I took Shelly and Alicia's Cargiver Certification class at Orchard Pointe at Terrazza and let me just say it's a beautiful community. I looked at many caregiver classes but Shelly's class really stood out to me. More in class time than other certification classes means hands on experience. That beats distance learning by a mile! Shelly and Alicia made learning fun and the class was very informative. I will never forget this amazing experience. Thank you!

Orchard Pointe at Terrazza is a very Beautiful place with The kindest staff. I attended a Help My Senior course at The Orchard Ponite at Terrazza and it was truly a pleasure seeing and experiencing the kindness of the staff there. I learned many life lesson from this class. Shelly & Alicia are so Professional, knowledgeable and efficient… not only did they make sure the whole class understood and retained the important information we all learned but they actually made it fun to learn. I took & passed my state exam 6 months after completing the course without studying. I AM So IMPRESSED with Shelly and Alicia's techniques of teaching… This course changes, saves and makes life comfortable for The Caregivers and The Seniors. Help My Senior LLC courses ; truly deserves More Than 5 Stars. 

I had the privilege of touring Orchard Pointe at Terraza yesterday and meeting several staff members. The facilities are beautiful, warm and inviting. The high ceilings, large windows and beautiful grounds were so refreshing and beautiful. I was particularly impressed with the memory care facilities. It was very evident that the staff love the residents and that they are mindful of their needs and have a sincere desire to attend to their comfort and care. More impressive than that was the many little details that attest to a culture of wanting to help the senior residents who are dealing with memory challenges to have an enjoyable, meaningful, active, and purposeful life despite the cognitive health challenges they are facing. There are many beautiful facilities in the valley and Orchard Pointe at Terrazza is a beautiful facility. The most beautiful feature of this facility is not the buildings. The most beautiful and attractive feature is the people. Every member of the staff I met from the sales team to housekeeping and maintenance were smiling, seemed to be happy and all had a genuine love for the residents they were serving. I'm not currently looking for a care facility for a loved one but if I were looking Orchard Pointe at Terrazza would be a place where I would be very excited to have them be.

Surely was not looking forward to Having To set in a room with people I didn't know and take a class that I've already taken. Granite, it was in another state and have to give 62 hours of my time to take a class that I was already Well aware of.... Shelly Drews, who is the instructor of the class, She Is one of the most energetic happy genuine people i've ever met. This is not your typical class where you just watch a bunch of slides and videos and fight to stay awake.. Shellys teaching style makes this class so interesting. It's more of a hands on kind of teaching that is actually fun to participate in But still very informative. The second half of the class was the medications part. I can't say that it was nearly as interesting or fun as the first part of class, but it was definitely informative. And Alicia the instructor of that who is an RN knows her stuff and definitely gave a lot of useful information and I look forward to working in the field. Thank you to Shelly and alicia and all our guest speakers. I definitely learned a lot and will carry a lot of the information if not all of it with me. I definitely recommend taken class. Thanks again shelly and Alecia for all the information, laughs, good food and for making me feel like I can do this and I can be great!

My mom moved in to this place on May 26, 2023. Within one week, she insisted that she had made a huge mistake and wanted to move. Her decision was not based on a transitional emotion! It was based on the living conditions in Independent Living at Orchard Pointe. The decision was based on an ant problem, long walk to the dining room, the fact that the facility is built at the base of a mountain in the desert and that people enter your apartment with a master key! There are more issues that I will not share at this time. My mom is moving to an Independent Living Facility in Gilbert before one month's time living in Orchard Pointe. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to live in Independent Living, I strongly suggest you keep looking!!

I really was not looking forward to taking this caregiver class as I was never happy go lucky about school either and I wondered what I could really learn if I already do the work? The first 3 days went by so quick, Shelly is a very fun educator ! She doesn't make the class drag on, she does hands on excercise/activities that are not only educational but honestly fun to participate in. She gave everybody good laughs and not to mention she is always so smiley ina very good mood, that makes for good energy. Very enjoyable !!

Shelly's Alzheimer's and Dementia care class was outstanding! I have a long history of trainings and certifications but this one takes the cake. Orchard Pointe is a BEAUTIFUL community. They offer a large range of activities and they are actually FUN! The residents love to participate and I believe this is due to the staff. I work within the senior health space and visit a lot of communities and the staff truly loves the residents and it's obvious that the residents love the staff. Shelly made the class fun and entertaining while learning.She would answer all our questions. No matter what the questions was she would never look down on a person or make that person feel bad. I cannot say enough about the staff in memory care. Caring for an elderly resident with memory care needs takes a village, including the family. The entire staff was with us side by side when my mother was a resident. They would take my phone calls any time of the day or night when I couldn't be there, and the love they had for my mom was truly amazing. At the time in her life when my mom needed more care, they were there and I will be forever grateful.

Orchard Pointe at Terrazza was "home" for my father in law and mother in law for over 2 years. My father in law was in assisted living while my mother in law lived in the Memory Care unit. They both passed away while living there and could not have had better care during their time there and in their final days. The facility is very nice and staff on a whole were very helpful and attentive to our needs. My husband and I both felt that the staff members truly cared for and about our parents. Our only concern was the quality of food at the time they lived there and cannot account for it at this time. There were several turnovers in the chef at the facility and we do realize that it is hard to please everyone all the time. There was also a turnover in nursing directors and administrators which made it difficult for communications. Shelly, the director of the Memory Care Unit is a gem and kept us informed on a regular basis. We can't say enough for the end of life care that we received for both Dad (died in 2019) and Mom who just passed away in November, 2021. We feel that they went above and beyond to keep our loved ones comfortable and were of great support to our family. We would not hesitate to recommend Orchard Pointe at Terrazza.

I am so impressed by the management and staff of Orchard Pointe at Terrazza, and eternally grateful for the care they have shown my family in the last year. My parents moved into the Assisted Living facility in April 2021. From the building tour and speedy assistance with their move in, to the daily attention I observed being given to each of my parents, to the welcoming dining room staff, I have seen excellence every step of the way. Most recently, I have seen the leadership and staff in the Memory Care unit show great care and expertise, after the loss of my mother and the need for an immediate relocation and increase in services for my father. The medical technicians are warm and humorous. Activities are clearly enriching and a highlight for participants. The unit leaders have a great understanding of each person's unique needs, and work tirelessly to ensure that those are met. I can't say enough great things about this beautiful facility, and appreciate being able to have genuine confidence in the care my loved ones are receiving.
