We just did a second tour of Andara with my mom, who is looking to join a fun, vibrant community for senior independent living. We worked with Ry, and cannot say enough good things about her. She is incredibly knowledgable about the community. She is also very friendly and patient. We had a number of questions and she answered every single one. We’ve toured 6 Senior living communities and this is the one for my mom! Tons of activities and social groups.

What a beautiful place to call home! The assisted living has attentive & caring staff around the clock to attend to resident needs. The dining room has exquisite food. The facilities are well cared for and beautiful. There is an independent living building, assisted living and memory care, so residents are able to age in place. Sometimes residents need a higher level of care, e.g. skilled nursing (sliding scale insulin) Andara is forthcoming in letting residents and their families know when they are no longer able to provide higher level of care. I would prefer a community that cares more about my parents safety than trying to keep them at a facility that can no longer meet their healthcare needs. Bravo Andara! Stellar management & facilites

My mother moved into Andara’s independent building about two months ago. The common areas are bright/clean and the decor is really nice. Andara provides transportation to/from her church every Sunday, which has been very helpful to me. The residents are friendly and my mom enjoys her weight classes, bingo and happy hour w/live music. As I stated before, she’s in the independent living, so I cannot speak to the care provided on the dependent side. She rarely eats in the dining room since she still cooks for herself. However, I think this is one area that needs a little improvement based on my mom’s feedback. It was a tough decision to move my mom into a senior community but Andara has been a great choice so far. The staff have been super helpful and friendly. Karlie and Steve have been fantastic with answering questions and taking care of any issues that have arisen. Definitely take a tour of Andara if you’re searching for a place for a loved one.

This is a lovely community in a prime location, but it's really the culture & vibe inside that's so appealing. The culture is an emphasis on resident care provided in an efficient, timely, and compassionate manner. This is spearheaded by a mutual contact of mine, Jessica, who is Andara's health services director. As a mobile primary care provider, we have the opportunity to work with many professionals, and we take comfort in knowing that our patient's health is in capable hands with Jessica and her staff. The vibe is simple; it's a happy place and the residents take pride in living here. It's their home, after all, and it's clear they enjoy living here and feel well-cared for.

The health care staff on the 2nd floor leave a lot to be desired. They come in the room yelling, "You called me" from the front door. It is obvious they called you otherwise why would you be there?? Thier ability to speak English leaves a lot to be desired. Then to stand there and laugh, thinking it was funny. I can only imagine what happens when the resident is alone. It appears that Andara hires the bottom of the barrel. They increase the resident cost to offset the wages, but the wages for who?? The leadership, the director, who? Because the care or med techs, do nothing but complain about the wages are the lowest for a senior living center and most of them take this job just temporarily and then move on. I guess that explains the nurse turn over as well. Two in the last year.. Food not all that great either for the cost. The expense of living there is not worth it.

My husband and I moved in three months ago and very happy. The staff and all of the workers, i.e., servers, kitchen staff, maintenance and housekeepers are all professional and very friendly. In a matter of a week, they even knew our names and greeted us whenever they saw us. The residents are all treated fairly and given assistance when needed. The food is outstanding. Every day the chef and kitchen staff has a choice of entrees, even very tasty desserts. Numerous types of daily activities are also provided. There is also underground parking for residents and guests.

my parents have been at Andara since October in the independent living. We are just shy of one year and the entire experience has been amazing. All of their staff is loving and caring. They knew my parents name within the first week not just the front desk but everybody it seemed. Recently my mother needed to be moved to memory care, we knew it was coming when we picked the facility. They let my dad start taking my mom over for a few hours a day to see how she did. Not only that but Executive Director would take time out of her day to come over to mom and dad’s apartment and pick up my mom and take her to memory care for a few activities here and there. When the time came to actually move my mom, the entire staff was amazing, but I really need to single out Karlie the Executive Director for going so far above and beyond, I can’t even thank you enough!! I would also like to mention their director of memory care Bharti has been extremely inviting and engaging. Recently we had a small issue with my mom and her communication was fantastic. It was health related and they were on it.Not only calling me right away but also her doctor. I myself am a Hospice Nurse. I have been in this facility multiple times the MedTech Zee loves everybody and is so good on her follow-through and communication. I cannot say enough about this place and would give it a 10 star rating If that was an option. Your family member will truly be loved and cared for in every way. Nice work Andara for making our parents feel loved and cared for.

We moved my Mother-in- Law into Andara this afternoon. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming to her. When we first came to tour Andara, our salesman, Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable in introducing us to the beautiful, updated and clean Senior Living community. He explained in detail all the cost, amenities and services Andara had to offer. We toured a few of the available apartments, which were well appointed. We chose a one bedroom with a den. Although it has only been one day, my Mother-in-Law seems happy to be in such a nice community with friendly residents and helpful staff members.

Let me start out by saying that in today’s world as we all know, there’s a struggle to find qualified staff in senior living homes. However, there’s always one that shines above all the others and Mailani is that person. I speak for myself and my parents in saying how truly blessed and thankful we are to have Mailani as the activities director at Andara. I’ve been watching how the staff here treats their residents and families and feel the need to take this time to highlight such a professional employee. Mailani consistently goes above and beyond to create a vibrant and engaging activities program by tailoring the activities to the elderly of this environment. What a refreshing feeling it is to know she has the necessary skills to effectively communicate her program that so many others lack. She truly demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of our diverse resident population and creates a fun, lively atmosphere during the activities keeping the residents actively involved and even calling them by their names. Such an important thing to do but many today don’t take the time to know each resident by their name. Not a problem for Mailani as I’ve seen her in action. I’ve come to know that it’s in her nature to give this generation the dignity of simply knowing their names. Mailani excels at building relationships with each resident, fostering a sense of connection and belonging with GENUINE care. Yes, GENUINE care!! There are those who just go through the motions and no matter what age or state of mind an elderly resident is in, they can see through that but not so with Mailani!! She is amazing at fostering a strong sense of communication and well-being within the facility. Others who work there could benefit and learn from her strengths in doing so. Mailani knows how to enhance resident engagement with her positive attitude, excellent communication skills, creativity, thoughtful planning and the ability to understand people’s limitations. It is Mailani who saw the struggle my parents had in adjusting from their home to a facility (as many do) by simply giving them the support, love, and interaction needed to continue living here. My folks look forward to seeing her every day and how she enhances their mood and overall quality to continue throughout each day. We feel fortunate and count our blessings to have Mailani as a true asset to Andara. She consistently exceeds the expectation of her dedication to all the residents’ well-being covering social, physical and cognitive stimulation. These are the very reasons we chose to come here. Your new activity person, Mailana, was left messages and email w no common courtesy or professionalism to respond for performing in the first months of 2025. She only responded after I cc'd her new ED. Nothing but excuses. Pretty sad that your loyal performers are dumped and the residents left wondering why aren't we there? Best wishes going forward.

My husband and I recently toured the Andara community. The receptionist was warm and friendly. In the lobby we were able to see photo bio’s of the community management team. It’s always helpful to recognize the leadership in action’ in the facility and understand their roles. There are so many pluses to the community it’s hard to know where to start so I’ll go with my personal favoritesthe individual apartments are absolutely darling! I found them to be very brightly lit and roomy for one person. The fitness areas were very well maintained, nothing appeared dated or in disrepair. The common areas: theater, dining areas, library and card rooms were largely in use and the residents were engaging one another and us as we toured. At the time of the tour we were told there are still some remodeling in process. Overall, this is a community I’d highly recommend.

We've lived at Andara a short 2 months and know we have made the right decision in our efforts to downsize. The community has an extraordinary staff -- all are helpful and have made this transition as easy as one can be. Our apartment is great--the location could not be better and the services are outstanding. At 2 a.m. our first night there was a loud noise in the apartment--the night concierge came up and put new batteries in the smoke alarms! The residents are friendly, fun and we are meeting some wonderful new friends. All in all, we really are happy here.

January 1st of this year, I opened Oasis Senior Advisors of Scottsdale. Within 13 days I was assisting a family in moving their mother to Scottsdale. Two years ago, after we toured 13 senior living communities, my elderly friend who has memory loss chose Andara - and we have been so happy with her choice. She is now in independent living with home care services, and we know that when the time is right, she can move into assisted living. The facility is well maintained and very attractive. Located near shopping and lovely neighborhoods for walks. In addition to a continental breakfast, residents in senior living can choose either lunch or dinner, served by waiters/waitresses in a bright and attractive dining room. There is a well-equipped gym, party rooms, and a small theatre for movies. Andara offers many daily activities from exercise classes to brain bingo and happy hours, which are so important for socialization especially for residents with memory loss. Staff always are friendly helpful. Entrance to apartments is very secure. I count my blessings everyday that this elderly friend is safe and happy at Andara.

My parents moved in last week. Everyone was so wonderful! The staff made them feel at home and responded to our move-in requests almost instantaneously. The food quality is very good, and the chef is sensitive to dietary restrictions. Their apartment is spacious and has lots of storage areas. The other residents were also very nice by introducing themselves and engaging them in conversation. The common area facilities are also very good; the pool, the game room, pool table, library, etc. We are very happy that we chose Andara.
