I feel that Brookdale is the best place that I have lived and comparing this facility with 3 facilities I lived in Colorado. I especially like its location, close to many shopping facilities and a big Gym.

I love the family environment. Staff was so inviting when i toured the facility. Mom is happy she got a two bedroom unit so she can still do her art. She also gets to visit all the pets that are in there.

My 94 year old mother went to Brookdale for 2 weeks - Respet Care - while we were on vacation. She loved it so much, it was hard to get her to leave! all the staff were helpful and caring. I would recommend this facility to all!

I am so impressed by this facility and the staff here at Brookdale Central PV. This place is a perfect fit! My mom moved in at the beginning of February 2021. We thought it was going to be a big adjustment but the staff at Brookdale are fantastic. I am sincere when I say this place and its employees went above and beyond to see that my mom had an easy transition from living independently in her own home, to moving into assisted living. I want to thank Wesley who helped us get the perfect apartment leased and ready to move in, Angelisa at the front desk who from the very start knew both my sister and I by name whenenever we came in, Jori and Briana who helped get my mom's health care in order before she was released from rehab. Both Bobs who visited my mom so many times when she first arrived, hoping to convince her to participate in some activities. They didn't give up and she now goes to Bingo daily! The many aides on mom's floor who give her hugs, visit with her and are just so friendly, I can't say enough about the people who work there. I wish I knew more of the employees by name as I'd mention them too. We haven't come across one employee who wasn't professional, helpful and just extremely friendly! Even the maintenance guys are over the top in helpfulness! It is true, the place has been around for a while and it may seem a bit dated to some. However, our family sees it as a very clean, comfortable and well run facility. The apartments are cute. Our mom loves the food and the activities are fun. The aides on the floor check on mom all the time and know her by name. The facility is slowly opening all the fun things they had prior to the pandemic and we can't wait to see this place in full swing. I waited until our mom had been at Brookdale for a while before writing this review. I wanted to make sure the great treatment didn't stop after we signed paperwork and moved our mom in. We are as happy as ever with our decision to move our mom into Brookdale Central Paradise Valley. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made for our mom!!

My mother-in-law recently decided that she wanted to move back to AZ, so we researched senior communities that might be a good fit for her. I was VERY impressed with the speedy responsiveness, thorough follow-up, and overall EXCELLENT customer service that I received from both Kevin Pugh and Wesley Wilkins! They went "above & beyond" as they answered our many questions, arranged video tours, and found an affordable apartment and level of care that would be just right for her. We were also impressed with the number of tenured employees at this community who are truly passionate about taking care of the residents' needs. I highly recommend this community.

My 79 year old mother was ready to move into assisted living, but she didn’t know it. She had been living on her own, taking care of her house, driving herself to all of her appointments… and I could tell it was getting to be too much for her (and me)! One day I convinced her to tour the Brookdale communities. I explained that I wanted her input now, so when the time comes, if she is unable to make a decision, we will have a plan. On our drive to Brookdale, my mother told me that she was not ready to leave her home and I assured her that she will move when she is ready. And then Wesley happened…Wesley noticed us pull up, and he came right out to our car and introduced himself. As we entered the facility, he introduced us to the staff and the residents that we encountered. Everyone was so happy and friendly. As Wesley was showing us around, I had an opportunity to say hello to a couple of the residents, and ask them how they liked living at Brookdale. All positive feedback. I could see the wheels spinning as my mother was taking it all in. Towards the end of our tour, we happened to pop into the dining room, and happy hour was taking place. There was music, dancing, appetizers and even a glass of beer! She was SOLD! We both were sold! Wesley has made our transition so much easier than I expected. Please visit Wesley at Brookdale, your parents will thank you.

The staff at Brookdale is great. After talking to numerous people, I found that a lot of their employees have been there for numerous years. Its like one big family between the residents and their staff. I am very confident my mother will love staying here.

Moved my mother-in-law to Brookdale Central Paradise Valley in June. We were impressed from the moment we walked in. Many residents moving about and activities they were enjoying participatingin. Very friendly staff that answered all of our questions and showed us around. As we walked around they knew every resident by name and hugged most of them. Once we moved her in, they took over to make her feel welcome and care for her needs. The nursing staff has been great and the accommodations met her specific needs. She has been in and out of the hospital 5 times this year and in rehab 3 times. Since they have taken care of her medicaitons and caring for her she has stabilized and done very well beyond what we expected. The residents have welcomed her and included her and every staff member has made her feel at home. She has enjoyed the food and the opportunity to eat at any time during opperating hours. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a little extra help on a daily basis. Only gave 4 stars because the parking in front is challenging! Very limited and hard to find a place at certain times. Weve been very pleased since we moved her in and look forward to her living a long time there.

I am neutral regarding this place. My mom was in this place and the quality is there, it is just that it is a big community and overwhelming for someone with Alzheimer disease.

I toured here before and the staff is pretty phenomenal. I met everyone that works there from the Receptionist, to the Sales person, to the Waitresses, to the Office Manager, to the Kitchen manager, to the Nurse, and some of the care providers. They all greeted me with a smile and a handshake. It appeared that everyone enjoyed being there.

My name is Florence and I have been a resident at Brookdale for 4 years and everyone hangs out with Michelle (leadership) because they love her so much. If it was not for Michelle I would not be here. It angers me that someone on this website thinks that it is a bad thing for the employees to be close with their management. We are happy here, most of the employees are wonderful and this is a great place to live!!

I moved here a few months ago. There is nothing bad about this place. Everyone is friendly especially the staff. They are patient and very helpful. We dont have to cook, drivers are very courteous - Dr appointments are accomodated even if its far, and the caregivers seem to truly care about what they are doing. The staff greets me with a smile everyday and hugs. Every encounter leaves me feeling good. I can talk to the administration one on one at any time. We feel as part of the family.

Brookdale Central Paradise Valley is a place that I will always hold close to my heart. I had the pleasure of working along side some of the best management team and helping some of the sweetest residents. The passion these employees and residents bring is out of this world. No matter what comes, they always stick together to get it taken care of. The Executive Director, Michelle truly cares for every resident, employee, and guest who walks through the doors. She always has an open door policy, even with her busy schedule. The Business Manager, Sherily will go above and beyond to handle any issue that comes her way even if it doesnt involve her directly. The Maintance Director, Gary is hardworking and really tries to keep the community safe and beautiful. The Activities department, Bob & Faye are always planning something to do and keeping each residents interest in mind to make sure no one feels lonely. The Nursing Staff, Joan, Katie and Celeste is knowledgeable, empathetic, and determined to help in anyway they can. The Dining Room Staff is wonderful, they provide great home cooked meals and great service. This community has a lot of history and a lot of heart, you dont want to miss the chance to live or work here.
