I took a tour of this facility because I'm considering placing my dad in a Memory Care Center I have viewed other centers around the valley and by far this one is the largest with most roaming space and activities going on I've had a couple of residents walk up very happy greeting me I was surprised to know that Ali who was showing me around knew everybody's name and the rooms are very spacious and separated partially to allow privacy for each resident I definitely will be talking to my siblings about moving my father here and I wanted to just share all of the positivity that I seen with just one walkthrough that took about 20 minutes I couldn't think of any place better for my father who is a social butterfly

I had set up a tour with Ali Ftouni. He welcomed my girlfriend and I with a big warm smile. This was a brand new experience for me by making the decision to admit my husband who had dementia into a memory care facility. Ali was very informative and answered all my questions and concerns. I was 100% impressed with the community. I loved that it was 100% memory care. The place was beautiful, clean, inside and out. When Ali told me there was no availability for my husband at this time , I was so disappointed ” . But Ali went above and beyond for me. He started calling other nearby places where they could have an availability. He explained what the process would be. As I left I felt more relieved and reassured to take the next step. We recently placed my mother at Brookdale North Gilbert. She has a beautiful studio with fresh paint and a small kitchen. The staff, are efficient and very helpful. The nurses, CNA's and caregivers are compassionate, friendly and treat my mother well. My mother has been at other assisted care facilities and none compare to the cleanliness, compassion and care that she has received at Brookdale North Gilbert.

Brookdale North Gilbert is staffed by some of the kindest and hard working people I've ever met. They care about their residents and Kimberly is a fantastic resource for when it comes time to say goodbye to your loved one. My Mom was here for just a while, but she enjoyed the little time she was there and was comfortable. William the current Executive Director is one that gets down into the dirt to help out and isn't one to shirk his duties. Audrey stepped in as Clare Bridge Program Coordinator (Activities) and has had some of the most memorable family nights I've been a part of. Thank you for all that you've done for us and our Mother.

After a rigorous search to find our father the perfect memory home, Brookdale North Gilbert has definately met and continues to exceed our expectations. Our father has adjusted wonderfully and is so involved in their many activities. There is always a staff member to answer our questions whether we call to check on his day or any other particular question. I especially want to thank Ashley for all her hard work, answering a million of our questions, getting us all the information, walking us thru the paperwork, helping facilitate with the VA for more paperwork, to get Dad into Brookdale. Ashley and all the staff there truly care for the residents and it shows. Thank you all! We are so happy to be part of the Brookdale family !

My mom has been at Brookdale for about 3 years now. They have consistently shown true compassion and caring for my mom. Stephanie and the staff at Brookdale always communicate with me if there are any issues. I feel very fortunate to have found this place for my mom to stay. She has been happy and content there since she arrived, and this is after several months of sketchy and worrisome living conditions before she came. When she arrived there in 2017, she was on hospice because her condition had deteriorated quickly at the assisted living she was staying at before (she was being drastically over medicated, which is what prompted me to seek new living arrangements) After a few months at Brookdale she was walking and talking again, and was released from hospice. I also like how seriously they have taken covid precautions and how quickly and decisively they acted to implement the measures to protect the residents in their care. They make a point of letting me know about any changes which is something to be valued. Between the hands on care staff, the nursing staff and the doctors and nurse practitioners who come to see her there, I have come to feel very safe and secure with her staying there.

So much goodness! You cannot get a better experience than working Marcy at Brookdale. She makes you feel like family, a friend and helped Ease my fears and helped my Mom make a great transition. She brings a personal touch like no other. So thankful! Way to go Brookdale!

Taking care of my grandma at our house was hard for my Mom. We knew we needed to move to assisted living but need someone to help us make it easier for my mom to let her go. Marcy was kind and my mom knew right away she would be In Good hands. She sent us photos and was on our team. Thank for all the staff and happy Mom is happy In her new home.

BEWARE of Marcy- Sales Manager- She was observed threatening to evict a resident because they didnt use their walker. She scolded her in an abrasive manner, claiming it was Brookdale policy ALL residents use a walker and she would be kicked out if she didnt go back and get it from her apartment. She visibly upset and frightened the resident. 4 stars is because of the newer AMAZING, KIND, AND DEDICATED Executive Director who is improving this community for residents and employees.

Both my mom and dad have been with the Brookdale home for about a year. Initially they were at Brookdale Baywood but then were transferred shortly after that to the Brookdale N Gilbert location to give them a little space and more freedom. Its not always easy being a Caregiver. But they have been so kind and patient with my parents and really take the time to whatever they can to help each client with their individual care. I would recommend this facility to anyone that has a loved one in need of a caregiver.

Im writing a review for one of my moms care givers Rita. I see my mom at least 3-4 times a week and I see the care that she gives the residence in the community shes genuine and I really appreciate how she takes such good care of everyone and always has a smile on her face.

Im writing a review to let everyone know that this facility was recommended to me for my mom from an absolutely amazing employee Marcy. My mom is my number one priority and her care is VERY important to me and my family. I trusted Marcy so much that when I found out Marcy was transferring to Brookdale North I panicked because Marcy has cared and loved my mom as if my mom was her mom. So when they had an opening I was so relieved that my mom was going to be in the same facility as Marcy! Thank god!! She is so loving and caring for the people that are in this facility her heart is huge and I have full confidence that my mom is cared for with the employees that work there. Marcy even came to the hospital to see my mom when my mom was sick what an amazing human being she is and when I see my mom smile and light up when Marcy talks to her thats all I need to know that my mom is loved. I recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one who needs memory care its definitely a 5 star facility and Im a tuff daughter who only expects the very best care for my mom. Anonymous Stating! 1. This facility truly cares about their Residents- caregivers do know their Residents! Currently stating they are usually dealing with the same Residents on normal basis. Which is smart because they can know when something is wrong or deal with problems with responses that is appropriate based on the Residents character. 2. The food- the cooks do care about the Residents and provide alternative options for diet restrictions, for example diabetic. Plus, from my opinion looking in, the food is great. Their last Christmas dinner was amazing. Having a guest plate was also provided. Which is so kind. 3. Caregivers- seeing the care they provide is nice! For someone that has to work their they must face difficulties and patience being tested. Seeing how they still manage to care is amazing. I know the job must not be easy. I see they tell jokes to Residents. Making the environment less dull! 4. Visiting- Visiting is very open! You can visit any time..leave any time! Plus they always had activities for the Residents in the gallery. I have seen yummy snacks given, music performances, old shows playing on the tv, and even some water painting. They have a separate activities worker which makes it reliable that its being done. Things that can be worked on- 1. The smell, I know it can be difficult to manage but it would be nice for some nice room deodorizer! Its not horrific now but if that can be managed and brought up, It could make a big pleasant difference! I believe that would be a great investment. 2. The interior, some updates would be nice. Something fresher! Energizing! It could help mentally with workers and even Resdients. Thats all I have to say. Thanks Brookdale. I hope for more positive things to say. I know everything cant be perfect, but the thought of having workers and even ED, trying to work on improvement is a good feeling to have. I hope we have good improvements this year! 2019!

I would like to thank the amazing caregivers at Brookdale North Gilbert for looking after my father for the past 2 years. While he recently passed, I will always be grateful for the loving care he was given. I spent a lot of time visiting him at the facility and witnessed many beautiful interactions between the caregivers and my dad, and the other residents as well. The caregivers were very kind, respectful and compassionate with dad. They treated him like a member of their own family, which was very comforting. The facility was dads home for two years, and I have no complaints. I really enjoyed the activities, family night dinners, and spending time with the residents and staff. Thank you Brookdale North Gilbert for exceeding my expectations.
