My father recently moved into Magnolia Manor, the memory care unit at Willow Grove. I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire staff. Everyone has been extremely helpful, patient and understanding as we journey down this new path. Willow Grove has a very homey feel, and we have already noticed improvements in my dad as a result of this welcoming community. If your loved one is in need of transitioning to assisted living or memory care, I highly recommend checking out Willow Grove of Maumelle.

I came in to look for my grandmother a place to live. The Director of Sales, Jane, was SO nice and helpful. She made sure that we felt welcome and was very attentive to all of our questions. Over 2 visits, weeks apart, we found an amazing level of positive engagement by the assisted living staff with residents. Staff looks for opportunities to interact, not waiting for a resident to ask. Vacuuming hallway rugs was the job but that didn't stop the cleaner from noticing a resident's facial expression, turning the vacuum off, saying to the resident, "You look like you would like to say something." Sure enough, there was concern enough to then fetch a caregiver to attend to the resident. Patient, respectful and gentle assistance is as good any we've ever seen and in fact, much better than most. The facility is well cared for, meals and meal service are very good and not rushed. Staff has reason to be proud of their care accomplishment and satisfied residents. This is an assisted living achievement that must be seen to be appreciated fully. Highly recommended.

Bria, a nurse, took time from her lunch last Sunday to show me the Assisted Living facility. My sense is that Elmcroft of Maumelle is exceptional; my favorite among the several care centers I have been involved with for my mother and now for my long time friend. The staff, including Laura Dickerson, were both proud of their many years of employment. The very large main area at the entrance, with windows all area, was calm and inviting, due to an interesting architectural design and updated decor. There is much creativity in the variety of activities available. I was especially impressed with physical therapy program centered around an monthly international "walk through a country." In essence, I believe my friend would be able to maintain, if not imp[rove her overall level of functioning when she arrives at Elmcroft of Maumelle. I sincerely thank you for your outstanding commitment to our elderly.

I have had the blessing and the privilege of working at Elmcroft of Maumelle since October 2011. I started out on an as needed basis and went full time after four months of being able to be with my daughter for the first four months of her life. This place has been so much more than just a workplace. From the very moment I walked in to the community to be interviewed, I felt the warmth and the feeling of being at home. They have given me the opportunity to grow and learn as a nurse and I truly learn something new every day. The residents and their families and also my co-workers have all become an extension of my family, as we see them more than we see our own families at home. Our team comes together to find solutions to any issues that arise and solve them collectively, from the CNAs to the administrator. It is such a joy to come to work every day to see and interact with, first and foremost, the residents and then to work with my co-workers to achieve the common goal of providing excellent resident care. Elmcroft of Maumelle has truly taken care of me and I am forever indebted to the kindness of our residents, our residents' families and to our corporation. Without them, I don't know where I would be in my life journey. I'm sure a lot of you believe I am just saying this just for hype, but I truly love this place. As long as they have me on their team, I'm on theirs, and hopefully that's until retirement. This is home to me. Come see us. We will be glad you have you!

Elmcroft of Maumelle was the first facility I visited when I began my search for a place that I thought my mother could be happy, When I stepped out of my car during my first visit, I smelled 'my mama's meatloaf!' After visiting several other facilities, the good food and 'family nature' of the staff helped me choose Elmcroft. My mother has been seriously ill, almost since the first day she moved in. However, the nursing staff has been on top of any change in her health and/or behavior, and their recommendations have been 100% on target and have no doubt prolonged her life! Every staff member I have encountered, from the director to the janitors, have asked about Mamas health and when she would be coming home. As she prepares to leave rehab, she is looking forward to seeing all her friends and getting back home. Any time a lady who has lived in the same house and neighborhood for 55 years can adapt and call a new place 'home,' they have to be doing something right! I highly recommend this facility.

Following the death of her husband and due to her dementia, we knew my M-I-L would not be able to live alone. We were so happy to find Elmcroft. We saw immediately during the on-site tour that it was a wonderful facility with a fantastic staff. They treat their residents with respect and offer a full range of activities. They take the time to get to know their residents and their families, which made her transition very smooth. After two years, we still feel the same. Their attention to detail with regard to the care they provide their residents is second to none. To know that our family member is so well cared for and that she is happy and content means everything to us, truly a burden lifted. We whole-heartedly would recommend Elmcroft of Maumelle to anyone in need of an assisted living facility for their loved one.

After taking over the care of mom two plus years ago, and being in and out of the hospital and rehab, I can honestly say that they take better care of her here than anywhere else she's been. The nurses and staff truly care for the residents, and stay on top of their medical care - often times calling me about something before I even knew it was going on. The activities are engaging and entertaining and there are lots of opportunities for the residents to get out and about in the community. If you need care for a loved one, I encourage you to go visit - you'll be glad you did!
