Hal the house owner is the most caring and personal house owner there is! He cares deeply about happiness and welll being of his tenants. Paul the house manager is very loving and watchful over his tenants and makes sure they get all the medical things straightened with the doctors. His lovely wife is also very kind, and has taken time out of her day to help cook the house lunch. She also makes sure no birthdays are missed. Lillian the head caregiver is especially gentle with the more feeble tenants, I've noticed. She love to call individuals ' honey " Mary is very gentle when helping you and she has a great sense of humor. We love to laugh together. All the house mates are great at watching over each other and helping each other out. From living here I've lost over 100 pounds because of Hal's focus on health. I now shower myself and have gotten better at walking to and from. The leadership is very much centered into health and happiness and living a happy life.

My grandmother has been at the Banff location for about two years. I am so grateful that my family found this group home where she is so well cared for. I have visited on multiple occasions and it is apparent how the staff care for every resident. The house is clean and tidy no matter the time of day that I visit, and the residents always get the help they need. It is a challenging decision to place an elderly loved one in any type of home or facility—not to mention a difficult transition for the individual entering the home. Paradise for Parents is the place. I am so grateful for Laura, Melanie, Miriam and Elvis for the love and care they have shown to my grandmother. It is all I could ever ask for when I live on the other side of the country

I am a hairdresser to several nursing facilities around the state of Az. I have never come across any place like A Paradise for Parents. The caregivers are Great! In particular Laura over at Banff. Always serving home cooked meals. Making her residents smile . I can tell she enjoys caring for her residents. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a blessing when I found A Paradise for Parents in Surprise AZ! My mother was 98+ when she went there to live--in ill health and not expected to live long. Through the compassionate care of Lydia and her staff, my mother made a full recovery! Hal, the owner, and Lydia and her staff and manager, Aurora, just put on a wonderful 100th Birthday Party for my mother on June 2, 2019. They are the most wonderful people, providing outstanding care along with nutritious meals that my mother loves.

They went out of their way to help us make this adjustmentThe staff were so kind and gentle with our mom, and she would often tell us about them.The house was beautiful and clean - and we were always welcome to visit her at any time...until COVID. Paradise for Parents is by far the best nursing-group home we have ever experienced. My grandmother was at several other facilities and her health was declining, not until we moved her to Paradise did she flourish in this environment. This type of small group care facility feels more like a family then a nursing home. There are 10 residents and a core group of nurses with lead caretaker Lydia, they are all just fantastic with all the residents. The food is phenomenal and every meal is home cooked. I have been visiting my grandmother several times during dinner hours and you can see them cooking in the kitchen and all the ingredients are fresh. Before my grandmother was transfer she wasnt eating much, but now that all her meals are cooked fresh with lots of greens, she has the best appetite Ive seen in years. The personal relationships that the caretakers have with all the residents is very real and heartfelt. All the residents have their own comfy lazy boy chair in the living room and they watch lots of great old movies together. They have weekly live acoustic music with religious gospels and other types of activities to keep the residents entertained. My Grandmother recently had her 100 birthday celebration and the facility planned a wonderful Fiesta party for her. Complete with catered tacos, a live Mariachi band, a huge beautiful cream cake and lots of love. I cant say enough about how wonderful this place is. I feel very safe and sound that my grandmother is cared for here. I couldnt ask for anything better, it feels like home.

If you want a place that feels like home, this is the place. My Dad has been a resident here for two years. Hal, the owner, is very helpful and wants the residence to be comfortable and well cared for. He goes above and beyond for the residence and his staff. He even goes so far as to dress up like Santa for the annual Christmas Party, passing out gifts while an Elvis impersonator sings classic songs in the back ground. The staff is amazing they have such a positive attitude as they do the daily care, meals and keep the house running smooth. They make each holiday and birthday one to remember!

Nora at Royal Paradise has not only been caring, communicative and respectful with my father and the other residents. My mother Mary b was a patient at paradise for parents for the past 3 years before passing away last week. I cant say enough things to describe the wonderful care and compassion that the whole staff always showed my mother up till her last day. She was always clean and neat no matter what time of the day or evening I would visit her. It was such a relief to know my mother was taken care of by this wonderful staff led by lidia. Hal, the owner needs to be recognized also as being compassionate with regards to his staff and all the patients. It certainly gave me peace of mind to know my mother was in such a warm and loving atmosphere.

What I like about A Paradise for Parents is the feeling of family for the residents, which makes them feel at home. The staff is kind and caring, and I hear the food is very good. I like the ability for a resident to sit in the backyard that is tranquil or to be among other residents if they choose.

I am the owner of Mountain View Hospice and we had an emergency placement that needed to happen and Hal and his staff welcomed us and our patient with open arms. I was so grateful that his business put the patient and the patients family first above all else. The love and compassion that the staff showed this family in need was top notch!! I was the Fitness Director at a large scale senior wellness center and recently had the opportunity to visit Hal and tour his locations and I can honestly say that they do it right! I immediately felt like I was part of this wonderful family. The staff love their jobs and it shows. The residents seem at home. And of the dozens of centers I have been to they emphasize health and fitness the most, which is the surefire method to achieving resident happiness.

My sister-in-laws mother has been at this facility for several years and I cant say enough positive things about the folks there, including Hal, the owner. If you are considering assisted living for a relative---pick A Paradise for Parents---you wont be disappointed. Every time I visit Mary B she is pleased with her care and seems very well taken care of. The facility has always been clean and the staff is warm and helpful.
