My mom has lived in the independent living cottages and now in an assisted living apartment at The Blake. The independent living cottages are very nice and the independent living community and services offered are great. My mom was very resistant to moving out of her home of over 50 years, but she absolutely loved her cottage home at The Blake. The clubhouse available to independent living residents is very nice and a number of activities and outings are offered to the residents. In an effort to get a little more assistance for my mother, we recently moved her into an Assisted Living apartment. Once again, she was resistant to moving because she loved her independent living cottage, but she loves her new apartment! While the apartments are very nice, the real plus is the staff. EVERYONE we have encountered has been kind and attentive to her needs. They are truly interested in making and keeping their residents happy, safe and healthy.

The Blake at Chennal is the nicest Assisted Living in Little Rock. The apartments are really nice and very well equipped for the senior adults. They have scheduled activities for the residents all the time whether it’s Jepordy, bingo, movies or some kind of outing. Need a ride to the Dr.? No problem they will supply a ride by appointment. Very helpful to families that work or just can’t take their loved ones themselves. Very trust worthy driver and a safe driver at that. The staff go the extra mile to help their residents and are just as nice as they are helpful. Can’t say enough about the attention they give the residents. They also have beautiful cottages and also a Memory care. My parents have been very happy there since the day they moved in. I don’t see them moving to any other Assisted Living. Thank you to all the staff for all they do for the residents and the care they show them every day. Your the best! Dena Gray

I love going to the Blake. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is bright with sunshine and there are so many things for residents to do. Their dining is top notch and staff is always there to help residents if they need assistance.

My sister in law lives in the memory unit. She is loved, she loves her room, it is a clean place, always has a fresh smell. Staff is smiling and make my sister in law comfortable. They do so many activities with them too. I can't say enough good things. I have been in many places, this is the best care for you or your loved one.

The Blake is a beautiful, upscale facility in a great location offering many levels of care. My neighbor moved into Independent Living there-has the cutest house and has been so happy living there and loves all of the activities provided. I have been visiting there since they first opened and it is such a happy and welcoming place. Rachel, the Director of Marketing is the sweetest ever and I know many other staff members there who do a great job and are very happy working there. Another important factor-The food is amazing!

The facility is beautiful- the staff is always so supportive and friendly. The first person you see is the Concierge at the front, she’s always smiling and ready to assist. Kayla is a nurse there, she’s readily available to chat and answer any questions. Pam is a CNA.. just love her. She’s ALWAYS smiling and will help wherever needed. TJ is amazing in Memory Care! And Rachel is never far away, available to answer questions from enquiring minds.

My mom age 93 is a new Resident of the Blake and today When visiting her from La I had the opportunity to meet the staff! I was ecstatic when I met Nikki, Maria and A J who were so welcoming as well as professional! At the Blake the Team of people work so well together and showed great interest in my Mom from all different angles! The Blake is new and shines in cleanliness and the ideal place to live for anyone who needs help and friendship! There is a wonderful Beauty salon and Christy sees my mom for haircuts and color and as seen, does a beautiful job!!

It is such a beautiful community for those seeking Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care. My mom moved into The Blake in February of this year. She started in the assisted living area and we transitioned to the Memory in July. The staff in the AL were so great. My mom was able to do more for herself at that time but they were very accommodating to whatever she needed. Chris and Felicia from nursing and Pam, CNA were all wonderful Once we moved to the Memory Unit, if I’m being honest, I had my doubts. My moms’s transition was a bit rocky. They were going through a lot of staff changes, and my mom was going through a lot of emotional changes which led to a lot of upset. BUT, Megan, Director of Memory Care, Assured me that she would rectify all of the issues and by george she has done just that. She hired staff, corrected behaviors, and has created a Unit where anyone would want their loved one. Maria and the nursing staff have been wonderful . Charity, nursing, has also been so helpful And can I just add that the food is DELICIOUS !!

I moved my mother into the memory care community shortly after my father passed away. She was very emotional and grieving. The staff was amazing. WIthin a month, she was happy and comfortable in the community. The nurses always communicate with me any changes in my mother's health and so kind to me and my family. I love all the staff in community but Maria is especially special to me because of the care and compassion she has for my mother. I would recommend The Blake to any family looking for a home for their senior family members.
