I've had to be there a couple times now. Most of the staff is very helpful especially once you see what they deal with day in and day out. The nurses are great, the people in therapy and the ones who run the activities are amazing. The food..... Well it's edible usually

Not very well ran. Food not very good. They forgot to set transportation for orthopedic appointment twice in a row. The nurses have favorite patients

Do I regret going home yes and no! Bakersfield post acute has been my home for a month. Everyone has been so friendly, So dedicated to a job that often gets no thanks. And sicenity in giving that reflects a deep satisfaction in the job they preform. All personal gets a five stars from. Office workers,Rns,CNA'S, kitchen, maintenance and house keeping. And everyone I may have left out. The food is delicious with well prepared mean- plus snacks if you want them. I've never had a sour face when wanting more or something different it was always "of course you can" The activities center is a blessing if you only get out of bed and participate. A good way to socialize and relive the boredom in your room. Therapy is great! They aren't here to cure you, but rather to help and to improve your heath and shorten the time of your stay to return home. It's all up to you and the effort you give yourself. I will miss you all!! As I leave and return home. You've all made my experience very exceptional and I bless each of you for you caring affection and attention. I do recommend Bakersfield Post Acute to future people seeking a good rehab facility I certainly do- the first on my suggested list! Gordon Miller

We had several issues with call lights that I personally witnessed. Taking longer then 15 min to answer. As we were being discharged the med tech hastily signed moms meds out. After doing inventory at home found she was missing a prescribed pain killer only to have to return to the facility to further find it was a large scrip she hadent got. Asking to talk to the highest ranking person in the facility to find there was no one on shift no supervision for the whole weekend. Very sad

My family member recently received skilled care at Bakersfield Post Acute. Our family visited the facility multiple times a day during this time. I have an understanding of how this facility operates and can provide a fair and honest review. The therapy they received was helpful and productive to their healing. They learned new things during each session and felt motivated to succeed. We encountered several workers deserving recognition for their dedication and care. Deontranay is a CNA who works the knock shift (10 PM - 6 AM). Providing outstanding care during this challenging shift, she checked in on them consistently every night she worked. They spoke highly of Deontranay every morning after she had helped them the night before, praising her exceptional dedication. Aliyah, a nurse at the facility, was professional, and consistently performed her job well. She always checked on them when passing by, even when busy. Last, Sarah was a helpful CNA who was sweet and kind. Nessie (Director of Nursing) and Arlene promptly addressed and corrected our concerns. While the facility may have areas for improvement, I believe they are actively working towards the common goal of supporting and helping families. I do recommend it.

My Mom is a resident at this facility and I've been impressed by the care and empathy of the staff. It's not an easy thing, being here, but I do think that most of the folks that work here try to make it easier. Sometimes it can feel a little chaotic, but I credit that to the occasional staffing shortage. Overall, I am thankful for the competent staff, clean environment and most importantly kindness shown. Would recommend.

My father stayed at Bakersfield Post Acute skilled nursing facility from February 24th, 2024, to March 13th, 2024, and they took wonderful care of him the entire time. Arlene is amazing, she truly goes above and beyond the call of duty. She addressed and took care of my concerns in a timely fashion, with professionalism, and a smile on her face. Thank you, Arlene. All staff I had contact with were friendly, professional, and proficient. Hailey, Antonio, Marcy, Marlos, Maria, and Patrice to name a few. Thank you for taking such good care of my dad!!!

Great staff, attentive and caring. Nursing staff is really sharp and the CNA are always coming around checking. Oh, and the physical therapy staff is great. They know what they’re doing and they’re very patient but tough too. They don’t let you lay around but they make it fun also.

Windsor wasn't our first choice, but it is now!!! My sister was turned away from from rehab at 3 other skilled nursing facilities because of her failure to thrive diagnosis. Windsor gave her a chance and she has done well. Great staff from the management to the rehab, to the healthcare, the aides and everyone else we have met. Very well run, clean and compassionate - We highly recommend!
December 2022
My mom stayed there for 1 week and they were very accommodating. Definitely a great place
December 2022
They welcome my husband with open arms. He had to make some adjustments to make himself comfortable. A guy thing, he broke his neck in two places. He requires help so he doesn’t fall again. He is eating more here, I guess there are better cooks. I’ll follow up more later.

Cody the administrator took care of all my needs and was incredibly helpful! Great place. Send your loved ones here!
December 2022
Great looking facility friendly staff
November 2022
My poor sweet mama was miserable the duration of her time here, she's currently definitely more cared for and loved. I personally had no beef with the medical team, nurses etc, most of them really loved my mama and knew me by name. Admin is a different story. Worst administration ever. Tried to discharge my dementia sticken mother on multiple occasions. I feel like the administrator of this facility had it out for my mom. She's currently thriving and doing better than she has in a long time. All in all, good nurses and cnas..don't recommend specifically for admin purposes.

Love this place took really good care of me and food was great stuff always friendly
July 2020
Overall my family has been very pleased with the care of our loved one. The participation of our family definitely impacted the health of our loved one received. The communication between family and staff is very important to ensure understanding of the health and welfare of our family member. Having the care conference meetings with staff is very important and cleared up many concerns we had. Yes we’ve had many misunderstandings and aggravations along the way but again the involvement of family members is so very important. The staff and Director have been great. We are truly appreciative and grateful for the staff during this pandemic. Thank you Evergreen!

The staff here is great! The Nurses care and are very experienced. They have students train here also, so yeah know it’s a great place to learn at. The facility is always clean and smells great compared to other stinky facilities that don’t clean up properly. Overall cannot complaint, I love Evergreen!

They have taken care of my mom a few times over the years. Very good care!
January 2019
My mom spent the last few months of her life at Evergreen. Between my Dad, my sister and myself, we visited her every day, sometime, multiple times a day, and all during that time, I never had an issues with the staff. They were very caring and dear to my mom. The place was kept clean and the staff was very attentive. I am very happy that they were available for my mom. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because my mom lost her gold necklace that she always wore. A word of caution to anyone with loved ones in short or long term caring facilities - do not bring anything of value that can be easily lost.

This place is great. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. I cannot mention everyone but there are few that really stood out as people who really care and have refined work ethics they are Chris, Roxy, and Arlene the CNAs I interacted with. Also the physical therapist and occupational therapist really know their stuff and help me come out of here stronger and healthier. The kitchen staff what was also great and the food is very good. So thank you everyone that that works there. Aldrian t Santiago.

They ya le care my mom
August 2017
I have placed my mother here for 5 days 4 out of the 5 days I'm fighting with the staff about poor care to my mother. As an X CNA I am highly disappointed at the verbal treatment by their physical therapist there. I'm disappointed with the facility overall. I have set to have appointments twice and twice they have been cancelled they don't seem to want our business. My next step is to contact local ombudsman.
April 2017
Best facility I have ever been to smell is great "that alone means a lot " the supplies that Evergreen uses for their Residents are more that Exceptional quality. They treat their Residents like family should and provide professional care as a facility should. My number one choice for Post Acute Care or Even Employment. To all that keep Evergreen so Green God bless !!

They were great the first time my mom went in,but this time they were kinda crappy.
November 2015
When my loved one was released from a primary hospital her goal was to return to her home. She went to Evergreen where she received excellent care. She had a great room with lots of space and big windows. The nursing staff was knowledgable and efficient while always being polite and considerate. While the patient is their primary concern, they were very kind and accommodating to family and friends as well. The physical therapy and occupational therapy professionals were wonderful. They gave her opportunities to progress at a comfortable rate and were flexible enough to work with her when she was ready. When the time came, administrative staff helped to coordinate with hospice and made sure her last days were comfortable. Staff was even more attentive, making sure we all had the support we needed. God bless all the wonderful people at Evergreen for their skill and compassion!
