Overall, my Mom loves living at Brookdale Chenal. She benefits greatly from living with other seniors. Having a room of her own allows her to feel she is living independently, while at the same time enjoying the security and benefits of being in Assisted Living. We would not, on our own, be as able to provide the variety of dining experiences, inter-personal interactions and activities Mom enjoys as a resident at Brookdale Chenal Heights.

This is a great facility, and in a safe location, just minutes from downtown Little Rock. Rooms and common areas are extremely spacious. Staff is very friendly, and engages with family members/responsible individual concerning the resident. The sense of 'living independently' is still there. That is a huge plus!

When I first toured Brookdale Chenal Heights I was overwhelmed at the warmth and happiness displayed by the residents! We moved my Meme there a few weeks later! Rhonda, Debbie, Matt, Angela, Melinda, Ken and staff were amazing and became family because they took such great care of my Meme! This is a wonderful, warm place to call home when needed!!

I am the operations manager for Caring Transitions of Little Rock Metro. I cannot say enough about this facility. And, particularly, about their Sales Manager, Angela Hansard. She always welcomes my team and me with a smile, makes sure we know anything we need to know to get the job done, and offers water, snacks, etc. if she perceives we need it. When we have clients who have not yet decided where they will transition to, Brookdale Chenal is at the top of our list of recommendations and Angelas number is one of the first ones I dial.

My mom has been at two other assisted living facilities and Brookdale Chenal Heights is the best. The staff truly treats their residents like family. They are extremely kind to residents as well as families and go out of their way to accommodate your needs and wishes. The food is exceptional and the social outings and offerings are great. Moms overall condition has improved tremendously in the five months she has been here. I would highly recommend Brookdale Chenal Heights to anyone needing assisted living.

I always enjoy spending time at Chenal Heights while volunteering in a few of their activities. I enjoy watching the interaction between the residents & staff. It says a lot about a senior living community.

Brookdale Chenal Heights has been the perfect place for my mother in law. She had been in an Independent Living Facility for a few months until she fell. After a period of hospitalizations and rehab, we needed to find an Assisted Living Facility. Brookdale did not disappoint. The first thing we noticed was how welcoming and helpful the staff is. We have since found every one of them to demonstrate strong advocate-ship for my M-I-L. All the way from the administration department to the facilities department, each staff member has a vested interest in making sure each resident has what they need. The second thing I noticed was how clean and odor-free and tidy they keep the building. I tell my friends that it seems like a hotel with the decor and the layout of the rooms. Her apartment is spacious and it definitely feels homey and safe. She sits at meals with the same group which allows for her to feel comfortable in her new space. Creating a space and environment to provide an excellent quality of life is what Brookdale Chenal Heights does best. Overall, it has been an outstanding experience. This is primarily due to the staff who make it their mission to meet the needs and desires of each resident and their family. Isn't that what we all want for our parents when they cannot care for themselves?

Brookdale Chenal has been a huge blessing to our family. After touring the facility, meeting the staff and getting to know the director, director of Nursing and sales manager, we knew this was the right place for our grandfather. In less than a week from deciding that this was the place for Papa John, the staff had everything in line for him to move in. We couldnt be happier, he loves his studio apartment, raves about the food, and doesnt miss the bus to Walmart! Most importantly, he feels secure knowing that the staff is just a push of the button away.

What a great experience!! I was concerned about moving my 90 year old mother into assisted living but, the folks at Brookdale Chenal Heights were just super. The facilities are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and they look after mom in a kind and sincere manner. She is actually happy there and I enjoy going to visit her there as well. I do not do reviews or recommendations very often but I am happy to do this one as I could not be more pleased with the experience we have had at Brookdale Chenal. My standards and expectations are high and I have not been disappointed with our choice.

My wife Angela Hansard is the sales manager, so this may seem a little biased....... I have had the opportunity to volunteer at this location several times and have always found it to be a happy place. It is extremely clean. The staff are eager to help the residents and are always in good spirits. The food is restaurant quality.....Ive never had a bad meal here. There is a complete lack of a nursing home feel to this place. Its more like a community of friends.

This community is what most people wish for their parents to live their senior years in. Having meals, activities, outings and personal care all offered in your home surroundings is a great need in seniors. Brookdale Chenal provides that needed peace for family members. A great find!

This a wonderful place to live . The staff is very accommodating and very sensitive to my needs. The activities we have are very good. The activities director works hard to keep me bust. This is what I need. The nurses are very knowledgeable and I don't have to worry about meds or doctors appointments. Also the director will take the time to listen to my concerns. Our parents have lived there for 2 years this month, it is a wonderful assisted living place, but the quality of the food as gone down a lot since they moved in, not sure why, but most residents are complaining, and they keep saying they are going to change things, but they still aren't eating well, because of quality of food has went down so, but cost has went up..
