Fairwinds - Desert Point takes senior enjoyment seriously. We have a variety of activities designed to promote senior health and happiness Our residents regularly take advantage of local events and activities available in Oro Valley. After researching 30+ senior living options around Tucson, visiting most of them, and compiling an extensive matrix of data about each, we concluded that Fairwinds was the best. Now, with months of actual experience at Fairwinds, we definitely made the right decision! The food is consistently excellent, staff and management are friendly and helpful, and the activities are varied and fun. Especially happy hour!

I have worked at Fairwinds since November of 2021 and I cannot tell you in words how much I enjoy my job! Going to work every day seems more like seeing family and friends than it does a job. It is so rewarding helping people, I just love it here! Please consider Fairwinds when looking at a home for you or your loved one! I think you'll be very happy here!

I was visiting a family member that now calls Fairwinds home. For a place thats has a few more years of use it is clean,well maintained. The staff are friendly and engaging. From the front desk to every employee I met. All are courteous and try to help,resident or visitor alike.I did not have the chance to enjoy a meal there yet. It smelled good and looked quite appetizing. If had not just finished dinner out I might have sat down and enjoyed what looked to be an excellent dinner. Next time

My family member currently lives here and I come to visit for a couple weeks a couple times a year, so I spend a lot of time at the facility and I highly recommend. The staff is kind, respectful, and patient. Even when understaffed they work to not let that impact the service. I feel like they are taken care of when I leave and it is such peace of mind. It was a hard transition to going into an apartment but they have made it very easy. Thank you for all the work you all do.

Fairwinds Desert Point is a top notch senior living community!! I own a senior placement company here in Tucson and all of the residents Ive recommended to this community are so happy and thriving. Resident satisfaction is extremely high at Fairwinds and I attribute this to the incredible and caring staff, delicious food, and endless activities available each day. I work closely with Alexis, Jorge, Robert, and Gloria and all of them do a tremendous job!! They are always willing to assist residents to ensure they are comfortable and well cared for. Above and Beyond The management and staff at Fairwinds are truly wonderful. I have been impressed with my mothers care for the entire two years that she has been at Fairwinds. The efforts they have made during this challenging time of COVID, to not only keep their residents safe, but also to maintain an upbeat positive environment, has been remarkable. The manager and assistant manager really go above and beyond expectations to meet the needs of their residents and I am very grateful for the care they provide my mother.

This is a magical place. The residents who live here become besties and workout buddies. If you have a judgement about what 90 years old looks like...you might be very wrong! They go the the gym regularly, drink cocktails at happy hour and gossip over coffee. The vibe is permanent vacation!

Hi, I wanted to leave a review to let new residents know that our facility is top notch. My mother has been a resident for 12 years. From the moment she and I walked in to FW Desertpoint it was home. In this past year my mom had a big health scare. The Health and Wellness staff was beyond fabulous. Hilary ( H&W Director ) was super, very understanding of my numerous questions, fears and our anxieties. My mom, is now on assisted living and her lifestyle is still wonderful and active. The Dining Room is wonderful too. Meals are well prepared and most of the time taste great. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. The ladies are kind and extremely accommodating to special requests etc. All in all I would recommend Desertpoint to any family looking for a place for their loved one.

My Dad has been blessed in living at Fairwinds by an awesome staff who treat him with respect and genuinely seem to care about him. He has really appreciated how well they take care of him and has established some special relationships with the staff. The facility is always very clean, the food is good and residents seem to really like it there. Scott, the GM, has put together a great staff who appear to enjoy their responsibilities. Specifically, Richard (Concierge) Robert (Guest services), Kevin (Chef) and Hilary (Wellness Director).

This is a wonderful community of kind residents! The staff is warm and helpful and the property is gorgeous. There is so much to do at Fairwinds, whether it's eating in the beautiful dining room, catching a movie in the theater, or listening to music at happy hour. I would recommend this community for any senior!
