and sales director Nikeey Bakshi from the Beverly Hills location are unethical and extremely aggressive in their practices. During my time there as a concierge, as a test, Jason and Nikeey called the main line where Jason poorly disguised his voice as a southern woman looking for a home for their mother. We are instructed to place the client on hold and find a department lead or director to take these calls. As per usual, no one was available or wanted to take the call. Unfortunately, Jason and Nikeey were on hold for longer than the normal wait time, instead of questioning why his team was so hard to reach for a "critical" call, Jason and Nikeey wrote me up for this. Nikeey also tried to write me up for a few other things but when I pressed her for detailed accounts, they usually fell through the crack so she couldn't "pin" anything on me. I ended up transferring out of this facility to work at a different one and it became a much more pleasant work environment. I've never forgotten how disgusting Jason Malone and Nikeey Bakshi's behavior towards me was, their treatment of me during my time at Beverly Hills has affected me and how I choose where I apply for work. I do not recommend anyone to apply for this company, the work is difficult and the pay doesn't match the required licensing and schooling it takes to obtain a job here. I would not trust placing my loved ones at this facility as

My husband lived there until he passed away. The care and love he received was so genuine and real. They not only take care and love ones but they take care of the family too. I only have the highest regard for how safe they Have kept the community during this Covid. Thank you Sunrise for your love and support to me and my family.

My mom lived at The Memory Care unit at Sunrise of Beverly Hills for nearly four years under the great care of their staff and volunteers. Through COVID-19 they were extremely vigilant and thoughtful. They handled a sticky situation with billing when my moms husband passed away suddenly with grace and compassion. Aurora in particular went the extra mile (literally) to ensure an easy transition. If one can afford Sunrise of Beverly Hills, it is a true community that cares about its residents and their families.

Sunrise Beverly Hills is a lovely, hotel-like facility with professional, caring staff and provides all of the comforts of home. They have a movie theatre and a long list of daily activities to keep things interesting for those residents who are able to partake. My mom enjoyed flower arranging, pet visits, scenic rides, etc. She had dementia, which progressed quickly and during Covid, when her family was no longer able to visit her, they moved her up to the Reminiscence floor, where she received much more memory care and a lot of attention from the small staff that she easily befriended and was comfortably familiar with. They took excellent care of her and made sure to supervise frequent family FaceTime calls and eventually socially distanced outdoor visits, so mom wouldnt feel too isolated. It was a difficult time for all of us, but Sunrise BH made it much easier, giving us the peace of mind that our mother was seen and cared for in a very kind, loving environment, that she was safe and her needs were met. So many of the staff deserve kudos, but I especially appreciate Reminiscence director, Aurora and Laurie the Head of nursing staff. Jason runs a wonderfully tight ship with a friendly, happy atmosphere.

My mother found a home at Sunrise of Beverly Hills Senior Living and my family found peace of mind. During these difficult times dealing with the Corona virus we were concerned primarily with my mothers safety. Sunrise addressed our concerns about the virus by enacting clear policies to keep residents and staff healthy, maintaining exacting cleanliness of the entire facility, and providing compassion during the times when visiting was impossible. In addition to issues surrounding the virus, my mother had become prone to falling and was also battling a mild mental illness. The highly capable staff at Sunrise summoned a team of medical doctors, psychologists and neurologists to diagnose and treat my mothers specific issues. Each member of the Sunrise of Beverly Hills staff treated my mother with patience and loving respect as we navigated her transition to senior living. As with many aging people, my mother was reluctant to leave the independent life she was accustomed to living. The entire staff worked to ease this transition for her. Sunrise of Beverly Hills Senior Living has provided my mother and my family the solution we needed to give my mother the best care for this period of her life.

I first met Nikeey Bakshi over two years ago when we were in the early stages of trying to find an assisted living facility for my Mom. We weren’t sure what we were even looking for, but it had been recommended for us to check out Sunrise at Beverly Hills. From my first phone call with Nikeey, I had a sense of reassurance and confidence, that if we chose your facility, not only my Mom, but our entire family would be welcomed into Sunrise as a part of their family. We weren’t completely ready to make our decision, but Nikeey followed up with calls just to check in on us and ask if we had any questions or concerns. Shortly thereafter, we decided to meet Nikeey at the facility and take a tour. She greeted us with a smile, a hug, and a happy, energetic and caring attitude. Once we met her in person, we were sold on Sunrise. Of course, the facility is beautiful, and it is the perfect spot for my Mom, but I must tell you that Nikeey is a large part of why we chose Sunrise. My mom has now been at Sunrise for a little over a year, and the follow-up and checking-in from Nikeey continues. When we see her at Sunrise, we are always greeted with open arms, and talking with Nikeey, we are further convinced that my Mom is well taken care of and at home. I run my own business, so I know employees like Nikeey are rare. She takes her love for the job and meeting with families to a new level, and she is a great representative of your organization. She stands out and far above from the crowd, and her work ethic, attitude and genuine care for others makes anybody’s experience with Sunrise at Beverly Hills that much better. Congratulations for having such a valuable, knowledgeable, and fun person on your staff. Larry Kanne ________________________________________

Appt. set for 10:30am on Friday. The facility was great, close to home, wonderful staff, wait list, limited outdoor space and very costly were the only negatives.

This facility is 1st class but it comes with a price tag. I chose this place because my mom is only 2 miles away and I can see her every day. All of the staff treats my mom incredibly well. They always go above and beyond expectations to make her feel better. Sometimes it’s just getting her some more water bottles to going out and buying her extra things like diapers or sheets. They’re always phenomenal and very friendly. The amount of attention they give my mom and the courtesy they show her is amazing. They serve 3 meals a day and they are good portions that look nutritious. If you don’t like the main option that they offer, there are other things for you to pick from. The staff checks in on her often and also offer snacks in-between meals if she needs it. Her room is decent in size and they take out the trash every day. One service they also offer is laundry to which they do 2 times a week. They also offer activities like movies, yoga, piano, going to the hairdresser, and they take my mom on walks outside. I would really recommend this facility to the families who would be able to afford it.

My loved one was not at Sunrise very long before she passed away but they did everything they could to make her comfortable. They did their best to provide us with anything we needed. They are in the process of remodeling and I think it will be even nicer when they are through. They offered a wide variety of food options and the food tasted good. They offered daily activities such as card games and bingo. I would recommend this community.
