Want to give a special thank you to Tempe Post Acute for taking care of my grandfather during his stay there. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had about his condition updates, the facility was clean and he overall enjoyed his stay.
July 2026
My initial interaction with Tempe Post Acute was with the staff. They were patient and kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. They did an excellent job setting proper expectations and communicating openly. The facility was clean and smelled good. Highly recommended!

July 2026
I completed my CNA clinical hours here, and it was a great experience. I enjoyed helping both the staff and the patients, and everyone was welcoming and supportive. I think this is a great place to complete your clinical hours if you're in a CNA program. My long-term goal is to become a nurse, and this experience gave me valuable hands-on learning that helped strengthen my confidence and skills. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this facility to other CNA students. This place could use some improvement when it comes to cleanliness and organization. Other than that, it's an okay place, and I was able to accomplish what I needed to do. Overall, it was a decent experience.
July 2026
I had a great experience completing my CNA clinicals at Tempe Post Acute. The staff was welcoming, and I gained valuable hands-on experience. It can be a little challenging because you’re expected to be more independent and do many tasks on your own, but that’s great practice and helps build confidence. There is some room for improvement when it comes to teaching and guiding CNA students, as more instruction and feedback would make the learning experience even better. Overall, I’m grateful for the opportunity and everything I learned during my clinicals.
July 2026
I had a great experience doing my clinical at Tempe Acute Post. The staff was caring, professional, and always willing to help. They made me feel comfortable and supported throughout my time there. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent care!
July 2026
Great staff and excellent care! Everyone was kind, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend Tempe Acute Post.
July 2026
I was here for a couple weeks after surgery. 1) Nurses have more than 15 patients per nurse and rely on student nurses and CNAs. 2) The place is really clean but not hospital level clean. 3) The therapy everyday is worth it. 4) I fell when I was there and I can tell you there is definitely some kind of protocol or something in place for falls. 5) Patient communication could be better.
July 2026
Not getting things done in the apartment

I had the best experience at Tempe post Acute with my clinicals and wouldn’t have wish to go anywhere else!
June 2026
Really don’t know where to startfirst the PT people were extraordinary and basically the only plus I can give the facility now the negative per our experience with the care my sister received or lack there of, call lights are answered anywhere from 20-60 minutes and a few times longer, my sister was immobile and due to her larger size needed to be helped into a wheelchair with a manual lift which was not available half the time, she wore an adult diaper which was changed about every 8 HOURS which led to the skin on her bottom breaking down and bleeding, they used one tube of zinc oxide then told her they didn’t have anymore and we had to provide that for her which we did the worst case of neglect was she was left in the dining room (which is supposed to be checked and closed off by 7pm?) till she managed to get to the entrance and holler for help at 10pmadding insult to injury the CNA (Alma)who took over her care at 4ish never looked for her but tried to cover up her neglect by yelling at my sister telling her she was told to be back in her room earlier and didn’t comply my sister had to be assisted into the dining room for lunch and that’s where she stayed for activities, her oxygen had to be plugged into the wall because all their o2 canisters were empty I know about this event because she called me at 10:30pm to tell me.. I in good faith cannot recommend this facility to anyone.. we are looking into reporting these infractions but we might have missed that window
June 2026
I had the opportunity to complete my CNA student clinical at Tempe Post Acute, and it was a great experience. The staff was always willing to teach and patient which made it a great place to learn. I got great hands-on experience and the staff guided me through everything, making sure I felt comfortable and confident. The nurses and CNA's treated all residents with respect. The facility itself is clean and also offered many enjoyable activities that kept residents engaged. During my clinical, I enjoyed getting to know many of the residents and they seemed happy and very well cared for. Tempe Post Acute is a great spot for residents and CNA students and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality care to complete their clinicals at.
June 2026

June 2026
I question a lot ii think I now see why they get some better ratings/. of the 5s on here since they don’t need to be varified. I want to be fair in my rating. Most staff is truly a pleasure so it is why it deserves at least a 3 star. When I first got there , I had picked it because it was 5 star and I had seen others so I figured this must be even nicer.. everyone I met was shocked it was a 5 star, it is the least nice I had ever seen. The beds are awful, bottom sheet is rugged and made me itch. The mattress very thin so you feel all the metal cranks below it. Room very basic, no real place for visitors to sit. You look for a metal chair or give them your wheelchair. Room old depressing. Food, some was ok, some was quite awful.see lots of food waste. Roommatesthey also take in Mentally ill without physical issues. While I was there I knew 3 people having to move due to having psychotic roommates. Getting meds correctly or quick in serious cases can be awful. I was diagnosed on Monday. I had pink eye and meds were supposed to to meds, they never came, I had to order over the counter and pay for it the itching was so bad. And I developed an itchy rash all over, I finally received my pink eye meds 4-5 days later. It really looks and feels like a nursing home, not a rehab
June 2026
I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for somewhere for their loved ones, all the staff and residents are amazing and super kind. They truly care for each and every resident with personalized care!

My family has experienced 5 SNF/Rehab facilities within the last 2 years. We have learned how critical it is to advocate for your loved one. Do not settle for waiting, excuses, and inadequate care. Ask loads of questions, especially if something just doesn't feel right or you just aren't getting the results you expect. The facility here was much like the others. Run down, out dated, strong odors, mediocre food, and LOUD. The daily care staff was kind, caring, and responsive. However they were not armed with information and we often received "let me check" when asked for simple information. Most times, questions were left unanswered. The Nurse Tandra was useless. Her tactic is to talk fast and gloss over any specific questions that were asked. Often providing excuses or guesses as to why our mother was experiencing symptoms. She dismissed my elderly mother's capability to understand and made no effort to ensure her patient was comprehending any conversation. I believe the term "gaslighting' is her MO. The overall lack of communication from the initial Admin team was completely unacceptable and our biggest complaint; however they did make some changes for improvement. Requests for information were often left unanswered. Updates were not provided as promised and we often had no idea about our mother's care plan or progress. To end on a positive note, Tanya and her PT team were outstanding. The PT team and daily care staff deserve all the stars. As a family, we understand the limitation for care facilities when working with insurance. If you choose Tempe Post Acute, stay diligent.

April 2026
Cons: Not unusual; I rang the bell starting at 3 a.m. for excruciating pain. FINALLY, at 6 a.m. received aid. One dinner looked exactly like The Farmer's Dog, fresh dog food. Could not/would not eat. Food always cold and greasy except good grilled chicken salad. Tried to eat it often. Most CNA's nice but always understaffed. Be prepared to wait for EVERYTHING. Wet diapers, oozing bandages, rude service. NP, PA always acted like U R keeping them from fav TV show. Lousy bedside manner the higher up you go. Pro: 50% clean, most of the time. Janitorial efforts disgusting 🫣

After 2 days, my experience at this facility has been stellar. The staff is wonderful. They are attentive, caring, friendly and, most importantly, very professional. I'm expecting to be here for at least 2 to 3 weeks, so if the trend continues, all will be well.

Such a great place, the food is great! 10/10! 🙂
March 2026
At a time when your having a need to count on others to do what seemed so miniscule in life. Its really great to see a young heart be so understanding to the elders. Isabella (nursing assistant) is a God send. As others seem to look the other way or tell you they'd be right back and never come. Isabella is on point. Seems when I just look up she's already on it. She's been awesome!! Thank you
March 2026
You can tell the employees genuinely care. The facility is clean, organized, and the care team is very responsive.
March 2026
My mom was here for 2 weeks recovering from Pneumonia. The rooms are shared with a curtain divider, each bed has its own remote and tv and their own place for clothes and a small night stand. The care here was good my mom recieved oxygen, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The staff was attentive and friendly. My mom had her bday there, and they placed a banner in her room, and gave her a birthday hat and card. My mom's bday is also close to Valnetines day and on that day the staff went to all the patients rooms and handed out flowers and were very joyful. My mom was happy here and the staff try hard to take care of our love ones.I appreciate all that they did for her to get her back home to us. Care management Kinsey was also great and communicated my mom's updates to me and helped us setup post home care and medical equipment we needed.

We chose Tempe Post Acute for our family member and I’m glad we did. The team has been attentive and respectful, and they’ve kept us updated throughout the process. The admissions team made the transition from the hospital to skilled nursing smooth and easy, which took a lot of stress off our family.
February 2026
The team at Tempe post acute is so friendly and welcoming! The team here consistently goes above and beyond to provide quality patient care. Dawn, the activities director, is always thinking outside of the box to help bring joy to the residents’ days. Brittany and Kinsey in case management and social services are always helpful in navigating patient needs. Kathy is always a friendly face at the front desk. Aaron and Sarah in admissions are also the best.

I see firsthand how much the team at Tempe Post Acute looks out for both patients and each other. You can tell they communicate well, support one another, and make sure no one falls through the cracks. Because of that, patients seem noticeably calmer and more comfortable while they’re recovering. That kind of teamwork really matters.

January 2026
As a transportation driver who regularly picks up and drops off residents at this facility, in Tempe, AZ, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing firsthand how the staff cares for everyone. Tabitha, one of the CNAs, stands out as truly exceptional. She is kind, compassionate, attentive, and always goes above and beyond. Whether it’s helping residents with mobility, offering a warm smile and encouraging words, or coordinating smoothly during pickups/drop-offs, Tabitha makes the experience positive for both residents and those of us who work with the facility. Her dedication and positive attitude shine through every time I see her”she’s the kind of caregiver who makes a tough job feel uplifting. Facilities like this are lucky to have someone like Tabitha on the team. She deserves all the recognition! Highly recommend her care to anyone with loved ones here. Thank you, Tabitha”you’re amazing!
January 2026
They lie about being 24 hours. The place has Bed bugs and roaches. Definitely not the 5 stars we were told. Terrible conditions. Uncaring staff. Walk through and see old people trying to get your attention for help because nobody is answering their calls for assistance.
January 2026
January 2026
December 2025
I can only believe their 5 star rating is a result of employees writing reviews. My mother was in there after a fall and this place is filthy and the food looks the prison food you see on tv. The staff for the most part inconsiderate and there is zero accountability with the staff blaming other staff members. We have healthcare providers in our family and they all say this place is horrible, I saw it for myself. My mother was supposed to have a walker and a shower chair ordered and sent to my house for her, that didn’t happen. [name removed]- director of case management, fumbled this more than once and is impossible to get hold of and rarely will return a call. I would never recommend this toilet to anyone! If you love the people in your family, do not take them here! This place is horrible!
August 2025
I DID NOT WANT TO GIVE THEM ANY STARS!!!!!!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to come here for your rehab. When you are not in therapy you normally sit in your room. One day I needed something so I hit the call button, it was almost 2 hours before someone came in...Today ( 8/4/25) an item was missing from my supper tray. I hit the call button at 4;25 and here it's almost 5 and still no response. What would happen if I was not able to breathe? I would die because the CNA's are too busy laughing and talking loud to come to the room. Also at night and early morning again, talking loud and laughing. I will never come here again. I'd get more help at home. And I will keep writing reviews while I'm here.
December 2024
My stay here was only a month and 1/2. The staff was nice very helpful courteous and Knowledgeable> My stay was pleasant. I do recommend them
September 2024
This place is unprofessional, inconsiderate, dirty, the management team and overall staff is disrespectful and the place is ran down, the food comes out cold, call lights are ringing and staff are just hanging out at the front desk. The Don and Adon aren’t people you want to talk to because they don’t care if you’re complaining on the staff. The administrator is never in the building when trying to get in contact with him it’s either voicemail or no returned calls when trying to voice a complaint. The staffer is rude and disrespectful. The list goes on this is not a place I would ever send a family member back to. My grandmother hated and stated she will be filing a complaint with the state for poor care.
February 2023
I was here for about 3 weeks. It's the worst place you anyone can go to. They put me next to a town molester. I wanted to fight me. I got lied on this to come here. This place is ridiculous and then I got a nurse walking around with the star Satan in his chest
October 2022
Been admitted in Sept just had shower waiting for my meds,no show since 5am. Foods dry don't use call button no one comes, I'm waiting for them to release me so I can fix myself I never had verbal abuse till I came here I'm still here.
