my friend's mother greatly enjoys this retirement community; they have a lot of activities and great food. . the "assisted living Rucker" units include a small kitchen because you're expected to be served by one of the several diners there. . I would prefer a large fridge as likely found within "independent living" to make my own smoothies with a vitamix. . It is a very nice facility. Our friend is a resident, and we sometimes join her for lunch or dinner either before or after a visit in her unit. She has a beautiful view of the mountains from her patio. There are multiple dining areas in the facility and the food is always very good and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly.

The Hacienda at the Canyon is a wonderful and amazing facility with wonderful staff and amazing accommodations and attributes. It was a joy to visit our family members that live in The Gardens Memory Care unit, and everyone was super nice and friendly and willing to do whatever to make our visit amazing.

My dad has been a resident at the Gardens for two months and we could not be happier with the care he is receiving. The team at the Gardens is superior. They're professional, kind and wonderful communicators. It's made this difficult transition to memory care much easier on our family.

The Hacienda at the Canyon is one of Tucson's treasures. Set up high in the Catalina Foothills, the location is gorgeous. The Gardens at the Hacienda at the Canyon is 5 stars. It's easy to move your loved one into memory care, but when you do, this is a good place. The staff is loving and care for the residents. The common rooms are lovely and lots of programs. A shout out to NAYAs Nora and Kim. wonderful ladies. Ashley is great helping with move ins.

I recently had Michael cater a birthday brunch for me. The quiches were delicious, all of the food and utensils were delivered promptly and then picked up. Made entertaining a large group in my bungalow super easy.

As people grow older it is not uncommon for them to need some help and assistance with their lives. Living a continent away, our sons expressed their concerns for us since they would not physically be in a position to help when needed. Thus, we have considered our move into The Hacienda at the Canyon to be "a gift to our children"." With its beautiful surroundings and caring environment it has given all of us the Peace of Mind we felt we needed.

I'm not sure there a nicer place with better service in the country than Hacienda. I know the care you must take when helping your parent find a place and that includes the hope that everyone from the Managing Director to the caregivers to the waiters and waitresses treat your loved one as you love them today. The Hacienda is that place and it's remarkable the standard they set - it's what you would hope for even in a perfect situation. Can't recommend this place enough.

The food service here is wonderful ... with all the restaurant and menu choices, there is truly something for everyone. The Food Service Director, Monica, has done a great job developing a team of Associates to care for the individual needs of each of us, especially those who are more challenged in organizing their orders ..... the individual attention is amazing and all part of the care put into our overall dining and event experiences. Compared to the offerings I have experience at other living experiences, the Hacienda is top-notch for prep, presentation, service and Quality! We are lucky!

My visiting family and I had dinner in the Morrow (main dining area)on August 4. Our server, Fallon, gave us excellent and friendly service. My granddaughter said it was 5 star service.

My mom moved in to The Hacienda at the Canyon a bit over a year ago. She is still very independent (at 84!) and Hacienda provides her with a fun, active lifestyle while she can still enjoy the freedom to do her own thing. She enjoys the restaurants and regular activities and has performed in the musicals the last two years. Her apartment is just the right size for her and includes an extra room for visitors. During the pandemic, they had very heightened restrictions, some a bit extreme (in my opinion), but in the end, the goal was to keep their residents and staff safe. I have visited her a few times, staying in her apartment. The staff are very friendly, the food in the restaurants delicious, the environment very clean and modernly decorated. I love the display of art from some of their residents. It takes quite an investment to move in there but to someone with the means, it's a great choice. Great way to make new friends and simplify ones life in their later years. I know my mom will have many, many happy years at Hacienda. I look forward to our visits and my stay there each time.
