I can't say enough great things about Sierra Winds Health Center! The all-private rooms provide a sense of comfort and privacy that's hard to find elsewhere. The facility is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, creating a welcoming and peaceful environment. Their focus on therapy is truly outstanding — the therapy team is professional, supportive, and committed to helping residents regain their strength and independence. My mother originally moved to Sierra Winds in the Independent Living section in 2016 and I've always had a favorable opinion of SW. She's been in the Health Center in Assisted Living for the past 1-1/2 years, and recently had to be moved from one are to another. We were both apprehensive but I can tell you that the staff involved showed the utmost compassion and caring in completing her move. I've very grateful to all the staff here.

I was led to Sierra Winds because of Google Reviews, so I wanted to pay it forward to anyone who may need similar services. My mom was admitted to Sierra Winds Health Services (the rehabilitation side). From my initial visit, the staff was very courteous and professional and the facilities were clean. She was a resident there just shy of two weeks and I visited her everyday, so I was able to observe various nurses, housekeepers, CNAs, drivers, therapists and staff in the Bistro. I am grateful that my mom was under Sierra Wind's care for the time she was there and I appreciate the level of care she received. If you have any specific questions please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to answer. It can be a very stressful topic because of all the negative publicity senior care centers have received, but from my experience this was not the case at Sierra Winds. Hope this helps anyone!

5 stars is simply not enough. Sierra winds is like nothing I have ever seen before. We recently moved my mother in law there. She had previously lived in her own home with the help of an occasional care giver. She was not excited about the move until she got there and now she refers to Sierra winds as "The Resort" she lives in. She has all the independence she wants with help whenever she needs it. The staff is incredible, they have welcomed her with open arms and have gone above and beyond to make sure she is living her best life. The apartments are beautiful the grounds are lovely the restaurant and bistro are delicious with so many choices. They have tons of fun activities. We have met so many residents that have lived there for 10+ years, which I believe truly speaks volumes. The residents are constantly stopping by to visit and welcome her to the community. Honestly, it is a perfect independent living resort with the option to add any assisted living care you need.

We enjoy living here and have found everyone very friendly and helpful. The food has been very good and there are plenty of activities to keep one busy. The staff is great and very helpful.

I am a seven year resident of Sierra Winds and feel very blessed to live here. It is so easy to make new friends. A multitude of activities are available to enjoy. Many are in-house but we also attend ball games, theaters, dine out, and go on special outings as suggested by the residents. Our library is top-notch with an ever-changing inventory of books and DVD's. Between the Palms Dining Room and the more casual Bistro we have a large variety of food choices. Our beautiful nom-denominational Chapel is second to none. Sierra winds is a warm welcoming place to call home!

I have had nothing but a positive experience since being here almost 2 years. All the staff are so kind and helpful, Everyone goes out of there way to make life here fun and enjoyable. Really am thankful I made the choice to move here. My children are thankful as well as it eases a lot of their concerns. I feel very blessed.

In the past 6 months, my mother was at three different rehab facilities; you might say I am an expert in this area. Sierra Winds Health Center was the third and the best of all. They took wonderful care of my mother and it was clear that the staff works as a team. One of the greatest experiences was when we sat down and met with everyone together - they all had input into my mother's care; PT, RT, Nursing, etc. Prior to this we had unfortunate experiences with case managers. Joe, the case manager at Sierra Winds was truly compassionate and knowledgeable. Thank you!

In December 2015 I sent a special Christmas card to my two children who live in Colorado and California. In it I told them I was giving them the best gift I could ever give to them. I had made my move into Sierra Winds Life Care Community. They were as delighted as I that I would be in my apartment all tucked in for safety, security, new friendships, long term care and especially a New Family. I have not regretted the move and I am certainly happy to be here. My husband and I were going to come together, but he passed away before he could come with me. My advice is — don't wait too long to make that decision. My days are sunny and bright.

My husband and I moved to Sierra Winds Independent Living in 2011, encouraged by the care that my aunt had received the last five years of her life. (She passed at 100 years of age, and I had witnessed the encouragement she had received in the continuing care section of Sierra Winds those five years.) I, of course, at 72, thought I was too young, but I have been so grateful ever since! In those 11 years, I have lost two husbands, joined my fellow residents in the covid shutdown, and lived through chemotherapy. All the while, receiving the concern and care of the staff and fellow residents. My advice: don't wait until you have to make a move. Come while you can continue to enjoy travel, freedom, and making new friends.

I have lived here for 6 and 1/2 years. This week's event describes perfectly why I live here. I woke up early Monday morning feeling warm. The thermostat had no readings. I was without air conditioning. It was warm in the apartment. By 1:00 PM I had a new a/c unit that was working perfectly.

After visiting several life care communities, we made an appointment to tour Sierra Winds. Walking in the front door was like coming home. Residents were clustered in small groups in the lobby, talking and laughing. They greeted us and made us feel welcome, even before we had started our tour. Everywhere we went, we saw smiling faces and friendly people. Posters informed us of upcoming activities including trips to the theater, a casino, restaurants, and even a ball game. The right decision for us was clear. I needed the skilled care center and rehabilitation services later for awhile, and having them located in the same building was wonderful because my wife and friends didn't have to go outside to a separate building. It's all connected inside. I enjoyed what I called "resort living" in our retirement community prior to moving here, but this is like living on a cruise ship without getting seasick. The staff is wonderful and I feel pampered every day. Coming here was the best decision we could have made.
