My mother recently passed after a long battle with a terrible form of palsy. I am forever thankful for how the wonderful caretakers were so good with my mom. In particular, they had called myself and my dad notifying us that my mom only had about an hour left of her life. We rushed over and the tremendous amount of compassion they showed towards my mom was beyond measure. My dad and I are so grateful for their support and empathy. It is not easy finding good care but the staff at Brookdale North Mesa were amazing.

My mother was in this facility from January 2025 until she passed away August 5th 2025. The care and compassion she received was over and above anything we could have imagined. In her last few days the staff was so accommodating to our family and friends visiting. Sally at the front desk went above and beyond to care for our family. The nurses and aides were so tender and kind to our mother. The coordinator was so helpful find space for us to meet and work through this difficult time. Even the maintenance team and waitstaff took time out of their busy day to make sure we were ok ! So grateful that our mothers last months were at Brookdale. Sincerely, The Family of Evelyn Gerwitz

My brother is a resident here. I was at a different Brookdale, but my assumption is the food at Brookdale North Mesa is very similar to Brookdale Arrowhead. As the facility goes, they do well to care for their residents, but the food I would even rate the facility overall worse. If it weren't from my ability to be away from their food as much as possible. I understand the dietary needs for many of the residents in the facility must be taken into account. But the quality and cost effectiveness results in very meager, food portions and options.

I had the pleasure of going to brookdale north mesa for a visit. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. I was even offered a lunch in the cafeteria. The residents looked very well cared for.

Caregivers in the memory care wing care very much for their patients and provide a variety of activities for them. My only concern is lack of a nondenominational church service for them that includes communion.

Overall we are very happy here. Its not home, but most of the staff does their best in making it feel like it is for my mother and all the residents here. The staff is happy and positive here at N Brookdale, they do a good job at trying to plan different activities for the residents which I love and they take good care of their laundry unlike other places we've been where it gets ruined, lost, stolen. The food is good, its spotless clean, rooms are good size, she also has made many friends here. We love everyone who works here, they make it what it is

Like most assisted living facilities, they can't keep staff. The memory care unit is definitely understaffed and it shows in the attentiveness to each resident, mostly whom are in wheelchairs and need consistent attention to their hygiene. I don't know if they are underpaid (most likely) but they are definitely overworked as there is persistent staff shortage and turnover. I would not put a loved one here (memory care specifically) if they were bedridden or if you are not available to check in on their well-being several times a week. On the plus side, everyone is very nice and the place is kept clean. I think they are trying their best but you can't run a successful business if you can't keep your employees.

My sister has lived at Brookdale North Mesa for six months and really enjoys her daily living there. The facility has a very professional, attentive and caring staff. Meals, meds, personal care, cleaning of rooms, and activities are dependable and the community rooms are sunny and easily accessible to the outdoor patios with well-kept grounds. My father and I visit regularly and always feel welcome. We are grateful for this community and their staff!

It was a very hard decision to move my 101 year old father from California to Brookdale north. From the first moment he stepped onto the premises he was greeted with so much love by everyone he did not have a difficult adjustment. as we had feared. He has made thecommentmany many times that this is his home and everyone treats him like he is part of the family. the entire staff greeted him by name and quickly learned the names of my family and myself. Every time we walk through the doors into Brookdale we are greeted with a smile and and a friendly hello which includes our names. I can’t say enough about this great facility

My mom has been living at Brookdale North Mesa for over a year. I am so happy to have found a place where she feels safe and well adjusted. The staff and the leaders at Brookdale are by far the very best! I love how they all work so hard to help the families and the members that live there. I come visit my mom almost every day and I get the same feeling every time I'm there. The staff is always so friendly, and never too busy to stop and say hello. I recommend Brookdale North Mesa to anyone wanting to find a warm, caring, and safe place for their loved one away from home.

I would like to say first off your facility needs 10 stars. Carese Lewis took my grandma and I around to look at the rooms and all the activities you guys have for them to do. It's very clean, and all the staff was friendly as well. Carese Lewis made us feel like we were part of the family already. She was very professional and knowledgeable about everything we wanted to know about your facility. My mom now lives here and she loves it. I am impress with how the staff show they really care about the residents . I am always greeted by a staff of friendly smiling faces of folks who seem genuinely glad to help care for mom. One area I am very impressed with is the number of events and activities for residents...the activity director there is awesome. Overall, I believe our family made a great choice for our mom with Brookdale of North Mesa.

My mother has been in Brookdale North Mesa for over a year, and we have had a very good experience. This facility is always clean, inviting, and the staff are knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. The caregivers are also very caring and go the extra mile to serve the residents, but I feel there should be more of them. The food is good, and the variety of dishes is also good. I love that the staff decorate the facility so well for every holiday, and they have wonderful group entertainment evenings each month as well as daily activities. I would highly recommend Brookdale North Mesa for anyone looking for a great place for their parent or loved one.

Our mother has been at this Brookdale facility for almost a year and we couldn't be happier with her placement there. She lived at a different Brookdale facility before, but the key to Mom's success at the North Mesa facility is the helpful and congenial staff at this location. Mom actually told us that she feels like the staff are her family and we can see why. From Paul, the activities director, to the amazing Med Techs and nurses, as well as the many kind and patient caretakers, Mom hasn't merely lived here, but has flourished.

Wonderful place for my parents! Staff are so helpful and attentive and treat residents like family members. Brian in particular at the North Mesa facility went out of his way on Thanksgiving and Christmas to bring my Dad over to our house in the bus. It meant so much to our family. We know my parents are being we'll cared for!
