Under the new leadership/management I have seen improvement in healthcare. She’s hands on and her work has been affective up to this point. I see a bright future for this building and management.
October 2024
When a family member needed more help than we could provide, we started looking for assisted living facilities that he could afford. Armasi turned out to be just what he needed. He has his own apartment that is just the right size for him and the staff keeps it clean and inviting. The grounds on the outside paremeter does not look like much, but the courtyard is beautiful. The staff is always so pleasant when I visit and my family member is very happy there. Thanks Armasi!

I have been in and out of this building several times over the last year, but as of late, not only am I seeing changes in the cleanliness, and smell of the facility as you enter, but also seeing the changes in the residents, reside here. The Director and the administrator of this facility need a round of applause they have done wonders with the morale of the Staff those that live here. The other day I happen to be able to meet the Director Shelly Allard, what a professional lady who truly cares about the building and staff I understand the administrator is above her and have not met him, but he was the catalyst and bringing this lady here I know, for a fact that she is respected as I've seen the way everybody treats her and they treat her with that. Same respect I was about to give up on this place thank you to all who followed the lead and look to make change though slow it's a fact change is Good!!

I was a resident here for 8 months and I feel blessed to be out of there. And here is why the food was uneatable. the boxes when they bring them in say " NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMTION". I WAS A FALL RISK when I would fall I laid there for a minimum 1 hour but could take 3+ hours. I told Jackson to his face " HE WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A CORPRATE LIP SERVICE GUY" He never rebutted my statement. There were 4 times my meds came up missing while I was under there care. it was my morphine that was missing those times and they were never replaced. I had a letter from my pcp stating I could do my own meds. they would never let me do them. The nurse Melissa I told her she was " nothing more than a pussy because she would never come talk to me in person. she would always send one of her minions down to talk TO ME." I NEVER SCREAMED OR YELLED AT anyone in that place. She never did anything about anything. that's what the problem was. I cant believe she had her date or her 15 year old son pass meds. but , no-one would give me control of my meds. meds. Someone they wouldn't tell me who tried to get money from my bank account on several occasions. I know this because my bank would flag it and notify me. They tried ordering meds for belivita 3 times they tried. and I have never been in belivita. my drug store notified me. Ginger I thought was nice until I found out she was writing reviews from dead individuals. Staff was horrible. Daniella would never give me my meds on time then would have to give me my breakthrough pain meds . Sometimes I wouldn't get a shower for 3 weeks. and we were supposed to get them 2 times per week. all staff were bad. Deborah would yell at me for cleaning my cats litter box and putting it outside my door. she said it was making the trash to heavy. It was raining cockroaches from the ceiling. I asked to move to another room and got told no. There was a horrible drug problem there. from weed, meth, heroin and everything in between. People have even od several times from the drugs. They would even bring drugs to the dinning room and pass or sell there. They Would refuse to send people to the hospital when they were not feeling well and would ask to go. If one of my friends mom was sent to the hospital when she asked she would still be here. they refused to send her. Please think twice before sending your loved here.

I was a Resident at Amarsi for 8 months. it was horrible. roaches in every room. my call button was hit and miss in my room. I would complain and they would take it out of my room then it works. I had to push the button while staff were in my room to show them it didn't register. It took staff hours to answer the call light. 2-3 hours if the answered at all. in march of 2022 it changed ownership. Ted the general manager. I saw once he was ok. Jackson Amarsi manager was so hard to pin down to talk to he would say his door is always open. not true. when you did talk to him he would say what he thought you wanted to hear. he was in the wellness office =most of the time and Melissa and anna didn't answer the door either. Melissa the nurse claims to have a photographic memory. I asked her about a couple of my meds she said she gave them to me I said pull them out and lets compare she didn't give them to me. A great deal of staff where rude and mean. One lady care giver was rude and argumentative. She was setting the table in the dinning room the spoon she gave me was dirty so I requested a clean one after 10 minutes of requesting she threw it at me. it landed next to me in front of another resident. She then would throw silverware at me until myself and the other resident went and spoke with the manager at that time was Jennifer. It stopped but she would find other ways to pick on people. She was overheard on several occasions by me telling new staff wrong things. I was checking my own blood sugar. One day I was headed down for lunch she stopped and asked me what my reading was I said 151 I think so she said if I didn't remember she would have to check my machine. I went back to my room with her and we checked it said 152. So the caregiver said to me "you cant be trusted to be truthful so I will have to look at your machine every time. I'm thinking this is stupid. new staff would orient by her and she would tell them the same thing. She would also tell new people " Its ok when your serving people to skip them or make them wait if they don't say please and thank you!" She would steal from residents . If you complained to management they would say file a grievance we need a paper trail. Some days I would fill out 3-4 on her every day and so would other people. Meds would be sent by the pharmacy and never given to me. My injections I take every 28 days was hard for them to find. I would say check the refrigerator. on 2 occasions I went in the office with the med techs and they opened the fridge I saw my medication in there . They still couldn't see it. I would direct them and they would chuckle and say oh that was fun. On one occasion I was asking the med tech to look for it. They male med tech didn't bring it so when I saw him in the dinning room I asked about it he said 'Melissa (the nurse) said call your case manager I said really so he repeated it. I said my case manager has nothing to do with medications. So I called the pharmacy Salibas and they said it was delivered the day before signed for at 616 by Aerial. I told the Med tech this and asked him to look again this information and asked him to look again. He was rude and said "if I have time" he didn't so the next day I came in from an appointment and asked the best receptionist if it was mine and she said yes. I asked where she found it and she told me in the front office on top of the fridge. I said not in the fridge she said no. Aerial was coming up the hallway I asked her about it and she said at first she didn't sign for it. I told her she did the day before and when she did it. She then told me she Paged the Male med tech and he didn't come so she put it in the office and forgot about it. I asked if she tried paging the med tech more than once. I asked her why she didn't put it in the fridge there was a big green sticker on it that said refrigerate she told me Medicines aren't refrigerated unless there insulin . I pointed out the sticker again she got mad and stormed off. I had to call the pharmacy and see if I could still give the injections. they said yes. There is a med tech there that is diabetic I would order supplies and some where missing or half there and she was the person singing for them every time. I ordered test strips that come with 2 bottles of 50 each bottle and it was 1 bottle several times. Lancets where delivered on 6-15-22 I still don't have them. This same med tech before I did my own meds Brought in my 6 am meds I took 5 pills at that time 2 times she left another resident pill on my counter. Once I didn't look at them I just put it in my mouth this med tech was walking out I told her to come back and spit the pill back in the cup told her the mistake and she had the pill for 2 doors down She tells people violations of hipa rights a lot. there was another med tech that violated my hipa rights very bad I felt like management didn't take me serious there was a female med tech that witnessed this and it wasn't tell she went and told Jackson of this he finally believed me. There is a lot of stealing that goes on there. Some staff try but there is only so much they can do. The dinning room was so loud and lots of fights well arguing some tables turned by mad residents. Diabetics are supposed to get peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at dinner for a snack in the night. this was hit and miss if it was done at all. one caregiver would put them on her cart to take home. The food was horrible. Hamburgers were mystery meat some times. Other times they weren't cooked all the way and when I asked for one that was cooked all the way threw they said they were all like that and the cook went home already. when there where chef salads they only make a limited number and some staff would take them for themselves and would take them to the break room or hide them on carts. They would always say they wanted a salad and would take them so residents didn't get them. Some staff would say did you have the alternative for lunch? then you cant have it at dinner. I am very glad to be out of there. If I could have rated it negative stars I would have. Im sure there are things I left out but I hope the point was made.

My uncle lives at this assisted living place. He likes this place way better then the other places he has lived before. He likes his room and that he does not have to share with anyone. He tells me the best part is he can drink his own coffee and listen to his music. I am glad he is finally happy.

Ive been to a lot of Facilities in my day and this place definitely has a home feel like quality to it. I was greeted by a warm receptionist. The staff were really nice and attentive towards the residents from what I observed walking through the building. The executive director has a great personality and answered any questions or concerns I had. There was beautiful calendars hung around the building so I could clearly see what activity was going on each hour of the day. I definitely recommend this place for your loved one.

I have a family member in this facility who is doing so much better and is so much happier in her new home. She always talks about how nice the staff and residents are to her I couldnt be happier with our choice. Thank you Amarsi.

Currently working here. Everyone does their best effort and i enjoy interracting with the residents We have fun and act silly. Some rooms need more attention and they sure have been getting it. This place is not for the weak. Especially having to clean up after residents and, or pets. Steady hiring the best employees to stick it out with us and have a great team in all departments. No drama with coworkers 99% of the time. (Its gonna happen anywhere at some point right).
