Melissa at Brookdale worked with us in being able to afford to keep our dad there. The staff treated our dad with care and compassion and made him feel at home for the three years he lived there. We had no complaints, only praises. Our dad was happy and content there.

Malisa is the first person that I met. And then Joyce. After that I met Mark. And then Christy and Erica, and Lisa, Jennifer, and Vanessa. Everyone here, as well as the med techs, cooks, Kelly (the activities director), Eric the bus driver, and anyone else I failed to mention that knows my mom Charlsie, treated her with such care and grace and compassion. My whole family and I have been blessed to know the staff at Brookdale Auburn and I never once worried about my mother's safety and well-being, during her two years there. She has moved on to a new facility in Roseville due to the progression of her dementia and the resources she needs that are closer to our home. A heartfelt "Thank You" for all of the staff and personnel at Brookdale Auburn. 5 stars is not enough of a rating. This is a top tier Senior living facility. Special mention to Malisa and Joyce who convinced me to come to Brookdale and tour the place before I met my mom. If not for the tour, we would have gone somewhere else .

My mom lived a Brookdale in Auburn California for about a year and a half.Until her health failed she was very happy there. She had friends and enjoyed activities and outings. When her dementia and other physical ailments became more severe the staff stepped right up and continued to care for her with kindness and grace. They worked well with the Hospice staff and were always available to me if I had questions or concerns. This made me feel very confident that mom was getting everything she needed, particularly because I live quite far away and couldn’t be there as often as I would have liked. I cannot say enough good things about them, particularly Malissa, Christy and Erica. Every staff member was kind and friendly towards my mom and our family. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale to people.

Brookdale Senior Living is such a wonderful place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how warm and welcoming the environment is. My mom has been a resident at Brookdale Auburn for four months. She was reluctant to leave her home, afraid of change & not being in control. Each day she acclimates more & more. The staff goes out of their way to make her feel safe, cared for, & a priority. The community is well managed & staff is extremely responsive. I love the positive & cheerful attitudes of all staff members. They get to know the residents & families personally & adjust care accordingly. Each day they have a broad range of activities that offer social interactions & mental stimulation. I’m so relieved we made this move. The monthly price is too high. The people working there are nice and work hard. Meal portions are not consistant. Some meals are good and some tiny.

I moved my mom here 2 months ago from skilled nursing. They made the transition so easy. She had a tough adjustment at first, but I am able stay with her as needed to get her settled. Staff has been very attentive and helpful to her during this rough time. She loves the warm friendly environment and activities.

Brookdale, Auburn, is a delightful place to live. The Director, Malissa, is caring and available. The Dining Room staff is efficient and amazing at remembering many repeat items for residents. The food is great; activities varied and excursions fun. Caregivers are friendly and helpful. I could not recommend the Auburn location more highly!!

We’re very happy with Brookdale Auburn care and staff. The apartments are very nice and well designed. The grounds are lovely and having a bird feeder is an extra bonus! So happy to have a quality facility in Auburn so close to me, medical staff and the hospital.

I have been to Emerald Hills several times over the past few years and have had a great experience each time. The care staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. This is a good community with good leadership and great care staff.
