The Garnet of Casa Grande – Reviews
May 2023
Wish I could give less than one star. Neglectful, irresponsible. Caregivers are underpaid, overworked and short staffed. Don’t let your loved one go here. They only care about $$$
October 2022
My parents have been there for a few years and seem to like it.
October 2022
I came to the Garnet in Oct 2018, My former husband lived here. I came to be near him, and it was amazing, He passed away in Aug. and I broke. The staff here took my heart to hold it gently in their hands as I weep. Then I myself began a serious medical journey and I could not longer care for my beloved BabyGirl. Between Crystal and Tammy, my cherished pet was placed in a perfect home with people who will love her, and allow me updates. It was one of the hardest things I have ever been thru, and yet my heart is at peace knowing she will be safe and happy. A staff that cares for the aging body, mind, heart and a persons pet is priceless, and here is where you will find it.

Now that restrictions have eased up a little bit and people are allowed to see their loved ones it’s a little bit better. The staff could listen to residence though a little bit better than I do in terms of caregiver resident interactions. And as far as meals go I need to get somebody in there that knows how to cook food properly to where it’s number one edible and number to meet the dietary restrictions that the residence require. A lot of the resident compliants Do not get resolved. The residence may be elderly but they don’t deserve to be ignored. Or dismissed

Great place! But you guys need to test residents for covid! And let them see loved ones! People going downhill because they miss family!! My loved one has been really sick for a week and the caregivers (not nurses by the way) keep putting off calling her doctor, and down playing her suffering. Unacceptable during the pandemic. Will be contacting corporate!

Nice place to live if you have a ton of money..if not you are out of luck.

The Garnet of Casa Grande does a wonderful job of creating a home-like setting for seniors in need of extra support with the tasks of daily living. The staff is caring, compassionate and skilled in the needs of the senior citizen. I was completely satisfied with the way the Garnet staff demonstrated the willingness and ability to accommodate the increasing needs of my loved one until her passing. I recommend the Garnet and families should definitely consider a visit when looking for a living environment that offers a wide range of assisted living services.

I moved my parents into The Garnet in December. What an easy move we had. The staff is so willing to help. If we need something fixed or hung up, it is accomplished that day. I know I can leave town and my parents will be cared for. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Always smiling and talking to us. Best move ever. Thank you Garnet for being there for us. You Rock!!

As manager of the Cancer Support Center in Casa Grande Arizona, I was fortunate to meet Tammy Nash and her staff several months ago at our open house when they said, we want to help those in our community, what can we offer. We quickly developed a friendship with the Garnet staff who began helping the Loving Hearts Loving Meals volunteers make home made soups and cookies for cancer patients. Those meals are delivered to patients on the day of their treatment at Cancer Treatment Services Arizona so they have a delicious and nutritious meal to take home or eat while there. Each time Ive visited The Garnet, the staff are always pleasant and welcoming and the residents seem to be enjoying themselves with activities and friendship.

Our mothers six month stay at the Garnet in Casa Grande was amazing. From the food to the many activities, she stayed busy and was very comfortable. The staff, including Tammy and Priscilla, as well as Tony, were accommodating and generous with their time. While Mom is happy about her move to California next month to be with family, she has certainly enjoyed her short stay at the Garnet and will miss the staff. Thank you

December 2016
The staff has shown care and compassion for my parents. My mother lived there for a year and a half after a stroke and the staff took whatever time was needed with her when she was unable to care for herself. My father remains there after more than 5 years and is quite content. A recent incident with him exhibited care and compassion by the caregivers in a messy situation. It was not an easy clean up but they put on their gloves and did what needed to be done. Is it perfect? No, but I have not seen abuse or neglect and I spend a lot of time there. Assisted living is just that -assisted. It is not nursing care but assistance with living as indepentently as possible and that is what I see happening at The Garnet.

I want to say thanks to Tammy Nash the Director of the Garnet for a super well oiled ship. We stayed for 9 days at the Garnet to visit my mom at first I thought we where out of our mines because my mother-in-law is in one here in Sacramento Ca. The point is Mrs Nash, crew out of 10 I must say I give them 10. The Food was excellent from chef , Noreene is really concern and is very involved in the residents feeling about how the taste is. My motherVirginia Nolan has been there for over 3 Yrs. Im from California and Im very pleased in our stay. On the last day of our visit my mom fell and broke her hip at the age of 88 and now currently in Rehab. Thanks to all. The Nolans 5-2016
