This has evolved into a great senior living experience for our mother, mostly because of Nursing Director Shayla Hill and the consistent quality of care she and upper management have established for residents. Shayla is readily available, quick to act, and very professional, plus exceptionally well-skilled, clearly experienced, and great at her job. She's really nice, too. Everyone has gone above and beyond for our parent, especially in challenging situations regarding her level of care and safety concerns. They are accessible, compassionate, listen well and react appropriately to situations. These are very demanding jobs and that are handled with grace and understanding, and while I'm boasting about Shayla, everyone is very good. The whole staff, from the front desk on, they're all friendly, kind and happy to help. This is a top-down attitude from management, and it's a huge improvement from a year ago. At first, there was high turnover, and we were concerned. But the current management team is cohesive, and they work together to solve problems for residents and their families, and it has made a noticeable difference in care coordination. Plus, it's a beautiful living environment, conveniently located to restaurants and shopping in Mesa, with great activities, not a bunch of boring old people stuff to do. The staff encourage community engagement. And the food is good with nice variety.

My mom lives here and it is AWESOME! Great food, lots of activities, and caring employees. This is true if your family member is ambulatory. Once she need help going to the bathroom things changes quickly. Plus the help level was not what we were told it would be. We moved my mom to memory care, not because of her memory but because of the extra help she was supposed to get. Didn't help. She got a large sore on her leg which got very pussy and smelly within a week of it being noticed by her doc but no bandage changes were done all week!!

This has been the best move for us at this point in our lives. Everyone I so very friendly. The entire staff has been a great help getting us settled in. The maintenance man (Matthew) has been a great help. The wait staff has been wonderful.

This community looks good on the outside but they lack good care, food and leadership. Their staff nearly cost my father his life.

Moving into an assisted living facility was a big step for our mother. She was anxious and yet excited. Unfortunately, we picked the wrong facility. Although it is attractive from the outside, it is poorly managed on the inside. The administration is not concerned about the well-being of the residents rather how much money they can make. We had to go to the corporate level to get anything done. The food is awful and level of care is unacceptable. Take warning before considering placing a loved one in this facility.

My mother is very content living here. Her apartment is just right for her. It's great she can do her own laundry in her own house. Lots of activities and they are always going some where. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom.

Lived here ten months now have to leave dining room has bad service and there’s a bully who lives here can’t take the meds dr wanted me to take director has done very little to help me saying his hands are tied but mine aren’t so I’m gone

I am an RN that comes in several times a week to visit my patients. The community is always clean, staff is always pleasant, my patients apartments are always clean, there are residents doing activities, there is a pool, happy hours, live entertainment.. the memory care unit always has activities. Music , a garden and a TV room where the memory care residents have full access to.. I would definitely recommend las palomas to anyone looking for independent living, assisted living or memory care it really is resort style living.

My grandfather lived here until he passed away earlier this month. It is a beautiful building (and gorgeous property) and I was blown away by his apartment! High ceilings with a little office nook in addition to the kitchen, living area, and bedroom. The staff was so kind and helpful, and they really provided a wonderful place for him to live after he was unable to maintain his house.

My mother, sister, and I toured Las Palomas Senior Living and found it to be a very lovely community. Honestly, they have thought of everything to make their residents comfortable and provide for all their needs. It was very impressive! The staff were genuinely wonderful and the residents that we talked to were extremely happy living there and said the food was excellent! Thank you, Richard, for all your efforts in helping us to learn about your community and all it has to offer our mother.

Happy Hour. Lots of fun, laughter, enjoying each other's company. Great atmosphere. I have been extremely busy lately and have not attend activities as I used to. I look forward to being a real part of things again in the near future.

We toured yesterday with Patty at 4:00. We were very impressed with this new facility and Patty, our sales rep. She took her time explaining all the wonderful features and activities, without any hard sales pressure. The facility is excellent, with smiling faces everywhere. Lots of common rooms, that felt very inviting and like home. Several fireplaces and flat screen tv areas, a coffee bistro bar, a theater room, beauty salon, small gym, and a pool are all on site. The apartments are a little small, but light and bright, probably all one really needs with all the common areas to enjoy. Suites also include washer and dryer. We also liked that house keeping is included in even the independent living and that meals are also included in rent. Eat anytime you’d like.

The staff is exceptional. The facility is Top Tier not just because it is new. Clearly, LP is ideal for engaged and socially active seniors. The amenities, colors, size of rooms, hallways and natural light where all real considerations in the designing of the property. The staff is truly wonderful, caring, patient and well qualified. They not only showed well during our visit, they were outstanding the day we moved my dad into his apartment. Even better, the two days we stayed around to held dad unpack the staff and other residences stopped by to say hi, brought cookies and offered to help. The staff even came and hung dad's pictures and mirrors and such. Can't say enough good things about the LP Team. I deliberately waited two months to write my review to ensure my first impressions were accurate. Equally as important to know......the food is actually good and the social activities are fun, per my dad! A+ Rating to the entire LP Team. Thanks for making my dad so happy. Gregg C.

I moved here 4 months ago and love it!! Friendly and helpful staff, all of them, yummy meals from the chef-driven kitchen, endless activities, field trips, things to do and go and see, laundry facilities in every apartment (my fave), a theater, a library, the list goes on! If you are bored here, it is your own choice! Come and have a look!

My parents are so happy with Las Palomas! They moved into the independent living part of the community. They have made new friends and love the wonderful food! (We have eaten there and it is pretty amazing). They love the exciting activities that are planned as well! They staff is so friendly and always helpful. When it's time, they will stay there when they need assisted living as well! We definitely made the right choice!
