I was in the Arizona region visiting family and decided to stop by Haven of Camp Verde. As an aspiring AIT I wanted to do a facility tour and check out the building. I had a great time connecting with the administrators who conducted the tour and detailed some key insights into the nursing home. I was impressed by the structure and patient care that was being delivered by the nurses and cleanliness of the staff. I was really impressed by the facility compared to others I toured in the region.

The Haven was very Profesional and comforting. The nurses and cnas are awesome and will go out of their way to ensure you are getting the best treatment possible. Physical therapy was great as well Marge and the whole PT team helped me learn how to walk again. Update: 2 months after I left haven I found out that I needed a copy of my medical records. This process was intimidating but Nikki, Diane and Jorge patiently walked me thru the whole process.

I have visited this place every other day for a couple of weeks. While my friend is recovering from an acute stroke. The physical therapy of this facility is absolutely amazing. Their techniques and ideas are creative. And I see great improvement with my friend. The staff is friendly, kind and conscientious. The place always smells clean. I'm very impressed.

My family member stayed here a few months ago. The care was great, including the CNA's and physical therapy department. Marge and Carlos really worked with her to help with her recovery.

Everyone is super nice, but at times understaffed due to budget not being enough. Now the food isn't good! Been here three weeks and aside from breakfast, I've only eaten 3 dinners. But there are deliveries to this place as tonight it's dominos pizza!

The Haven staff goes above and beyond to make sure the patients needs are addressed in a timely manner. The staff is a pleasure to work with and above all else the facility is clean and the patients seem happy.

I volunteer in this facility two days a week. I have done this for quite sometime now and I will continue to do so as long as they need me. Here are the reasons why: patients are well cared for and I can tell that staff really care about them. Although this is an old building, everyone does a wonderful job of making the facility homey and clean for the patients. Thanks for allowing me to volunteer . ED

Our sister just passed away at the Haven in Camp Verde. She received so much loving care from the staff and management. Lucia, the Director, is on top of everything. Sandy was in hospice, and they coordinated all her treatment perfectly so that her last days were as pleasant as possible. They even brought in special equipment to accommodate her condition. They warmly welcomed the family at all times. I am so grateful for the care that she received there. THANK YOU So MUCH!!

My father spent 3 weeks at the Camp Verde facility. He has alzheimers and is a handful to take care of. Although this facility was not ultimately the right place for my dad, the staff here was amazing in doing everything they could to keep him comfortable and helping us find the right place for him. Amanda in admissions is a lifesaver! Such a sweet and caring heart. We are so grateful!

My sister was in your facility for 20 days last year and really liked it. The facility was pretty clean and the food was great. The nursing staff were friendly, prompt and reliable. Visitors are cheerfully and expertly helped by the receptionist, Rebecca. She was and is a ray of sunshine.

I rate the Haven of Camp Verde with 5 stars. I could rate it higher but that is the highest it goes. Everyone here works so hard and they are constantly asking if I needed anything else. They are friendly. The food is really good. My compliments to the chef. I have eaten food here that I didn't like before but I have learned to try new food and it was delicious. Anytime of the day of night if you need anything. Just ask. I want to thank all the staff for helping me get stronger so I can go home. Heroes work here!!! I would recommend here to anyone. I am a medical social worker who often assists families that need short-term respite or long-term care for their loved ones. From the person that answers the phone, to the nurse that provides care, all the way up to the person in charge there's consistent accountability and responsiveness. In this industry a simple returned phone call goes a long way. But what's amazing about this facility is you don't even have to leave a message because calls or answered most often on the first try. My families are always pleasantly surprised at their experience with the Haven of Cam Verde.

My mother lives in assisted living . She has always received good care. Lucia Spence has been amazing. She shows a lot of compassion and cares deeply for the residents. Any issues we have had have always been resolved. They really do strive to give the best care.

My mom was recently admitted here for skilled nursing after hospitalization for several issues. Our family loves the staff and we are so blessed she was taken here. My mom is receiving exceptional care and smiles at the staff for the very first time since being in any kind of assisted/memory care. My husband has been staying at haven of camp verde, the staff are wonderful and very accommodating not only to the patient's but wonderful to family member's. The room are always clean. For other's to trash this assisted living center is wrong. My husband made 1 year at this facility and my husband feels safe and we'll cared for and that's an a+ in my book.

My dad spent the last nine months of his life in the hands of the capable, caring and professional staff at the Haven of Camp Verde. He was happy and always shared stories about how friendly the staff were (especially EK and Shelby). The staff treated him so kindly and took exemplary care of him. We especially appreciated the excellent precautions they took during Covid. I highly recommend the Haven should you have a relative in need of skilled nursing care or assisted living.

A thank you just seems to fall short in expressing my gratitude to this staff of caring professionals. You made my father feel a part of a larger family these last three years in a facility that felt like home to him. Thank you Amanda for your exceptional loving care and always staying in contact with me. Dad loved you like a daughter. Special thank you to his buddy and friend Ecclesia who made him laugh and feel safely cared for. Always taking time to patiently listening to all of dads stories. Thats dedication and compassion which he has in abundance! My heart felt thank you to Lucia, Jayda and Jarred to name a few that he trusted to care for him. He was picky about that. The facility feels spacious with wide hallways and good sized rooms. A happy vibe overall. My suggestion to the Corporate headquarters would be to develop a green space with flowers and a tree or two in the courtyard on the assisted living side. Its small and would be a welcome addition. So grateful we finally found this place, after two others this was home.

My father-in-law was in the Haven in Camp Verde for nine plus weeks while he was there my husband and I came several times a day. The whole staff was amazing, caring and showed so much love and concern for their residents. I would highly recommend this home, I have an Uncle who will be doing rehab theafter he also visited the facility. Very clean facility too. Thank you Haven for your awesome staff.

I have been at the haven for 3 weeks for knee replacement surgery. My room was clean and cleaned every single day. The therapy is excellent and helped me a great deal. I had excellent care from the nursing staff as well. The only thing extremely bad about the facility is the food. When you finally do get food its not only nasty but ice cold too. You dont get breakfast until 9 to 9:30 every morning which doesnt give you much time to digest before therapy at 10:00. Lunch is served at 1 to 1:30 and once again is terrible and cold. Same thing for dinner. Its next to impossible to get ice for any drink, youd think ice was made of gold. And they never get water for you, Ive been drinking water from the bathroom faucet since I arrived. I was fortunate enough to have family close by that could bring me most of my lunches and dinners and drinks.

As someone who grew up here and remembers what this building used to be like, I can say it is like being in a completely different building. Its clean, the food is good, therapists are well liked by the residents, and there is a great activities program to keep residents busy in their down time. The staff really cares.
