Longleaf is a wonderful place and has very loving residents, very quiet and a nice place to be. Working there on the other hand is horrible. The staff does not care about how you are treated or if you have the right supplies (many times we have had an shortage of food) and managers continually blame you for thing that could have been prevented they are lazy and don’t work. just overall unprofessional. Very unsafe. the kitchen is dirty, chemicals left on the counter, staff cussing and talking rude. I would recommend this place if I was someone looking in but someone who has been inside and worked here I would look else where! (Maybe riverside) if you want your family in a loving, safe place, I would never put any of my family here. The rent does not match what they get staff is very rude as well.

Lovely facility--inside and out! What struck me was how much the staff cares about the residents. Seeing the care and relationship the staff has is heartwarming. I also love that even in COVID, Longleaf has made it a priority to do fun (and safe) things to bring cheer to the residents!

Longleaf is a beautiful new assisted living facility. The décor is bright and cheery which makes it very inviting. The staff is attentive and gets to know each resident personally. They are happy to communicate with family members to ensure that residents are properly cared for. I am thankful for Longleaf and would recommend it to anyone who is seeking a safe, caring environment for their loved one.

Whats great about Long Leaf, beside their location, a beautiful new facility & great customer service...their wonderful staff: Casey, Shelby, Lauren, Catherine, Kim, their kind & compassionate care givers and cant forget to give a personal shout out to Judy, a nurse who goes the extra mile & gets to know her residents. These ladies work so very hard to give each resident their personal attention.

My mother has been a resident of Longleaf since it opened in November, 2019. She is extremely happy there. She loves the attention and care she receives from the staff and thoroughly enjoys the many activities and programs provided. There is not a week that goes by that she does not thank me for finding her such a perfect home.

My 97 year old mother has been a resident at LongLeaf since December 23, 2019. I cannot say all the good things about the staff, I may leave something out. When Mother arrived, she was brought in in a wheelchair from another facility. LongLeaf Caregivers gave Mother great attention and encouraged her to use her rolling walker instead of the wheelchair within a couple of days. She immediately had more energy from the exercise. They coaxed her to not stay in bed and also to eat. Again, more energy. I met Leslie Carter at Mothers first facility about 4 years ago, this is her third. Ill always think highly of her genuine care. Mother did not want to be in assisted living and she did not leave her room for 3 days. Leslie visited her and said, lets just walk around. The walk ended at the lunch table. Mother sat down and ate and was happy after that. Her expression about that time was I love everybody and everybody loves me. That is the type of care that Leslie wants from her employee. I describe the building as a Hilton hotel. It is beautiful and makes visiting Mother pleasant. Barbara Rohner
