Over promise under deliver!!! This is where you send your loved one to die with very subpar care. They talk a good game though. Beyond frustrating. Don't be fooled by the pretty presentation. Would not recommend this place.

They took excellent care of my loved one! All the staff are attentive. Nurses and doctor qualified and caring. Great job

The staff at Parkland are very kind and friendly. They fell in love with my husband during his 2.5 year stay. The activities and snacks were extremely creative and well suited for the residents. And the food is way better than you'd expect…it is actually good. The decorations for special occasions were always fun and sometimes extravagant. The facility is very nice and the residents are content and well taken care of. They have numerous outdoor gathering spaces that are terrific for family visits and catching some fresh air. Maude is the Director and is kind-hearted and very easy to work with.

Our mother has resided at Parkland Memory care for almost a year and a half. Have been phenomenal. The love and care they show for the residence is evident. They continuously attempt to keep the residents engaged and as active as possible. The facility itself is lovely and the courtyard is wonderful and provides access to fresh air, plants, and sunshine. We will keep Mom here until she passes away. The support staff shows for the families is also wonderful! I appreciate Maurie and her team. They have made difficult decisions relating to my mother, more palatable and with their full support. I highly recommend Parkland Memory care for people with dementia.

" I want all families who are searching for a Memory Care location to know what a great experience my Mom had at Parkland Memory Care. She was a resident for approximately 2 and 1/2 years. During that time she became part of the Parkland family. Caregivers, Nurses, and Administrative staff cared about Mom's needs. They got to know her personality, both good and bad. She wasn't always easy to deal with but they always understood how best to handle each day. I'm so grateful for their love, support, and care. The Parkland Staff treated Mom as part of their own family. Wendy Peterson, daughter of Beverly Cheyne "

What a fantastic group of people at Parkland. At the end of your loved one's life, you want to know that they will be treated with dignity and compassion. Parkland exceeded our expectations with my mom. Highly recommend this facility and very thankful we found it.

My mother lived at Parkland just a month shy of four years, and she was very well loved and very well taken care of! As a former nurse (40+ years), when she first moved into the facility, she thought she was an employee and would follow the nurses and caretakers around trying to either assist or direct. She was always treated with dignity and was referred to as "Nurse Millie." My siblings and I were very happy with and will be forever grateful for the loving care she received. I would absolutely recommend this facility to families having to make this difficult decision. Thank you, Parkland.

Highly recommend Parkland. My mom loved it there and I never had to worry that she wasn't well taken care of. The staff got to know her on a personal level and knew what she wanted just by reading her face. Whenever I came to see her she was always well groomed and looked nice. Highly recommend it for your family member.

3 years ago my father was discharged from the hospital after emergency surgery. His previous memory care facility said they could not provide the extra care he needed. The hospital care coordinator recommended Parkland, which could provide the extra care, and within a few days my dad was moved in and recovering. He's still doing well and is happy, at age 98! The staff at Parkland are the most caring people I've met in any of his 3 previous homes. He likes them because they treat him with dignity, provide things to do and therapy dogs to pet, and give him plenty of the food he likes. I like them because they keep me informed of everything via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings. It just feels happy there. I visit often and am welcomed every time. One time I happened to be there during a fire drill, when they moved the west side residents to the east side, and one of the talented residents just sat at the piano and started playing cheerful tunes. That was the happiest fire drill I've ever experienced! I highly recommend Parkland. When I leave town, I never worry. Whether Dad is having a grumpy day or a good one, I know he is surrounded by professionals who truly care about him.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and support provided at Parkland. The team there truly set a gold standard for memory care for my mom. From the very beginning, we were impressed with their attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. The Parkland facility itself was well-maintained with a peaceful and home-y atmosphere. Every time we visited, the staff were compassionate and dedicated, whether it was a weekday, weekend, morning, evening, or, at the end, overnight. They not only showed the expertise required for memory care, but also the genuine love and understanding to provide personalized care to each resident. The activities and programs at Parkland were not only engaging but also designed to stimulate cognitive function and bring joy to the residents' lives. My mom's personality and quirks were known by each staff member who treated her with kindness and respect. The communication with Parkland staff was exceptional. We were kept informed about my mom's well-being, given updates about her health and needs, and provided resources and guidance at each step of the journey. Parkland coordinated her transition to hospice care, which was provided on site by a different amazing team, which I will review separately. Choosing Parkland was one of the best decisions we made for my mom. We could not have asked for a better place for her to live her last year. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a caring, professional, and supportive environment for a loved one. Thank you, Parkland, for the excellent care you provided, and for bringing peace, comfort, and patience to our family during a challenging time. Your commitment to memory care shines brightly.

I found Parkland a wonderful “home” for my husband in the last 5 months of his life. The staff and caregivers are so caring to all their residents giving so much of themselves to all no matter what their needs are. The facility is beautiful, always kept clean and the residents well cared for. I was truly grateful for having found Parkland.

Parkland Memory Care has been GREAT to work with. I have had a handful of our clients that have lived at Parkland. The care has been top notch and the communication with the management has been great as well. What I like most is having the ability to talk directly with the management with any issues that my clients were facing and then to have them correct those immediately. I have been in a lot of memory care communities and I really believe Parkland is one of the best in the valley!
October 2020
This is a top notch facility. The staff are incredibly caring and professional. No one wants their loved ones to transition to a care center but here they make the process as positive and safe as possible.
August 2020
Very clean and beautiful community! The staff are phenomenal, I love the lay out of the rooms, and the overall feel when you walk around there is homey.
July 2020
Had a tour and a thorough interview with friendly staff who are willing to answer all questions completely. The facility is beautiful and bright and ALL staff trained in CPR, dementia-alzheimers! Very important! They also have a great patient-staff ratio. Ive stopped in a few times unannounced and the residents have always been busy. Great Activities going on all day.

I saw some Easter pictures of the residents and commented that I would love to see a picture of my mom Sally. I live in TN and dont know when I will be able to get back to AZ to visit her. So I was very happy when 2 of the staff sent me a great picture of her looking very happy. I also really appreciate their sweet comments. Thank you to Sarah and Kristy for taking the effort to go above and beyond and helping me feel a little closer to my mom.

As a home health professional I am in several different group homes and facilities daily. Ive visited Parkland at all hours of the day and night and they never cease to amaze me. I see care staff being gentle and supportive, even singing to residents. Trust me, you dont see this everywhere thats why I chose to write this review. This place is awesome!
February 2020
My mother was dead four months after moving to Parkland directly due to staff not following appropriate safety procedures that they, themselves recommended. Despite earlier conversations with the executive director, nothing was done to educate or address gaps in care. After a fall, about which nobody could explain or provide any specifics, my mother was supposed to be in a wheelchair. An aide left her unattended in the bathroom where she fell and broke her hip. I made several requests to review documentation of the fall, but records were never provided. I was told they don't share that information, although when I contacted the State license agency, I was told they are required to share it. One example of the care provided occurred when I stopped by early one Sunday evening and found my mother dirty, discombobulated and with her room in disarray. Based on her usual demeanor, it was clear to me at this time that she was suffering from a delirium. (We later learned that she had a UTI, which does typically trigger a delirium for her. So much for having clinicians on staff.) Staff were sitting on the sofa watching television - without any of the residents. And this occurred while I was there, when they might have at least made an effort to appear to be caring for residents. I learned my mother had been like this before dinner - nearly 3 hours - and nobody took the initiative to clean my mother or the room. I cleaned my mother and helped her change clothes. I was told they were waiting for me to leave then they would clean the room. But I had to ask three times, then waited over an hour for someone. Then they said they couldn't find a vacuum. While disappointing, I thought the executive director would use this as a training opportunity. I was wrong. When I communicated all of this to the executive director, she attempted to make excuses, inadvertently contradicting herself in the process and certainly not expressing concern. To cap off the wretched experience, I was told that I didn't need to know about what happened there as they were "used to it." If my mother is exhibiting unusual behavior, I most certainly do need to know. We were so concerned that we were in the process of researching other places for my mother when she broke her hip. The facility is new and looks lovely. They are very good at keeping up appearances - in more ways than one. I don't want anyone to go through what we went through. If you are even considering Parkland, I would strongly encourage you to visit often, especially at unusual times on weekends and evenings.

Parkland is the perfect place for our loved one. The Staff is great and provides excellent care. They are great at keeping the residents engaged in special and fun activities. Our loved one feels like she is on a private cruise ship! All inclusive with fantastic service. Thank you to all the staff for the friendly and warm welcome.

What an improvement having Mom at 100% dedicated memory care place. Parkland is designed for her needs. The caregivers do an excellent job, as nurses. They are very attentive and kind. Everyday there are engaging activities. The community is very supportive. Thank you Parkland Memory Care.

September 2019
We researched for months trying to find a place for our Mom. Since day one, Parkland Memory Care has felt right. The staff is like family and they do an amazing job caring for their residents.
September 2019
I have been volunteering here for the last couple of weeks and it has been great especially with the friendly and knowledgeable stuff that (to a person) are so dedicated to make this facility a real home for the residents. In the past I have volunteered at similar type facilities but the staffs dedication and caring given to the residents at Parkland far exceeds the staff at any other place where I have volunteered. What an honor and privilege for me to have the opportunity of being associated with Parkland!
September 2019
A beautiful new home I placed my mother in. The food is good which is important. The staff are engaged, caring and are very professional. I am finally at peace of mind.
August 2019
I highly recommend Parkland Memory Care! My dear friend is so well cared for and treated so respectfully. They encourage her to make the most of everyday by providing interesting and fun activities. Beautiful facility and staff. Definitely a win win for all involved.
May 2019
My mother in law and father in law both live at Parkland Memory Care. The facility is very beautiful and brand new! I have attached several photos. The staff truly care- as a Registered Nurse, I can tell ! They hired people who love what they do. The facility has a van for the residents to take field trips, which is very important (see photo) there is also a hair salon on the premises. My mother in law always has a fun manicure each time I visit ( different colors or holiday theme). There are plenty of activities ( see attached photo of artwork) . When we visit, we can eat a meal with my mother and father in law for a nominal fee. If you are looking for a memory care center for your loved ones, look no further than Parkland Memory Care Center! You wont regret it.

Just attended the open house today. This place is amazing! It felt like a resort. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are at the top of my list...
April 2019

This place is absolutely beautiful. Love the staff and love knowing that our sweet Mom is so well cared for and safe. In addition, shes so happy there too. Love this place!
January 2019
Parkland Memory Care is a very nice and clean facility. The staff works really hard to make all patients feel cared for and accepted. They have a lot of activities for their patients. I volunteer each month with my grandson to provide some companionship and support for patient activities. It is very rewarding to see them participate in different activities . I think they even recognize us now.
January 2019
This place is very welcoming and has a good feel from the way that they care for their patients and do activities including everyone to make it feel like a big family. Im really happy for my grandma getting the care she needs while being able to enjoy others and have community. Another thing I wanted to point out that is one cool thing they get to do is once a month they get a spa day! They have a hairdresser come in and a nail salon lady to do their hair and nails and its so cool that they do that for the patients. Overall parkland has a really homey feeling to it with quality care.
January 2019
This is one of the nicest facilities I have toured. Definitely would recommend. Clean and great floorplans.
January 2019
We moved MIL over to Parkland from another memory care facility when Parkland opened in October, both because of the closer proximity to family as well as their fee structure which better suited our needs. Although her previous facility was really good, Parkland has compared quite favorably. First, the staff is highly responsive, not only to the residents needs, but takes the initiative to keep family updated on MILs activities. The sporadic emails of photos of MIL at activities is such a nice touch! The staff is also very proactive with suggestions and solutions to any issues so that we can improve MILs quality of life. Additionally, its good to see that the staff is very patient and kind with all the residents in their responses to the quirks that arise with memory care residents. Second, the facility itself is quite spacious, well-lit, and very tastefully decorated. The layout is very conducive to encouraging residents to enjoy and congregate in the common areas. The staff is very conscientious about keeping the residents rooms as clean as possible despite the spills that happen. Third, the activities coordinator is creative and provides creative, meaningful activities to keep the different levels of residents engaged. Parkland has been such a good fit for MIL.

I have taken the tour, and yes, this is a top notch facility! The residents are included and involved in so many activities which, I feel, helps keep their brains stimulated. Thank you Parkland Memory Care in Chandler, AZ!
