Agave Hills was recommended to my friend for her mother by a person at the hospital. As she was waiting to be with God, she was taken care of by Meriem and his staff. They cared for her not as if she were dying, but as if she was going to make it, with such tenderness and care. We were allowed to stay after visiting hours and come and go as we pleased, not knowing when she would pass. Every time we left for the night, hugs and thank you’s were given to Meriem as he was ALWAYS there. The staff were so accommodating and friendly that we took to them immediately. She had a beautiful cozy, homey room with a porch. Just like you would have at your own home. I will never forget Meriem and his staff and if needed, will use their services in the future. Bless you guys!! ❤️

My mom stayed at Agavi Hills on Hospice. Merien the owner and his staff wonderful care of my mom. I was there day & night. His staff is friendly and very efficient. I would ask for something & right away it was immediately taken care of. I was also very impressed with the daily care of others residing there. They had such great food, I would invite myself to lunch, etc. I love then, the ladies are outstanding. I would recommend this private, at home feel assisted living to any who haven't decided where to go...THIS IS YOUR PLACE.

Merian and his staff are exceptional. My mom stayed there just a short while on Hospice care. They were very attentive and immediately would assist with my mom. The love and caring they showed her was touching! I couldn't have done this without their help. Thank you so much for all that you did for my mom and accommodating all my late-night visits just to be with her. I appreciate you Merian and your staff is 5 stars! We strongly recommend this location for your senior family members. They were kind, caring and went out of their way for my father and our family. Agave Hills was by name recommended for my father, with the owners reputation known far and wide in the industry for his compassion, concern, and genuine care for their residents and their family. Every person from the Hospice Coordinator, hospital nurses, and funeral homes told us we were fortunate to have chosen Agave Hills and they were 100% correct. Thank you to the nurses and family of Agave Hills, we are forever grateful to you during my fathers time with you.

From the moment I walked through the doors I knew that my dad would be comfortable and loved at Agave Hills. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and the owner Marien is absolutely an angel. They care so deeply for his residents. I also love that the residents eat all meals together at the dining room table. If you come during meal time the aroma will make you want to pull up a chair!

My father in law spent the last months of his life and passed away at age 91 in the care of the loving staff at Agave Hills in Tucson. My husband and I live 1,000 miles away in Texas. As soon as we moved him to Agave Hills our stress over his care disappeared. Marien and his staff, along with the Pathways Hospice, took care of him as if he was family. We will forever be in their debt.

As a hospice RN Casemanager I often have families ask for referrals to adult care homes for their loved ones. At the top of my list is Agave Hills. The owner Marien is one if the most compassionate and dedicated people I have met. He works along side his employees in the care of each resident. He goes above and beyond, working with families to help make it possible for them to get their loved one a place at the home. Meals are nutritious, and tasteful. Some of my patients with lost appetites began to eat again! Agave Hills appointments are cozy and home-like, with many new upgrades throughout. Marien also advocates for all his residents, insuring all their meds are correct and ordered, as well as any other needs are met as they occur. I cant say enough good things about Agave Hills, and the owner Marien!

Finding a good assisted-living facility for a loved one at an affordable price can be a daunting task. But with a little luck and perhaps some divine intervention, I was successful in doing just that. Agave Hills Assisted Living is the perfect place for my loved one, who is a 96 year old WWII Veteran. He was able to bring some of his own furniture to use in a private room. From the beginning, the owner, Marien Ekandza and his staff have treated him like a member of the family and with respect and dignity. The rooms are kept clean and even smell clean. His meds are administered by staff as are shower and toilet assistance. They help him get dressed each day and ready for bed at night. He receives 3 meals a day and occasional snacks.The facility is a converted home capable of housing around 10 residents when full. It is nicely laid out and is easy to access. Having experienced the larger, overpriced corporate run facilities, Agave Hills is a welcome change in the level of service and price while providing a more homelike atmosphere. There is a common area where visitors may come to visit their loved one highly recommend Agave Hills to anyone who has a loved one in need of quality care. Be sure to check them out.

I am so grateful that we were able have my mother stay at Agave Hills the last few days of her life. Stricken with very aggressive ovarian cancer, her stay was not that long. But Marian and Manny, and the rest of the staff, were both caring and attentive without being obtrusive. She was tended to with warmth and sensitivity, and I was able to be with her constantly. The facility is quiet, clean and comfortable, and not fussy at all, which I appreciated.

My husband was the first occupant at Agave Hills. We had met Marian at a previous establishment over a period of a year and a half and had been impressed by his patience and obvious care and respect for the clients. When we found out that he was opening his own place and we were in need we requested Agave Hills.Not only is the price reasonable but Marians good nature and sensitivity is priceless in circumstances that are often overwhelming to the patient and to the family. As I visited my husband daily I watched as Marian and his wife revitalized a tired old establishment into a bright and cheery place with paint, plants, pictures, and perseverance. I dropped in on Easter and now the porch is opened up making a pleasant place for families to chat with the more mobile clients or just a place to catch a breath and calm your spirit.

This place is great! Our father needed a place that was not too expensive. He has been treated so well, the food is wonderful and balanced. Marion and Manny go above and beyond to make sure my dad is comfortable! Also the place is very homey and clean. So grateful and thank u!
