My father moved into Acoya about two years ago, and I was thrilled when I was finally able to visit him. The facility is just beautiful, with tons of spaces and activities for the residents. Everyone is so friendly, and the food is good. His apartment is the perfect size, and from his window, he has gorgeous views of Pinnacle Peck. The kids and grandkids are so happy that he found this place!!!

I recently moved to Acoya Troon and I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. I am able to continue to do my crafts and sewing, even in my apartment which is cosy and spacious. I give it my highest recommendation!

I am a Senior Care Manager and have worked with many communities. I recently moved a client from her prior care community to Acoya Troon to follow the Executive Director and RN who provide top notch care - The Best I have ever seen. I don't think many people know that some care communities max out on care options in Assisted Living and start pushing your loved ones to an early trip to Memory Care. They do this because it's more affordable to provide care in that setting. This happened to my client and it's just not time for her. She has too much life left to live! Yes, Acoya Troon is beautiful. Yes, they have great food, amenities, and activities. But in this case, Beauty Is Not Skin Deep. They also provide the best care I've ever seen and will continue to allow my client to gracefully age in place. When looking for a care community for your loved one, please make sure you have a complete understanding of the level and cost of care available in Assisted Living before you make your choices. Or, just go to Acoya. Here is my client celebrating her 90th birthday a few days after move-in. I think this says it all. One Year UPDATE and "K" at 91 with a birthday tiara and sash. During the past year, "K" has declined further due to her Parkinson's disease. She now requires more help with her physical needs. Well…just when we thought Acoya Troon couldn't be any more accommodating or helpful, they added an LPN to their staff by the name of Amanda Taylor. Amanda works hard to find out of the box solutions to K's changing needs. She is as dedicated as her family at keeping her safe, engaged and well taken care of. Because of her, and because of the Senior Executive Director, Krista Solomon and the entire team at Acoya Troon, K is able to remain in an independent living setting and is still able to receive the care she needs. The majority of the residents at Acoya are high functioning and independent. But it's a godsend to know that if something happens, your loved one will be able to receive the care they need to age in place for as long as feasibly possible. We are beyond grateful.

Beautiful location with stunning views of Pinnacle Peak Friendly smiling staff. Upper optional menu choices are also available in a lovely cocktail area on the second floor for members and their guests. Very impressive options for those wanting independent or assisted care.

This community looks amazing, I think that's all part to Darren and his team. We moved my dad in recently and Darren made it such a smooth transition for my dad and us. He showed us how all the appliances work along with the thermostat. Gave us his business card and said to call any day and anytime. Extremely good asset to Acoya

I cannot rave enough about Acoya Troon, just upon first arrival I was impressed with the building and the reception desk ladies were friendly and welcoming. We did a tour of the facility and met with Karen who is an absolute doll. The amount of activities they have all day and events going on is amazing. Every resident we came across was friendly and said hello. Definitely would recommend!

When Acoya Troon opened in November 2020 I was the first to move into this exquisitely decorated facility sitting amongst million-dollar properties between Pinnacle Peak and Troon Mountain in northern Scottsdale. The scenery is beautiful in every direction. The neighborhood once included Pinnacle Peak Patio, Reata Pass, and Greasewood Flats, eliciting fond entertainment memories for many of us, and my current windows overlook the tops of the fabulous Four Seasons Resort. A beautiful, historical, and well-established neighborhood. After moving away for a few months, I realized the many advantages I was missing and recently returned home to Acoya. My Acoya family---staff and fellow residents---graciously welcomed me back into their busy, fun schedule of activities. Friends visiting from other facilities are amazed at the casual personal interactions between staff and residents, at the variety of opportunities for being active (both from personal interests and physical abilities perspectives), and at the high levels of participation by residents. Staff are well-trained professionally, obviously enjoy working here (low attrition rates), and all their energies are directed toward maintaining interests and participation in the activities and supporting residents' needs. As we aging residents enjoy the physical activities, mental challenges, and camaraderie of constant peer involvement, we are also cognizant of the risks involved within the aging process. Although many here are "independent" residents, we all know that---regardless of our personal classification at Acoya--- if we need personal assistance, it will be available immediately. Every resident has a pendant or bracelet call button for summoning help, motion sensors are monitored to be sure we are moving within our apartments, and rigid procedures are in place whenever an emergency occurs. Well-trained concierges and caregivers work 24/7. This provides a level of security not possible in any other type of living arrangement, and Acoya has the best program I have seen anywhere.

This community is like my second home because it is an environment where I get to love and serve residents with a heart of care and compassion. Working at ACOYA TROON gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents by meeting their personal interests and needs; physically, emotionally, spiritually, environmentally, vocationally, nutritionally, with health services which gives residents added purpose in all these dimensions of wellness while enhancing their quality of life. The only thing stunning about this place is the views. Although the facility is nice senior resident do not enjoy the amenities. Such as pool, gym etc. Residents are really friendly, except when the kitchen disappoints. THE KITCHEN ALWAYS DISAPPOINTS & it’s probably the most used amenity. most are independent but all are awesome. As for the staff it’s hard to say they seem really dysfunctional. The General Manger Krista doesn’t know how to hold order at this facility I seen it with my own to eyes she acts as if she doesn’t care. But good luck & put your coins to good use

And, I must say my blood pressure lowers every time I drive up to this community.
