Since January 2022, this place has gone down hill. Eugenia the prior director did a great job. The two after her have no integrity. They neglected my mother by not watching her properly. She fell, ended up with a black eye. As POA they never notified me with their excuse they dialed the wrong person and that was good enough. She lost 35 pounds in this facility. Miraculously moving to the new home she gained 5 pounds in a few months. They refuse to give my mother 8 days of her pro-rated rent after giving them a 60 day noticed and the 60 days had passed. Kelci Frank's the director tried to do a damage walk through inspection to find damages against my mother. The facility failed to do a move in inspection on my mother yet Kelci said it was legal. I reminded her you have to do a move in move out inspection before it's binding. She said I will do it anyway. Stay away from this place. They have staff members purporting to be nurses when caregiving is their only qualification.

For three years we have brought our miniature therapy horses to Lone Mountain Memory Care for therapy activities. The staff are always kind and courteous to residents at our visits. I truly appreciate how they sit with residents during our visit, making sure each resident is comfortable with the equine visit. The facility is bright and cheerful. We know the decision to bring a family member to a care facility is one of the hardest decisions one must make in life. I would highly recommend Lone Mountain Memory Care for my family.

Lone Mountain Memory Care is an exceptional place to place your loved one. Not only is the care top notch every employee treat the residents like their own family. Lone Mountain became our family and will always be a part of our family. Our mother Gloria was well taken care of . She considered the staff her close friends. Our mother became very ill and had to leave the community . We are so sad to leave all these wonderful residents and their families. If your looking for a wonderful loving safe environment for your loved one this is the place.

This is one of the nicest communities I have toured and I have been through a lot. There is a wonderful atmosphere and the employees seem to be very genuine and caring towards the residents that they care for. It is a very spacious memory care and there are many large areas for the residents to participate in activities. They specialize in only memory care and the caregivers go through very extensive training so that they are equipped to help seniors with all types of dementia. 5 Stars all around!!!

As a CNA myself I can honestly say this is a great place for anyones loved one to stay at. The rooms are always clean, the trash is emptied, and beds are always made. Residents are always clean and well groomed. They are always being taken care of and activities are always available for who ever wants to join! Meal times are never rushed for the residents and they can always take their time eating which in other nursing homes breakfast, lunch, and dinner is always rushed and timed. The residents also have a shower schedule which helps the caregivers keep track of patients shower days. Laundry is also washed separately which prevents residents loosing their clothes. In other nursing homes all of the residents clothes is mixed and washed together which is unsanitary and causes residents to loose their clothes. This assisted facility does not compare to other facilities because the way this memory care is ran is very professional, sanitary, clean, and they really do care about their patients as well as their workers!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Lone Mountain since March 2019. Our family is pleased with the loving care she receives there. Lone Mountain has a registered nurse on site 24 hours-day. There are planned activities throughout the day, field trips and all are fun and engaging. We are also pleased with all the hard working caregivers and staff. The food is made from scratch and the residents can make food choices. All this said, if you are looking for a clean wonderful place for your loved one, this should be on your short list to visit.

Wow, I read the negative review and can only say that person could not have spent any time at the facility with her grandmother! Let me tell you about Lone Mountain Memory Care. When we knew it was time to find a memory care facility, I did the research from home in Chicago because my sister was on the front line with my mom in Scottsdale. I had a list from the rehab facility, but stopped the search when I found their website. My sister went and visited the next day, then I flew out to meet the staff. From the receptionist at the desk to the resident engineer, they are ALL certified caregivers. For the 17 months my mom was there, she was not just well taken care of, she was loved. My mother does not normally join in, but she did everything there. Activities were constant all day, not allowing anyone to just sit in there room. Lone Mountain offers several levels of care giving more or less assistance depending on what the resident needs, but they are not a nursing home. When someone needs the kind of care described in the negative review, I would guess that was what she needed. Unfortunately, our mom reached that level where she needs nursing care and we have had to move on. For a physically capable, memory impaired loved one, you will never do better than Lone Mountain and I thank every last person there for giving my mother and my family the love and care we received. I cannot say enough great things about Lone Mountain Memory Care, the facility, the management, the caregivers and nurses, food and beverage staff , activities and all the staff. They treated my Dad with compassion and understanding. They were proactive about his care and were consistently trying to find was to improve his well-being. I highly recommend Lone Mountain Memory Care for your loved one.

My husband, who is very young was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia. We have been side-by-side, running a business, having a home, three kids, six grandchildren for the last 25 years. My decision to put him at the Lone Mountain Memory Care facility was extremely difficult for all of us. They were sad days and even more sad nights, and guilt not to mention all the sleepless nights and well-meaning friends who told me how sad this was going to be. This was so overwhelming and more than I felt I could handle. However, my husband stayed there for a two week respite. That was difficult. Since I felt it wasnt long enough for me to let go and make his stay permanent I chose to do another two week respite. I was at a crossroads when that time was up and knew I could not take care of him at home alone and run a business. I was so confused sad miserable without my partner and therefore not always the nicest person to the staff at LMMC. However, they walked me through this without being pushy and being very kind and attentive to my needs, took my calls and and tried to be comforting, genuine and accommodating. I could go on and on about the care that my husband is receiving there, but you have to experience it, give it some time and understand that the folks at lone Mountain do this because they have a calling. It is impressive how many activities they have scheduled on a daily basis to keep all the residents there busy, content, organized and happy.

Coping with a loved one with diminished cognition is difficult enough. And when that time comes for placement in a community for professional help this place cant be beat. My family member is already showing significant Improvement. This facility and staff are top of the line professionals. They all have all invovled individuals (patient and family members) needs and personal improvements on the for front at all times. This is place is a must recommend!

I have never experienced a more caring and nurturing environment for my father, who has dementia. Not only is the staff wonderful, the caregivers are very hands-on, and you can tell they really do care about the residents. Lone Mountain is open, very clean, sunny and bright, beautifully decorated and it looks very homey. Best of all, there is interaction all day long with many activities — music, arts, nutritious food and snacks, and even field trips. Everyone who works there knows all the residents by name. I cannot say enough good things about LMMC.

My husband resided at Lone Mountain Memory care for ten months before he passed away. The facility was beautiful with lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows, Everyone has a private room with a bath. The staff was exceptional, kind, funny and knowledgeable about dementia. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They welcomed him when he arrived and were with him when he passed away. They knew all of his likes and dislikes and talked to him every day. They are the kindest people on earth.

Lone Mountain Memory Care is an outstanding A++ facility. My mom moved here in July. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, attentive and very gentle with the wonderful people living here with memory challenges. It is a beautiful place as well. There are activities to suit each and every resident and they encourage the residents to interact. They also encourage all family members to visit often. It feels like family here.
