We had the opportunity to do a Luau theme party with Granite Living and it was one of the best crowd we have ever had. The seniors were so involving and happy, they all came up do hula dances, etc. They were also very friendly and making everything easy for us. Not to forget the Staff, they were very fun, very friendly and the residents seem to be so happy with them. It truly felt so friendly and comfortable with everyone around, yet very professional. Thank you for having us over to party with you guys, hope to see you all in the future!

I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful community. Granite Gate is nestled just in the outskirts of Prescott Arizona. The beauty around the community is awesome, but the real beauty is within the walls of this Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. From Katie and Tammy who welcome you so kindly at the front reception to the many other team members. Georgia in the Business Office, Kira the Assistant Director of Nursing, Dakota in Lifestyle 360, Lorri in Sales and Marketing are all so dedicated and willing to help in any way. What mattered the most to me is that the kindness did not stop there, when I met the housekeeping team they were so happy and excited to be working with the residents at Granite Gate and told me they would do anything to help their residents. The fun place was the kitchen. Joshua and his team members were so joyful and fun to be with. Finally and really most important is the front line staff, the Resident Assistants and Medication Technicians that spend every day caring for the wonderful residents of this beautiful community. I witnessed the interaction between team members and the residents and there is genuine care and concern for the entire well being of all who live there. I was welcomed warmly from the start and it was not fake, there is a since of pride and responsibility throughout the entire community. I would highly recommend Granite Gate for you or your loved ones care.

Granite Gate Senior Living is a beautiful senior living community and deserves at the minimum, 10 stars . My 94 year old Mom was told in the hospital that when she was discharged, she wouldn't be able to live alone anymore. Michelle from Care Patrol arranged a tour with Clarissa at Granite Gate and the minute I walked through the lobby I knew this was the place I wanted my Mom to move to. Clarissa was absolutely wonderful. She showed me apartments that had different floor plans and rest of the facility and I was so impressed by the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Since my Mom has moved in, I found the exceptionally caring, compassionate caregivers, med techs and physical therapy staff to be very responsive and supportive to my Mom's needs. They've shown such warmth and care to get Mom involved in activities that she would enjoy. The front desk, housekeeping, dining room, , salon and maintenance staff are always friendly, caring, hard working and always happy to help with a smile. The residents I've met are so happy. Granite Gate also has alot of activities for their residents and takes them on shopping trips and other outings. I no longer worry about Mom because I know she's in caring, capable hands. I'm not ready for assisted living at this stage in my life, but when that time comes, Granite Gate Senior Living will be my choice.

My mother was a resident of BTR- Bridge to Rediscovery (memory floor) for two years. Terra and the BTR caregivers were wonderful! My mother had a very strong demeanor, but the caregivers worked around that and gave her great care. Under the direction of the previous BTR directors, Kayla and GinaMarie, I feel my mother did very well. They took the time to get to know her and made her feel special. The receptionist, transportation group and others did a tremendous job making my mother feel important and cared for. I volunteered there, before COVID, and could really see how things ran. I was very pleased with what I saw.

Tara is in the medical support area and is by far the most qualified professional in her field we've encountered throughout our experience with assisted living providers. Her knowledge of GGSL business practices is first rate and she is always ready to answer the simplest or most difficult questions. For the past three years my non profit military organization has held lunch meetings at Granite Gate. The members really enjoy interacting with the seniors and the veterans who call this home. The dining room has a lovely view of The Dells. The food is fabulous. Chef Josh and his staff truly spoil us with world class culinary delights. Special thanks to Barbara Connors, Sales Director for the facility. Barbara pulls everything together to ensure a great experience for my members. She is involved with the lunch planning, room set up and decorations, coordinates the A.V. items needed, and is hands on the day of our luncheon. I really appreciate care and attention Barbara gives my events. She communicates several times prior to the date, by phone or emails to make sure we have everything we need. It's nice be able to enjoy the event knowing Barbara has everything covered. The new lobby renovations are both elegant and homey. I would highly recommend Granite Gate.

From the time I entered the BTR to the time I departed, I sensed and heard positive and professional staff. The unit was very clean, organized and well maintained. My wife and I came to Granite Gate Senior Living Community because our Granddaughter, who lives in Prescott, wanted us to be closer to her. When we first visited we loved the beautiful setting of the Granite Dells and the Grand Hotel style of the building. We have always enjoyed natural settings as we used to live in Delmar Beach area of San Diego, Ca. We loved hearing the ocean from our home.Our favorite thing about living here is that it is quiet. The food is good and they take great care of us. They keep our apartment nice and clean. The Activities staff work hard to keep us involved and active, particularly during Covid. They will come to get us to participate in Community events or activities. We have been here nine months and have enjoyed every day.

When it came time to retire from General Motors, my 81 year old self and I sold my farm in Michigan and began looking for a place to live in my Michigan home town areas....or in Prescott Arizona where my daughter lives. All had many good features, however, the one that we kept going back to year after year was Granite Gate. I have to admit when my mother first moved in we didnt know if we made the right move. Everyone kept telling me to give it some time, well we did and not only does Mom love it there, I do also! Everyone there is just so very nice and accommodating. All the caregivers are just wonderful and the residents as well. The food has been great. Sure there are days when they have things you dont like but your can order whatever you want all the time. You dont have to go off the specials. This has just turned out to be the best thing that Mom and I decided for her. What a weight off her shoulders and mine. She gets the extra help she needs, plus housekeeping and cooking and I get piece of mind knowing they are there to help her in any type of emergency she may need. LOVE IT.

My father recently moved into Granite Gate. The studio apartments are larger than any of the other facilities we checked out, with a patio and large sliding door that lets the light in. Thats significant when someone goes from a spacious home to an apartment. But, most importantly, hes receiving the social stimulation and physical activity that he really needed at this stage of his life. The staff knew his name before he even moved in, and they greet him with smiles. And, the food is exceptional! I sleep better knowing that hes with caring people in a safe and nurturing environment.

As part of Horses with Hearts Marvelous Mini community outreach, several Horses with Heart volunteers presented a program at a Granite Gate event with 2 of our miniature horses. The residents and staff made us feel immediately welcome and could not have been more gracious. There was ample room for the residents to get hands-on with our minis and for our volunteers to mingle and visit with the staff and the residents and their guests. We hope this will be the beginning of a long relationship with Granite Gate!

A few weeks after I arrived at Granite Gate I wrote a review. At that time Iwas very impressed with the place. I am even more impressed now. Nowno place is perfect but this one comes close. This is my fourth senior living home in four years due to family moves. I have felt it is my home since pulling up late one evening after a journey of 882 miles. As soon as entered the door I was welcomed. The apartment was ready for me. Each person on staff I met was very welcoming. Dinner was better than any I had in the other places. The food is consistantly good. The choices are many and for the most part very tasty. Housekeeping does a great jobespecially keeping the common areas sparkling. As with any move thereare always a few things for maintenance to do and that is always promptly seen to. Transportation guys are always in an upbeat mood and so pleasant to be with. Im sure Ive left out many people Id like to thankor making my first six months almost perfect. I have no complaints. Ive told my family no more moves for me.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I can truly tell you that there is no one of either the staff or residents that I could say I really dont care for them. They try to make special occasions really special and often serve very nice buffet luncheons. And if you have birthdays you wish to celebrate they are eager to help you do that. Before we moved here my daughter and husbands daughter searched the area and checked out available places for us and chose this one- we are very happy with their selection.

My Sister has lived at Granite Gates almost a year now..She was welcomed with a family-like atmosphere, warm and friendly..Her apartment was completely remodeled..great view of the boulders and cozy surroundings. She is very happy about the delicious meals she has each day. She was excited to make a ceramic ring holder..She was even more excited to know about happy hour with great music each Friday afternoon..she truly has many reasons to be happy as she struggles with dementia.I personally have made it my goal to get to know the staff as well as the residents by name and try to always greet them by name and compliments on a job well done.. Janis is the happiest she has been in a long time after surviving cancer and moving from the East coast..She has made many friends along with her little dog..Highly recommend Granite Gates after searching all over Prescott..Hands down the BEST!!

We really appreciate the personal approach to care that all the staff at Granite Gate give to our mom. She has been there for a few months now and consistently reports that all the food is delicious and everyone is so nice! Her room has a beautiful view, she loves having a fireplace, and her sweet kitty loves having a deck to enjoy the outside. After a stroke took away some of her independence several years ago, we are seeing her really perk up now that she can make her own arrangements to participate in the many activities on site. She takes advantage of the transportation services to go shopping, to go to the Y and to go to her long time hair stylist. Our whole family struggled with the transition of moving her from home to Granite Gate, but after checking our all the options, we feel really good that we made the right choice.

I called him every few days when I wasnt in Prescott and he constantly thanked me for finding him such a lovely place to live. This is as good as it gets! he would say. I was lucky in that for half of the year I lived nearby and often visited him there. I had many meals with him and we both found the dining room excellent. The food was wonderful, the service great, and of course being originally designed as a resort hotel it had a rather spectacular setting.I can honestly say I had never seen Warren happier than his last few years he spent living at Granite Gate. He was very social and relished the interaction he had in living with others. He took advantage of as many of the activities as he could, the exercise classes, the library, and participated in the residents council. He had a lovely room too, with an amazing view of the Granite Dells, which he found a really fascinating setting. When Warren required more care, the nurses there provided everything he needed, which made me gain trust in the whole institution. I have had experience with other retirement communities in my immediate family. Some cost more, some cost less, but no organization I have seen has done a better job in caring for seniors and providing a positive living experience. Ill miss him, but I will never forget everything all of you did for him. Thank you and all of the staff there for your care and friendship you gave to Warren.Chris Smith
