My mother was in need of placement in an assisted living facility. We toured West Shores and were so impressed by the staff, level of service, and amenities and services offered. Lee Catherine was very gracious and informative and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately my mother refuses to move at this time but it has nothing to do with West Shores. It will be our first choice should her need for services increase. We selected West Shores after a referral from a place for mother and upon recommendations by many of our hospice providers. This is definitely a first class Facility for anyone needing independent living support as well as assisted-living. UPDATE: My mother did require more care and she agreed to going to West Shores. It was March 2020 just as Covid hit. I felt comfortable that she was safe and well cared for when I could not visit. I received updates by phone. She was there nearly a year before she passed. I stick with my excellent rating.

My in-laws moved here September 2023. I love their apartment on the garden level. They have a great view of the manicured lawns and get to see the wildlife, deer, squirrels and rabbits often. This floor offers bingo, exercise and chapel which is super convenient for my mother in law using a walker. They have 3 meals a day which they say is usually pretty good and they have no complaints. They were paired with another couple to dine with being new and that has made for good conversation at meal time. I'm grateful we found this place with the excellent nursing staff and aides. We visit our family often and all the time the place is clean and staff welcomes us with smiles. Also convenient to doctors, hospitals and shopping. We recommend anyone looking for assisted living services to check West Shores out.

Originally my mother, Michelle Walthall, worked here as a chef from 2019 until the end of 2021 I believe. Which only made things for my dad(her ex husband of course) as he started searching for the best facility in hot springs to get my grandparents set up in. They came from Connecticut so it was a fairly big adjustment to say the least haha. They love it though!! Which is also why I came to west shores tonight, to visit with them. See y'all again soon! Take special care of them please!

West Shores is an exceptional facility. The grounds are maintained beautifully and the inside of the buildings are fresh, clean and well decorated. But it's the staff that really makes West Shores special. Everyone has been friendly and helpful, going the extra mile without being asked. I'm really glad my Dad chose to move to West Shores.

We love West Shores! Spacious apartment living. They clean, wash your laundry, divi up medication and you get 3 meals a day! Plus they have fun activities! I’m wishing it was a 50+ community! The whole staff is caring and helpful. This is a great place!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about West Shores. We found the center during a time of great crisis for our family and my disabled father. We had many difficult decisions to make in a short time. Aimee Perkins, the Sales Director went out of her way to help our family in so many ways. She listened to all my concerns and helped me understand ALL of my Dad's options. West Shores has a multitude of care levels and stay options that are really unique. She offered us hope, put us at ease and most of all was just there to listen when we needed it most. I knew we had found an advocate for my father. And this was before we had even made a decision on where my father would be moving! Needless to say, we chose West Shores. The environment there is so uplifting and lovely. Sheri, the head receptionist runs that place like a well-oiled machine! After my first visit, I just wanted to stay in the lobby and join the laughter and conversation between some of the residents and staff. The nursing staff there is top notch, knowledgeable and extremely caring. Sandra, one of the lead nurses came to our home before move in day to assess my Dad. She lovingly put us at ease about my father’s recent decline. She assured us that he would be ok, and he is! His regular nurses at the center, Tiffany and Joann are also so wonderful, authentic and caring. Joann even gave ME a hug when I needed it most. My Dad, raves about the food there and how nice everyone is to him. And he absolutely loves the transportation options available to get him to his doctor appointments. Do yourself a favor, and make West Shores the first visit for your loved one. They have many impressive awards for their standard of care, but nothing can really capture the feeling of love and belonging you and your loved one will feel when you are there.

I moved my mother to West Shores 2 years ago. I could not be happier with the staff and the environment. The staff truly cares about my mom and how she is doing. Covid interrupted the social activities this past year, but things are starting to get going again and the residents seem excited to get back to BINGO and the dining room for meals.The meals are delicious and nutritious.When we brought Mom back after a hospital stay, it felt like coming home.I trust West Shores staff to make this place a welcome and safe home for my mother.

My mom has been at West Shores for about 6 weeks. She absolutely loves the staff and the food!!! She has progressed so much better since she has been there. Everyone is so nice and kind to my mom and she is constantly telling us how she loves the food there as well as the wonderful staff.

This is such an amazing place. To the outside world this is just a community or a facility but to the residents and employees this is a home. Nothing about west shores makes you feel any different. There are so many services offered at west shores. From the independent living to the assisted living. And now the path way to home. Which is such a great program. Now when your loved one who has been living at home their whole life has had a stay in the hospital and isnt quite ready to return home they have somewhere to go. Somewhere will a full staff of nurses and cnas that are there to help them 24-7 until they have the strength to return to their everyday life. There are so many positive reasons to settle in at home at west shores. From the comfort of knowing that even if you go from being completely independent to needing a little assistance you dont just have to pack up and move because everything you need is right in one place. From your nursing staff to every meal being provided for you. As well as the included transportation, housekeeping services, and activities. Too many to mention for such an amazing place. I highly recommend west shores for any and all of your retirement needs.

My 69-year-old aunt was, hospitalized and had to attend rehab after a foot injury. When she was released from rehab, she still was not able to do many of her daily task. She had lived by herself for many years and was very independent. After her injury though she could not do many of the things she used to. I contacted Lee Kathryn Hall at West Shores and she recommended the Pathway to Home room. This temporary housing allowed her to continue her recovery, with trained staff available to assist her when needed. They also provide excellent meals and cleaning service daily. My aunt just cant stop talking about how good the meals are. The nursing staff (Natasha David) provide excellent care taking care of her medications monitoring her diabetes. the facility also provides a wide range of services such as transportation, activities and special programs, and laundry services. This is been a great opportunity for my aunt to continue to get some of her independence back at a very reasonable price. Thank you, West Shores, for your outstanding service and care.

I absolutely LOVE this facility and the amazing team that cares for the residents! Every time I go into the building, it is clean and bright and the residents are happy! A few weeks ago while I was there, I was blessed to see the administrator, Tabitha, serving cookies to the residents as they were listening to someone play the piano and sing for them! I would highly recommend this home to any of my family and friends ❤

I love the home feeling you get at West shores! I had the honor of working there and met some of the most caring nurses and staff I have ever known. The new Executive Director is a wonderful leader, Christian, and Nurse! Her morals and values is what creates the feeling that you are important and loved. She is compassionate during a hard transition for many people. I have been a home health nurse and been to many facilities. West Shores has always been one of my favorite. If my grandparents/family members needed a place West shores would be it!

The desk staff is quick to respond to your questions and they are nice. I enjoy some of the daily activities. The food is good and they are fast on service. The community is clean and well taken care of. I could not have asked for better and I would recommend this community.

The place is very nice it is the older. It is a senior retirement center it also offers Assisted Living. The thing that concerns me , the Halls are very long and it is difficult for some people to walk that far to the dining room. They are rather expensive
