This is a lovely community in a prime location, but it's really the culture & vibe inside that's so appealing. The culture is an emphasis on resident care provided in an efficient, timely, and compassionate manner. This is spearheaded by a mutual contact of mine, Jessica, who is Andara's health services director. As a mobile primary care provider, we have the opportunity to work with many professionals, and we take comfort in knowing that our patient's health is in capable hands with Jessica and her staff. The vibe is simple; it's a happy place and the residents take pride in living here. It's their home, after all, and it's clear they enjoy living here and feel well-cared for.

My husband and I moved in three months ago and very happy. The staff and all of the workers, i.e., servers, kitchen staff, maintenance and housekeepers are all professional and very friendly. In a matter of a week, they even knew our names and greeted us whenever they saw us. The residents are all treated fairly and given assistance when needed. The food is outstanding. Every day the chef and kitchen staff has a choice of entrees, even very tasty desserts. Numerous types of daily activities are also provided. There is also underground parking for residents and guests.

As a mobile notary, I work with many different senior living communities and I get to go into the communities when they aren't necessarily trying to 'put on a good face' so I get to see a clearer picture of how things are. I have to say, Andara ranks up there with the best! Actually, all of the communities managed or owned by Cogir are amazing! I would recommend them highly!

My husband and I recently toured the Andara community. The receptionist was warm and friendly. In the lobby we were able to see photo bio's of the community management team. It's always helpful to recognize the leadership 'in action' in the facility and understand their roles. There are so many pluses to the community it's hard to know where to start so I'll go with my personal favorites…the individual apartments are absolutely darling! I found them to be very brightly lit and roomy for one person. The fitness areas were very well maintained, nothing appeared dated or in disrepair. The common areas: theater, dining areas, library and card rooms were largely in use and the residents were engaging one another and us as we toured. At the time of the tour we were told there are still some remodeling in process. Overall, this is a community I'd highly recommend.

You will receive top notch professional, and personalized care from Andara. I work with Assisted Living Communities all over the valley….and nobody does it better than Andara. Their Executive Director Grace…and the rest of their staff are extremely professional and really take care of their residents. Also, the community is absolutely STUNNING. Great work!

We've lived at Andara a short 2 months and know we have made the right decision in our efforts to downsize. The community has an extraordinary staff -- all are helpful and have made this transition as easy as one can be. Our apartment is great--the location could not be better and the services are outstanding. At 2 a.m. our first night there was a loud noise in the apartment--the night concierge came up and put new batteries in the smoke alarms! The residents are friendly, fun and we are meeting some wonderful new friends. All in all, we really are happy here.

January 1st of this year, I opened Oasis Senior Advisors of Scottsdale. Within 13 days I was assisting a family in moving their mother to Scottsdale. We toured communities and ultimately, they choose Andara. From day one to move in and the days following, it has been such a positive experience. Way to set the bar high! I cannot say enough about each and every one of you; Peter Lesio the Community Relations Director, Quillyn “Q” Baldwin the Move-in Coordinator, Jennifer “Jen” Van Gysel, RN of Resident Services Director, Jill Taylor the Activities Director, Deb Barth the Executive Director, Karen Lucier the Business Office Manager, and Joe Campaigne the Maintenance Director. I worked here for about 6 or so months. The staff is extremely friendly, compassionate, and hard working. They keep it very clean and professional. The kitchens food is delicious. Also residents were seemly very content. 5 stars for sure.

Been here 4 years and the last 6 months I have seen more projects, better lawn service and amazing Maintenance crew than all the previous years. This place is very lively, positive energy vibes throughout the community. I was really impressed with how well management communicated with not only visitors but residents and staff members. If you are looking for an elegant, positive energy place to retire and call home Andara should be on top of your list. I think the new Executive Director Kristi has a great heart and is doing a wonderful Job!! Jill is great with activities, JV the new chef omg he is great!! every employee has a big smile and its been so wonderful to see the positive change! My parents moved in last week. Everyone was so wonderful! The staff made them feel at home and responded to our move-in requests almost instantaneously. The food quality is very good, and the chef is sensitive to dietary restrictions. Their apartment is spacious and has lots of storage areas. The other residents were also very nice by introducing themselves and engaging them in conversation. The common area facilities are also very good; the pool, the game room, pool table, library, etc. We are very happy that we chose Andara.

Two years ago, after we toured 13 senior living communities, my elderly friend who has memory loss chose Andara - and we have been so happy with her choice. She is now in independent living with home care services, and we know that when the time is right, she can move into assisted living. The facility is well maintained and very attractive. Located near shopping and lovely neighborhoods for walks. In addition to a continental breakfast, residents in senior living can choose either lunch or dinner, served by waiters, waitresses in a bright and attractive dining room. There is a well-equipped gym, party rooms, and a small theatre for movies. Andara offers many daily activities from exercise classes to brain bingo and happy hours, which are so important for socialization especially for residents with memory loss. Staff always are friendly helpful. Entrance to apartments is very secure. I count my blessings everyday that this elderly friend is safe and happy at Andara.
